Stayed here for my Sister’s wedding last weekend and they didn’t have a room ready at check in time, so we had to come back at 4pm and the first room they gave us had this huge yellow urine stain in the bed. If my Dad hadn’t taught me to glance at mattresses in hotels before you sleep on them, that would have been on our backs that night. They gave us a different room immediately, we were not even in that room 10 minutes. The new room was OK, but now a week later the manager refuses to return our deposit and says we must have urinated on the first rooms mattress some how just to get a different room and isn’t going to give us the 100 dollar deposit back? Seems illegal.

Rooms were plain, but nice. Beds were comfortable. Playground & patios were nice for families. The couple complaints I do have are that the bathrooms need necessary updates, outlets don't hold plugs, & front desk receptionist is not forthcoming about hours of breakfast & it's located. The workers indicated it's an ongoing problem. The property is large, & I wandered around for 20 minutes looking for the breakfast area. When I finally found it, they were taking it down. Overall, not a horrible place, but definitely will lose guests over the inconveniences.

Been staying there for years. Reasonable prices and Restaurant good for families. Also pet friendly. Has a big pool and nice playground for the kids.

Great place for a stay in the hot weather with the large quite cold swimming pool.

This is rated 3 stars but it should not be. I have seen hotel 6 better than this. Mold in bathroom, keys don’t work on outside doors, or on your room door, outlets coming out of the walls. The cleaning people are very nice. Would not recommend I’d pay the extra $20-30 and stay next door.

The worst hotel that I’ve ever stayed at. The first room that we got assigned was worn out: the door was scratched and jammed, the wallpaper was peeling off the walls, the WATER IN THE BATHROOM SINK WASN’T WORKING, and it smelled burned – not smoked, burned. Our replacement fixed a lot of those things, granted, but there was clear water damage in the ceiling, the toilet bowl was cracked, one of the two locks on the door had clearly been broken off with force, and there was no internet or TV. Intolerable, even for one night.

Nonsmoking room smelt like weed and plumbing didn’t work. Better hotels within walking distance. I give them a 1

Very accommodating staff, bartender is great, wings are huge and delicious. Overall a very nice experience!

Love this hotel. Gave my niece a sleepover for her birthday and the kids loved it. Swimming pool nice and clean and rooms are excellent and roomy. Very comfortable.

You can tell this used to be a nice hotel, but those days have passed. The room was clean, but dated looking. The towels were paper-thin and the shower head had a considerable amount of rust on it. The pool was nice, but the playground was old looking. There were several guests smoking near the pool, and the smell of marijuana was noticable. The breakfast consisted of low-quality frozen bagels and pastries, although there appeared to have been other items that were not restocked when they ran out. Overall, I can't really recommend this hotel, as there are several nicer ones in the immediate vicinity.

This hotel used to be so much better couple years back. Now it's only free breakfast for 2 people, any additional guest have to pay per day. The rooms are getting older but they aren't being updated. Wallpaper peeling, paint chipped, mold, smelly, the AC unit is set to high but barely blows, there are no elevators, the Wi-Fi doesn't work if the hotel is fully sold out. The only good thing is the pool. I used to love this hotel but will no longer be staying here.

I stayed one night on the go west guided tour route, this for now turned out to be the worst motel, outdated, with various outages including Wi-Fi TVs and Noisy Mixers! Honestly not very clean! Nice instead the pool and breakfast in the norm!

The hotel is quiet lovely. In moments of long journeys, you can relax here. Roll about. Closed area with swimming pool. Almost no people. Breakfast is standard.

What a great querky hotel. Cool pool garden area with grilles and picnic tables. All rooms have balconies overlooking the pool and allow you to smoke if that's your thing. Full service bar/restaurant with a lively western theme. Rooms are comfortable with fridge and microwave. Definitely not a chain hotel and I love it!

Staff were very professional and worked as a team to maintain the integrity of the business. The pool was maintained and very refreshing but had way to much chlorine in the water I recommend using goggles. Rooms are decent and they come with sliding back doors leading to the pool area as well as a patio or if upstairs a balcony. I would go back forsure. Gave 4 out of 5 because ice machine not working and the over use of chemicals in the pool.

Very friendly, comfortable and has a bar The Bull Shed. But you might want to bring your own utensils if you plan to bbq. Was not able to connect to the Wi-Fi. Overall I recommend due to location, pool and comfort.

