My family had frequenting this Holiday Inn for two decades. With numerous weddings, family reunions, etc… The hotel had always been able to accommodate our needs and have done so with exceptional service and care. The rooms are nice, nothing over the top, but they are clean and look cared for. Maxx's restaurant and bar is great for breakfast and a beer. The on-sight social amenities are will suited for families and solo, alike. The pool is well taken care of, the patios are clean and… Inn & Out burger is so close to this hotel, you could almost order it for room service. What a great location.

Spent an entire weekend here because it was close to downtown Auburn — — just 2 mins away. The staff was very courteous and super helpful; the inn offered several amenities like a fitness center, pool, and restaurant, and my room was clean and comfortable. Would stay here again. Parking is great and the inn is easily accessible being close to 2 highways.

Rooms are clean, staff is friendly. Breakfast buffet includes yummy omelettes made to order (not your typical breakfast). We will be back :)

Stayed here for a few days when I was making arrangements for my sons burial. Staff was considerate and made me feel less stressed. Thanks to all my sons friends for their concern and care. Would love to stay again under happier circumstances.

An hour away from ski resorts at Tahoe, affordable, large rooms, super clean, and efficient services. Kids eat free at Max's — the restaurant within. Guests are frequently friendly and laid back, walking into the hotel feels like walking to an apartment home. We have been staying at this hotel a few days a year for 10 years, the only thing I wish they still have was the library, which was replaced with big TV: we really don't need another TV in this country.

We used the upper conference room (the Sierra room, I believe) for a week-long training. The ice water supplied was cool and refreshing and the room was a comfortable 68 degrees. The downstairs guest bathroom was extremely warm, approximately 86 degrees. This was my only complaint.

The location is perfect for long or short stays. There is a In and Out Burger in the parking lot next to it attached to the hotel parking lot and if you're looking for seni-fine dining at a decent price Max's is perfect and part of the same. Building there is to grocery stores Rite Aid CVS Staples a laundromat and a FedEx not to mention burgers and cream right down the street within walking distance the rooms are elegant and affordable with great customer service tribute I give the Holiday Inn Auburn 5 stars.

Restaurant at the holiday inn was max's. Food was good, not great, but still good. Dining room and location were very nice.

The hotel is very comfy and cozy. The enviroment is very peaceful and quoet. The best part is the welcoming hospitality by the staff along with a great breakfast provided. Keep it up!

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly… The Good: the front desk staff of this Holiday Inn was fantastic, super friendly and professional. This is a little bit older Holiday Inn, but the lobby has obviously been updated and is beautiful. The common area restroom near the lobby was immaculate. The guest laundry is inside a room INSIDE the business center; I used neither this trip but think that is so smart! I prefer to multi-task and having those together would make that possible. The bad: the room was just okay. There's a mini fridge but no microwave. The bed was hard. Hard. I prefer a bed on the firmer side, but this was ridiculous. The Ugly: The bathroom fan was FULL of dust and didn't move any air AT ALL. Even if you can't hear the fan, if you place a single layer of a 2-ply tissue on it and the fan isn't holding it in place then the fan isn't moving air. Period. And that's just gross.

Good location. Close too old Town and downtown. Really nice town.

Pretty good hotel. Excellent restaurant located in hotel. Breakfast buffet is definitely worth the price. Room did seem a little dated, but not too bad. There are a few meeting rooms that can accommodate small to large groups. Definitely recommend this hotel. Especially if you are looking at hosting a merting.

Good location with plenty of stores and ships nearby. Beds were very comfortable, room and bathroom were spacious. Only issue was they charged my personal card instead of my company card after I was held up with checking in because they could not locate my company's authorization form. Overall, would go again.

It was a nice hotel. The location was beautiful and it was tight next to a in and out. The breakfast was delicious. The rooms were clean and very spacious.

Not to loud which is great. Good bartenders and the mood is set very well.

Nice hotel. Had to stay here due to an emergency, but it was clean, well maintained, and Max's was as yummas I expected it to be.

Location, as far as Auburn goes, is great. About half mile walk to Old Town where there's plenty of interesting shopping and quaint dining experiences. Views are unremarkable and the hotel feels a bit outdated. I gave up on the TV and the exercise room was mediocre. Rooms are clean although I did have a large spider walking across my carpet yesterday morning. Breakfast buffet is okay; typical assortment of eggs, sausage, and fruit. Coffee is better elsewhere. The people are nice and I enjoyed the pool once I overlooked the bugs swimming with me. Overall good value but not a destination.

I've stayed here for literally months with my job and it's always nice. The bar and restaurant in house is so pleasant after a long day. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

We weren't able to get an extra roll out bed, but besides that this Holiday Inn had the best breakfast offered. It's pretty much the same as any other Holiday Inn beside the restaurant portion inside. Room had USB charges and everything looked brand new.

Clean rooms. Decent restaurant. Wi-Fi is extremely slow and unresponsive throughout the building.

I didn't actually end up stay the night because they were full, BUT I must comment on the great staff. My vehicle broke down right by their parking lot. I managed to get it safely to a parking spot. Since it was late at night I didn't want to tow it right away. The front desk staff was very hospitable and let my kids and I stay in their warm lobby while my husband was on the way to rescue us. We had it towed the next day and I am truly thankful for their hospitality! I also am a platinum IHG member and stay in a lot of Holiday Inns. This one was very nicely appointed and clean.

Stayed the night here with my girlfriend last week, and the rooms were very relaxing. Service was decent and food was delicious. I think we would visit here again in the near future.

Stuck in a smoking room when I am a non-smoker. They were suppose to fog the room and did not. Internet Wi-Fi is absolutely terrible. You can't even Google something up as simple as water little less get any work done. Never again.

Lovin it here at Holiday Inn, Auburn, CA. Location is walking distance to the shopping and food. The bed is so comfortable and staff from desk to housekeeping are really nice.

Great place, nice and clean just like every other Holiday Inn. One thing though, you should spell check your signs "Reacrational" is not a word.

My husband and I were in town for a wedding at ''The Power's Mansion INN'', we chose ''The Holiday Inn'' for convenience. We LOVED IT! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was spotless clean and quiet. ''Marie Callender's'' was on site and very good. We could not have asked for a better experience.
