I stayed her for one night and it was the worst service I have ever gotten at any hotel I have ever stayed at. There are bed bugs everywhere the room was completely disgusting. I found a cereal bowl underneath the bathroom sink with a nasty spoon. I found everything the next morning including a a crack pipe underneath the bed. Basically out in the open and when asked for a refund they tried to shift the blame to everyone and everything but themselves. I never write reviews but I needed to do it for this place. Dont ever go here!

Bedbug nightmare! I paid for a place to sleep. You can't even sleep when you're being attacked all night by bedbugs. I asked for a different room. I was told no because they don't want the bedbugs to spread. They said they would change all sheets and bedspread the next day. They never even entered the room to clean. Definitely one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. And I've been to many hotels. This place has potential but they need to put more focus on cleanliness and taking care of these issues for people who pay to stay there. I will say the people who work there seem friendly, just not really helpful.

The young man at the front desk was nice. The rooms are neat and clean. They are doing some work on their rooms. Love to see how they look in the future. I would recommend this motel. Looks like it is getting nicer, keep it up!

Overpriced for how it is deceptively advertised. I've read through the other reviews here and I'll say I don't disagree with any of the negative feedback.

Very nice people. Even helped us out with pricing. Would recommend for a short stay or a quick place to lay your head and shower. Under remodeling so will be better than ever has a pool and bbq area for relaxing.

Place wasn't as advertised. Under construction. Finally got checked in and in my room. Room was never cleaned, trash in the can, floor trashed. Definitely would not recommend this place.

Owners are Indians. Stay away from this place. Bed: stained sheets/blankets/pillows/pillow covers. Carpet: dirty. Walls and Windows: dusty and with black particles. Sofa: stained and dusty, bedbugs. TV: old. Cabinet: broken and with termites. Walk in Closet: decayed, dirty, old. Bathroom: sink with mold, toilet from 1820 with feces residuals, broken floor, shower had mold and wáter was limited, window was painted in 1840 and had faded to the point someone could see you showering thru it. Kitchen: dusty, old. Upper Big Hole on the roof: I could hear walking noises in the night (probably rats), you could see stuff thru the hole, a person could easily fit thru it. The AC/Heater: on top of your bed, no adjusting limit (either 90 degrees hot or very cold). Outside: homeless, smoking people. Please, owners, do not be greedy!

Nice and quiet. Older rooms, could use a remodel but overall satisfied for what I paid and what I got. Stayed in room 108 and it was nice and spacious. Wi-Fi signal is a little weak and goes in and out in this room however.

My stay was alright I just was there just to meet with friend and take care of a couple business Arrangements since it's really close to the Community College it was very convenient and a practical place to execute my task.

The rooms are dirty and the bathroom are all broken it seems like people are to active at night could no sleep at all.

Floor not vacuumed but there were no bugs… thought the cheap price was worth it but there are 35$ a night rooms all over Tucson. I would recommend a different location even for the price.

Goodness the owners were so great on our first visit through we had to rebook and return. The motel is older but clean n well kept. Its historical and the old Tucson charm of the individual cottages is well worth the stay. Thank you for making our stay in room 110 so pleasant! Mike Anna and Fay from California.

Price for room was rediculous high considering the room and service should have been WAY nicer for that amount of money for 1night. Could definitely have used more towels and tolittries.

Management was very welcoming and generous. Anything we asked for they did without hesitation. The rooms are pretty old but very cozy and homey.

This is a roach motel for sure. I wouldn't recommend anyone, unless you are a tweeker or crackhead or trying to score some dope, that anyone I love stay there…

If you need a cheap place to crash land in Tucson, look no further. Harry is the man behind the counter, and Brandy in housekeeping really kicks butt. Staff does their best to maintain the property and make up for the location. Just be aware before you check in at this is not the best neighborhood in town, however it's definitely far from the worst. If you need a Motel where you know the staff is on the up-and-up and you need great rates, this is the place to go.

Okay experience. Staff unfriendly. I like the landscaping. Was visiting a friend. Roomy rooms.