Room deserves a serious sweep. Carpet room, near Highway, works in the middle of the night, bathtubs Bouchees. In short don't hesitate to see elsewhere.

Plumbing problem, no water at the sink, the bathtub only very hot water, no cold water. The curtains are drilled…

Nice room with an outside view. Nice service from the staff. Room was of okay quality, a little dated look. Breakfast is served, but selection is a little limited.

We enjoyed our stay, it is child friendly. We particularly enjoyed the huge pool & the playground. Free breakfast was good. However we heard all the noise in the hall way & parking lot. The rug in our room was a bit old. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

The rooms were clean and neat. Bed was super comfy! The bathroom was clean. We did however have a broken desk chair, and peeling wallpaper in a corner. The exterior of the hotel was well taken care of — doggy area was clean, grass and other greenery were well groomed and maintained — but the hotel parking lot left a LOT to be desired. Lighting was horrible on the southeast corner, and the entire parking lot needs to be re-paved, with pot holes filled and new parking space lines painted. Overall our stay — which was 5 nights/6 days — was pleasant, and we will most likely patronize Hotel Rosedale next year for the Match Meet!

Second time staying here. First time everything was perfect. Second time as I laid down to bed sheets were stained looked like a make up stain which I would think they change them once someone checks out. Also one of the small towel was dirty. And thats very disgusting. Also the room has a wierd smell but other than that everything was good. I still come back and give it one last try.

A real disaster! The room in front of the freeway (impossible to sleep without earplugs), the mattress a real trampoline, no Internet access and no access to the laundromat. It was a bad thing we needed everything! Anyway, we're not coming back. On the other hand the restaurant was nice (service and meals).

We were traveling for 14 days in the southwest, had 10 different hotels at that time and the hotel Rosedale was by far the worst accommodation. From the outside the hotel makes a very good impression: the pool area, with a huge pool, is well maintained and really nicely laid out. Actually a wonderful holiday resort. There is also a children's playground, absolutely well thought out… wouldn't be the unreasonable condition of the rooms. We were a group of 8 travelers and had booked 4 rooms and each of the rooms was disgusting! A musty smell, old air conditioning, holey curtains, worn out furnishings, bed beds and stained carpets were found in every room. We all had a room to the pool area but except the view there is only negative to report.
Our room was on the ground floor (No. 115). The sliding door was shaky and the primitive locking device knocked out and unsafe. The toilet lid was smeared on the edge and inside… you didn't want to know what. Have eliminated this mess itself…
In one of the rooms the water of the toilet ran constantly, so you could not rinse after the toilet was used. Only reluctantly, our acquaintances finally got another room. This in turn had dirty towels…
Until 10pm, the pool area was sounded with loud music, which was also not to be overheard when the patio door was closed.
The breakfast was OK, but no more either.

My experience was amazing. Didn't have to call front desk for anything. My room was fully equipped. Thanks to the front desk for a speedy check in and check out. I'll be back.

After working a 11 hour shift on a Friday in Sacramento I stopped for the night heading to Los Angelous. The staff was very nice, made a last minute reservation and held it for a late arrival. Though the rooms can use updating it was comfortable, ample parking; had dinner & a couple drinks at the bar & it was nice/ relaxing/ clean. Bar tenders on top of everything, BEST BURGER I've had in a LONG TIME! I will most definitely stop again on my next trip to Los Angelous.

This place was a contrast of what seemed to be it's former glory and what it currently is. This very large hotel has a lot of potential but could use better cleaning staff and some updating.

Customer service is very bad. And do not have tuallas to dry the Alverca and when you go to customer service you have to leave your identicasion for a tualla and if you ask another Tualla for your partner can not because you no longer bring more identificasiones.

It's a great hotel for the price. The check in staff are very friendly and the hotel is clean. Stay on the second floor if you can, the rooms are newer and a little nicer. My only issue was Wi-Fi seems to be slow intermittently but that's not too big of a deal.

This hotel is very nice, love the locations walking distance to restaurants and costco. Would definitely stay here again. Easy access to the freeway.

Front desk employees are rude and they use the discrimination card at will. But overall the hotel is clean and very cosmetically pleasing. Rooms are also clean and cozy. If not for the front desk hotel staff then definitely a 5 star.

