Great room and friendly staff…

So comfy… we don't want to leave, but we have too.

This is an older hotel but maintained, updated and clean. There are no elevators so if you get the second floor hopefully your luggage isn't too heavy. Staff is friendly but not as interactive as other Marriotts. Breakfast is fair. I haven't attended any of the evening events but they seem well attended.

This is my favorite place to stay in the Phoenix area because the people working there are amazing. They go above and beyond every single time. The biggest problem I have with this particular Residence Inn is that it is always sold out.

Love it. Very beautiful rooms and everything was awesome.

I would highly recommend this place if you have kids and dogs. They have a very good breakfast and in the evenings they have wine and beer and food, not just appetizers, real food. It was great for us as we needed a place to stay before moving into our new home and it worked perfectly.

Room was nice, walls are thin I could hear what was going on upstairs. Breakfast was very un impressed had better at holiday inn.

I completely recommend staying here while in tempe. They are located to great shopping and restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean rooms. Very spacious. Kitchen fully equipped with all you need. Our whole stay was amazing! Would definitely stay again!

If you have to stay at hotel for a long time I really recommend this place. You have access to bbq, swimming pool, fitness or play court. The room had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and living room with kitchen. The staff is always ready to help you or solve the problems. From Monday to Wendsday they organized evening with some snacks, beverages or food from local restaurants.

I had to stay here for work and the AC broke, they shut off the water to my room without telling me, the shower backed up and the internet worked about half the time. The only upside is that there is a stove so I didn't have to eat out every day. I'd recommend choosing somewhere else to stay.

A place where if you ride well, you feel like home. Breakfast is pretty good and on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the snacks that allow you a little bit of rest to chat and spend a little while in company. The pool though a bit little baby is fine and the jacuzzi is nice too. The gym a bit claustrophobic by the dimensions, but for the bigorexicos at least it allows you to do a bit of exercise between so much XXL burger.

Decent place, clean rooms, bed is comfortable and the staff are friendly. Don’t like the squirt bottle shampoo, conditioner and shower soap. Feels like a locker room. Don’t like that they don’t provide lotion or replace the water — honestly, it’s the desert. No location means a human’s skin cracks off, and no water means you have to drink the horrible tap. But I guess one could always walk to the CVS next door… bottom line, this place is decent, and Marriott puts forth a consistent product.

Suited toward the travelling professional, this Residence Inn is on point and their staff truly care about their customers. The staff and the lobby would always provide treats and snacks for my kids when I would come in to take care of something. Amazing!

I am a platinum elite by Marriott I was just reading all the reviews here. There’s one review that just don’t make sense at all at this Residence Inn. As a Platinum Elite I stay almost 100 days of the year or more I stayed in Scottsdale AZ, Valencia and Fountain Valley CA. After being a cancer free I decided to rent my house in Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale so I love staying at a Residence inn and there’s nothing wrong with that as long you have the money why not. The woman who put the review on This RESEDENCE INN she’s just plain liar. Read what she typed in here. She said housekeeper are lazy and one of the housekeeper ask the guest to see if she can get into her room and throw up yes she used the word throw up. All these I do not believe it. The person who wrote this sounds like she’s from the “GET GO” don’t want to use the other harsh word so I use “GET GO”. No housekeeper is lazy no employee will use a guest room to vomit. It’s all non sense. I think the guest who wrote all the lies she’s lazy herself. Maybe I have been lucky so far no employees never knocked very loud on my door or trying to break down my door. What this woman wrote is all lies she’s the one with a huge issues herself and her husband. She has no common sense. I would think all Marriott employees all worked hard especially housekeepers there the hardest worker people in the hotel business. Oh yes, by the way she said she’s 6 month pregnant and her husband is with her.

More like a residence than a hotel. Located at a very accessible place.

Best hotel with kitchen facility. Ideal if u want to spend few days cooking and in the pool.