Great value for the money. Be advised that this is an older property, with ongoing renovations. (Most hotels immediately north of Downtown, but below the Tucson Mall area, are going to be older properties anyway, many of them built in the '40s, '50s and 60s). Grounds, furnishings and fixtures are older. Manager was very helpful my last stay, helped me with a FedEx package I had delivered there. Cheerfully upgraded my room when A/C was out in the first room I had. Room had a king bed, flat-panel TV with remote, with Cox Cable, kitchenette with full-size fridge and microwave, walk-in tub/shower. There is free Wi-Fi but a little spotty at times. Awesome location, walking distance to downtown and a short bus ride the U of Arizona (property backs up to Pima Community College Downtown campus), but be careful at night; some blue-collar residential districts are nearby and there are seedy people who stay in some of the other hotels. Not many University students to be seen here as there were 20 years ago, but I stayed here after the UofA was done for the school year. Tucson is very peaceful and quiet during the summer "off-season". On three buslines, very convenient to I-10. If you don't mind "worn around the edges" and don't mind a couple of homeless people walking past, give Frontier Motel a try. A "newer" suite hotel with kitchenette will run you at least 2-3 times the price in Tucson.

There is bed bugs in both rooms in 112 and 104. The room 112 the bed was gross the couch was too no working fridge. Roaches it looked like they didn't clean I got bit butch of area. I got charge extra too.

This is a dishonest merchant and the place is a dump. I prepaid $89 for this $25 roach den, and when I showed up, they told me that they had no vacancies!

Good place for cheap stay. You get what you pay. Old big rooms with old fittings. Stayed for 4 days no room service came. Health concerned people stay way.

My room was cute. Not many motels have clean and quiet rooms, but the Frontier does. Not to mention their outstanding customer service! I loved their pool. They can use some fresh grass instead of the dirt in the middle of the property. But, I think they kept it for the western setting. I enjoyed my stay, I will be back in the future.

This property is great! Not only do they have the best rates in town during the holidays its above and beyond. The manager Harry is courteous. The location is excellent and it's affordable. The Wi-Fi was also good and fast. I would definitely stay there again.

Amazing customer service! The general manager, Harry upgraded my room to a king bed. The room was fabulous. The room was so cute. I highly recommend staying at this motel.

Stay away from this place. We were there for one night then had to leave. The managmen is rude. It is lit up bright at night. They watch everything you do like your on jail or something. Horrible dirty rooms. Just a bad place all around.

Horrible horrible horrible! spare yourself and do not stay here. Check in time was wonderful, and the man behind the counter was friendly and easy going. However the room was filthy. The sheets look like they had not been washed. I had to kill a very large spider and knock down a large spider web just to get to the door. The tile floor had probably not been mopped in a long time since they made my feet black. Check out time was the worst experience in my life. The office was closed and the manager who checked me in was nowhere to be found. Instead I got a very angry woman banging on my door. She banged on my door at around 11 a. M. Which is 1 hour past check out time. I had accidentally overslept. I asked her who she was, and she told me that the manager was not there during the day and she works at a different property and drives over in the morning to handle check outs. I apologize to her for being late and explained I had overslept by accident. Even if I had not overslept I am not sure how I would have checked out with nobody in the office. She told me that because I was late on check out she was calling the police on me. I told her that I was doing the best I could to get my stuff together an out of the room. She told me I had to give her money to stop her from calling the police, but still needed to leave right away. I told her I had no money to give her and continued packing my things.

Try Another Place! God knows when the rooms here have been renovated. The carpet is very old with burn marks everywhere, the matress is bent in the middle, and the furniture in the rooms is tearing apart with burn marks on them. I did not enjoy my stay at all. The managers there will try to sweet talk you into stay there and then you are stuck with NO REFUND.

The motel has a clean and quiet atmosphere compared to the other motels on the block. They just remodeled the pool, and I was one of the first customers to enjoy the newly renovated pool for the first time. My stay here was delightful.