Well what to say I got 5 rooms for 4 nights rooms are what u pay for cheap so all good, they charge a 100 deposit which again pretty standard until they charge your card for 4109 instead of 409 and don’t tell u and then kill your bank account and then they tell u oh well u should have it back in 3 to 5 days and said to call my bank like it is my problem… I honestly would never stay here again… the unfortunate part is I do feel like the girl who checked me in made a honest mistake but the night manager had no care and pretty much said sorry for your luck we released the money so it’s not their problem and if I have a problem with it call the day manager… my feeling is they should do something for my inconvenience but I guess they just don’t care.

They don't tell you the $100 security deposit they pull on top of your money for the room itself. Now I got a room Friday and Tuesday my account is showing them trying to pull the $100. So you're telling me one night I spent $170+

Good value for money Comfy beds. Large pool with heated jacuzzi. The place for breakfast can be better.

Claudia needs to go to Customer Service class! Made a reservation and arrived mid afternoon. While checking in, I was told my room was a single queen bed. I explained to Claudia that the room I reserved was Room 120 which has a double queen. Claudia tells me oh no, you are not in that room. I explained to here that the lady I set the reservation with told me I will be in room 120 with 2 queen beds and made a note not to change my room. So tells me she must have made a mistake. (I am here with a Club that I am a member. We stay in the same area in this Hotel. I have been here 7 times in the last 8 years for this meet. ) I just drove 4-1/2 hours and I am tired, so I unhappily take the room the have available. I realize people make mistakes but Claudia showed no concern or caring for my reservation. I will no longer stay here.

The hotel staff is friendly and accommodating. The free breakfast is good and has a wide selection of items. The pool and the jacuzzi are relaxing and the play area is nice for the kids. The only downside is the $100 deposit and the carpet seems dirty. Some of the cement on the walls is coming off on the outside of some hallways.

Great hotel at a great price. The female that checked us in was excellent. Very welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless. The beds very comfortable. Haven't eaten breakfast yet. They have a cute restaurant in the place. Lol. Very over priced but clean and tons of fun. A friendly country bar. Great hotel. Definitely will return.

Nice place for an overnight stay or to relax for the weekend. Playground, pool and picnic area, make it a great family spot. Has a sports bar, that's open in the evening or other restaurants within walking distance.

Somewhat nice on the outside beautiful Courtyard and pool area but the rooms are in my opinion old and nasty. Everything was outdated in the bedroom comfortable. It was a 1 inch Gap under door that you can see light coming in so spiders and everything else could come in. If you're in that area go to the Best Western Colonial Inn. They have beautiful clean spacious rooms and in wonderful staffel.

Stayed here due to recommendation from a friend and loved it! Nice rooms, awesome pool, great continental breakfast… even a bar in the back and able to order food until midnight which is great when your exhausted and arrive late. Definitely would stay here again!

The place has been remodeled and looks great. Room has old furniture and appliances which is dated in the 90s. Complimentary breakfast is nice. Beds are mix of firm to soft. Showers were fantastic! Never ran out of hot water. Overall I would return.

The staff was very nice. Our room was clean, and we had fresh everything each day. The pool towels are kept separate from the regular towels which I really liked. Overall, the hotel is great. HOWEVER, the restaurant is RIDICULOUS! The service was AWFUL, and the food, if you ever get yours, is not very good… I would stay there again, but I would never eat at the restaurant again!

Very large and bright rooms. I don't like the carpet but the room I felt was clean and well chilled considering the outside temperature… Clean bathroom also s a bit dated. Large outdoor area with pools and playground for the little ones.

We arrived late and my wife forgot to ask for a room on the 1st floor being that I'm disable and although I could have used the stairs but with all our luggage enough for 4 days it would have been to hard to carry it all upstairs since there's no elevator. They found us another room downstairs that is awesome. We've stayed here last year for our regional convention and the location is great for everything. Looks like they remodeled as our room has tile that is so cool to walk on since it's going to be 99 this week. FYI the rooms overlooking the pool have patios with chairs to sit down and enjoy. Bottom floor allows you to walk out to the pool etc. Staff is great and the room is equipped with a microwave, fridge and coffee maker, blow dryer and ironing board. Compliment style breakfast was good with good tasting coffee. Easy freeway.

Wow! What a gem! Last minute reservations made when My home AC kicked the bucket. My family and I stayed in a long king suite for an exceptional bargain and were beyond impressed. The entire grounds and our room were so neatly and meticulously maintained and CLEAN! Beautiful decor! You would never know by the condition of our room or the grounds this was a pet friendly location. The staff were all extremely friendly, professional, and courteous. Everyone was excited about the breakfast buffet, and the pool is huge! I'm glad Expedia led is here, because we plan on recommending it to visitors.