I've had the worst stay here at the Residence Inn Tempe. I've probably seen more than most people because we have been here for over a month. Most of the housekeepers are so lazy they don't even clean, and I have spoken to the housekeeping manager Andrea so many times I can't even keep count, which leads me to believe she is incapable of correcting their issues. I've had a housekeeper ask me if she can use my bathroom to throw up, I've had housekeepers bring in their children on the weekend, I've had a housekeeper try and knock down my door because she was unable to open it — because I keep the safety lock on — and still tried to break open the door even realizing the lock was on! etc etc. I've had the flu shortly after arriving to Arizona, and I'm almost convinced it's because of the housekeeping bringing in germs — especially judging from the girl who wanted to throw up in my bathroom. I am 95% of the time in my room because I work from "home. " This is a very unhygienic environment. I am 6 months pregnant and shouldn't have to deal with calling the housekeeping manager every other day. There's a total of 2 housekeepers that are actually thorough and clean everything — one is Carmen and the other I can't remember. My husband and I will be here a total of 2 months because we moved here from out of state for his work, and I am going to tell his company not to do business with you all again.

A nice place to stay. After a long day of travel and Christmas shopping it was nice to cash in a comfortable bed.

Residence Inn is the best hotel and my choice of preference when i'm in Phoenix or Tempe… Cozy rooms, good complimentary breakfast. Good ambience and facilities.

Staff was helpful and the rooms were clean. The 2 stars are for the property. This is the only Residence I've been to with room doors open to the public. All others (and I I've been to a lot) you need a room key to get in the building. Not this one, open air entryways.

Neat, clean, everything great except they take your credit card info at check in and charge $20 To your account to cover anything used during stay. That seems wrong to me. I know they will probly reinstate charges but it's been 3 days now and still no reimbursement. Taking card info is ok with me but the charge is not. Take card info then charge only after not before. This would be a deal breaker for me on choosing where to stay next time.

Superb service … Only one issue. Smart TV woulndnt allow me to add my Netflix account But everything else was just perfect and quality was the best.

The staff is friendly and the room are nice. The breakfast is also great. The floors are thin, though, and you can hear any walking if someone is moving around. We have also had a hit and miss experience with housekeeping. Some days they did great, others they barely touched anything.

BATES MOTEL: I arrived on 11/03/17 late in the evening when I returned I noticed someone had been in my room. I also noticed a locked door that the front desk couldn't explain were the key was. I immediately asked the front desk for another room the man at the front desk looked like someone out of a scary Movie and was very unprofessional. The following day I went down to the worst slop I had ever seen served at a hotel the breakfast was cold and thrown together. I immediately became suspicious of some of the things I had been seeing going on around the Hotel I question one of the maids she became alarmed I then questioned the front Desk employee she tried to clean up that there was nothing Illegal going on several employees thought it was funny and began laughing out loud. The staff was very unprofessional this place doesn't deserve anyone money.

Very clean, reasonably quiet, all the necessary stuff like laundry, kitchen, etc. And evening refreshments are usually pretty good.

Super clean a pool a basketball court bed in breakfast it's just overall nice.

Customer service was pretty good. The conference room very convenient to use.

This place is ok and its overpriced and the free breakfast isnt but maybe fair. The rooms are nice, quiet and dark, they could use some more light fixtures in the room. The room had a garbage disposal and it smelled rotten.

Very nice rooms, felt more like an apartment than a hotel room. And couldn't beat the price $62 a night! The location is perfect as well.

We rented the wrong hotel on accident. But the kids enjoyed their weekend getaway! We have a full kitchen with pots pans utensils for cooking. So you could basically go to the store pick up something up come back and cook it and not worry about bowls Spoons forks ect. The carpet was stained and some of the doors are a bit rough. But over I'll give this place a 4/5

Great hotel. Over all will stay there again. Great amenities, Pool, Hot Tub, on site laundry. Only thing that could make it better is an on-site restaurant but they make up for it by have a social hour for all guests, food and drinks provided free.

I stopped by the Residence Inn Tempe to see a friend for a few moments. The exterior was pleasant and looked like apartments. The rooms were crowded though seemed nice for a weekends stay. I would stay there now having seen the rooms.

The most impressive feature here is the staff. In all my 83 years of life, traveling across this country's roads, lodging in larger more expensive places, but none with more courteous respectful, smiling employees. I will always remember the ladies (and late shift gentleman) who greeted me each morning with a warm genuine smile. They deserve to be recognized for their consistent dedication to excellent customer service.

Rooms are filthy. Carpet is stained. Bathtub looks dirty.

Mosquitos Flying Bed Bugs Lurking. Groups of people from different Companies sitting around the BBQ area eating and having a few drinks. Talking about how NOT to waste your time talking to the Assistant Manager "JOE" this guy is a joker. Has no idea how to run a computer let alone the front desk. Needs Assistance from one of the many girls at his disposal. Has no Customer Service skills at all zip zero, he is in the hospitality business should be a Requirement. Has close to No Personality, Lacks Empathy STAY AWAY, until this guy is found out for the Manager HE IS NOT. Hopefully UPPER Management will see this and handle the joe, bedbug & Mosquito problem. Hopefully he is a temporary manager from a temp service. Until then my company and others will STAY AWAY.

Easy check-in. Rooms were clean and smelled good. Excellent and very helpful staff. Very service oriented. Morning breakfast was fantastic. I would recommend it to any one.

I checked into this hotel for business. Come Sunday I start looking for AMC. Sunday is Walking Dead day and I never miss the Waking Dead but I couldn't find the station. I call the desk and ask "do you get AMC here? " The front desk clerk immediately responds "you trying to watch the Waking dead? " I chuckle. "Of course I am but I can't find AMC". Well, after some digging the desk clerk comes back with "I'm sorry, we don't have that station". I let out an involuntary groan, tha…nk the desk clerk and hang up. I'm sitting in the reclining chair dejected a few minutes later when the phone rings. "Hello? " The clerk is back on the line " you still want to watch the walking dead? " I respond "uh… yeah, Of course! " and what I hear next makes my night. "Well, we have a guest lounge and we get the station over here. I'll put it on the big screen and you can watch it here… ". Forgetting my manners in my enthusiasm I interrupt with "I'll bring the popcorn". Five minutes later I'm in the guest lounge with my traveling partner munching popcorn, up to my eyebrows in guts and gore, wondering where in the world Glenn is. Needless to say this was one of the best hotel experiences of my life not only thanks to the staff but also the location. The hotel is close to everything you could want or need like restaurants and grocery stores. It's right across the street from a major mall that has good shopping. It's close to campus and to the 'downtown' nightlife of the area.

ROACHES! ROACHES! ROACHES! Our room (912) is infested with ROACHES! We have called management every day. Each time the attendant said they would "put in a work order". The exterminator finally came after 3 days but WE had to remove everything from the kitchen cabinets, cover everything, then wash all the dishes after the spray and put them all away. AND … WE STILL HAVE ROACHES! Every time we return after an absence or turn on the lights, we have to kill 3, 4 even 7, 8 roaches! They are in the dishwasher and even the microwave! We have every food item — even salt & pepper — in the refrigerator and take every item of trash outside to the bin immediately. Still we have ROACHES! The only management action since the spray has been to leave us a bag of caramel popcorn as an apology. They left it on the counter as food for the ROACHES! My husband is ill and we are in Phoenix for a week of medical treatments. If he was well enough we would have checked out on the first day. We are horrified!

Love this place… never stay anywhere else when visiting our kids at asu.

I stayed in this hotel for 7 nights during my relocation from NC to AZ. The My wife and I had 4 kids. We had 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite with full kitchen and living room. I can't tell how much we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It really made our transition easy and great. The front desk staff are so friendly, the mangers and the supervisors are all great. You are always greeted with a smile from the staff. They really go above and beyond to help their residents. Breakfast was awesome. Lot's of choices… Pool was a great place to spend couple of hours everyday with the kids. Very clean everywhere in the hotel… Suite was very clean when we checked in… Room service is great and really respect your privacy, but do their job when you step out… I would recommend this place to anyone coming from out of state…

Not a good stay. Mosquito infestation and Manager does not care about the infestation because I was told by the front desk that its warm and they cannot control mosquitos. I would agree with that statement but we are talking about 25 — 40 mosquitos inside my room and when the A/C turns on its like an African safari they way they scatter. Stay away because I notice all rooms have mosquitos flying near the front door. Pros: Most of the staff is very friendly and the breakfast is great and this is my one star Cons: A/C max out at 68 degrees. Not good for 100 degree weather, Manager needs better customer service skills, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

I love this place! Very welcoming and the people and the desk are just the friendliest people ever! It makes me happy to think my husband is well taken care of when he makes trips every month, and I get so excited to go there when our family gets to join him. It's a great place to stay!