This place is nice. It does not look like much in the front needs makeover. Inside is much better. Has a western atmosphere. Breakfast needs improvement, coffee was bland.

Good location: close enough to the fwy to find easily, far enough away to not have road noise. Clean, well appointed rooms with super comfy beds. Staff is always wonderfully cheerful and helpful. The breakfast is a mix of hot and cold, but includes things like yogurt and hard boiled eggs to balance the carbs they offer. Get there early, it be prepared to wait and possibly not have an available table. The pool and hot tub are nice and the playground is super handy for the little ones. The grounds in general are clean and maintained.

Staying in a two Queen bed room with others. Room size is large, clean, and neatly put together. There's a large pool and grassed BBQ area in the middle. I give Hotel Rosedale two thumbs up.

The rooms were big and spacious. The swimming pool was awesome. Grandkids love to swim. The breakfast was great. Luv this place. Will surely stop here again.

The hotel was nice in appearance but ruined my son's wedding night. I made reservations three days in advance after visiting the hotel with my soon to be daughter n law. We spoke with the girl at the desk. We asked about the rooms and told her it was for their wedding night. The girl at the desk was very nice. She congratulated our daughter n law and told us everything we wanted to know. We looked at a few other places and pick this hotel for their special night. The wedding came and our son and his new bride left to enjoy their wedding night. My daughter n law called me crying saying the hotel would not let them stay because they were not 21. No I'm ever said you had to be 21 to stay there. A wedding night is a special occasion and because the staff at this hotel did let us know there was an age limit my son and his bride didn't get their special night. I think this is very sad.

Stayed at Hotel Rosedale in Bakersfield, Ca. We had a double bed. The restroom was very clean and neat. Towels were clean and stain free. The room had a balcony overlooking the pool and courtyard which was beautiful. Some channels on the t. V. Didn't come in clear and the picture was offset. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I have stayed three different times and this is my last time. The first time we stayed we found cockroaches in the bath room we told them. The second time we stayed more cockroaches we complained about it they told me they where having the place sprayed so then my wife left her swim suit in the bathroom we called when we got home they told us no problem we found it. I told them I would be back in town on the 7th of August. When we arrived at the hotel they didn't have the swimsuit and then would not Honor the reservation we had made even though it was from the hotel so they charge my card 328.76 then 394.76 so I complained about it and notify them of this and so they can fix the problem but they didnt fix it they took another 161.00 so now my trip is costing me about 900. For a two nights stay I sure hope they fix it how ever it goes this is my last stay in this hotel.

Spacious rooms. Comfy beds. Great breakfast and waffles! Great price. I stay here every time I visit Bakersfield. Highly recommended.

Wifi was awful, hot tub did not work, random people came into the hot tub who were not Guests they were high, and started smoking I felt so nasty after trying the hot tub that I had to shower for 10 minutes to get the smell of cigarettes and ash out. Breakfast is ok, really need another waffle iron.

I do not recommend this hotel. It was the worst hotel ever. Water was leaking from the ceiling and disgusting smell was from the room. I won't stay here forever.

This is the absolute worst hotel I've ever stayed in, and I'm a frequent traveler. Don't let the cool lions out front or the newly painted lobby fool you. For the $70 per night I paid I expected crappy pictures on the wall, peeling wallpaper, patched up walls and maybe even a big box TV. In fact, when the phone in my room didn't work, no big deal. I do expect my room key to work, hot water when I take a shower, the Wi-Fi to work and clean sheets. — As you can guess, my room key didn't work (twice), no hot water, and even after I moved rooms (no help offered), the Wi-Fi is crap, and there were hairs in the sheets of the new room. Fortunately there's two beds, and the second bed appeared to be cleaner. No compensation was offered for the inconvenience, I was told there was nothing she could do. My friend, who was in a different room, had cigarette burns in his sheets. Save yourself the hassle, go somewhere else.

This was the WORST experence ever! Had to change room, pubic hairs in the beds, windows have no screens, paint on doors peeling, lock on door had been kicked in three different time and moved around. The worst part the group we were with ALL 6 ended up with a skin infection from the spa.

This hotel is old dirty and I had roaches in my room the internet didnt work the brreakfast was horrible and the service was rude and very un helpful except for the one maintence guy who finally came to my room 30 minnutes after I called oh an if u get a room on the second floor be advised there is no elevator.
