Awesome place for a getaway.

Our stay at this Hilton property was enjoyable. Love the warm chocolate chip cookies!

24 hour shuttle service wasn’t available, incredibly rude front line desk person, at 3 am with an aggressive, unhelpful attitude, to my wife. He was called Londale, although he refused to tell us his exact name. Wearing a baseball hat reversed, is just what you expect as the desk person at a top hotel. Ruined our stay and have made formal complaints to the hotel and CEO.

First our room was not ready until 4 when check in was at 3, then we went to the restaurant for dinner and the server was rude and disrespectful. Would not recommend.

Trash laying outside conference room for over 24 hours. I understand some reduced services due to COVID but this is not acceptable. I had a group meeting here walking by it. I would have cleaned it up myself but no trash cans nearby either.

Nice professional staff, by the moment you walk in, they greet in a very professional, especially the tall dark and handsome young man that checked us in. I recommend this hotel, very clean, comfortable spacios rooms. We absolutely love it. Thank you for your nice hospitality! will definitely be back!

Was very disappointed mediocre customer service and no free breakfast and they turned the water off for two hours in the morning. Keep your free cookie I’ll never stay here again.

Room was dirty and old. Very disappointed in Hilton! I booked a pool view and I got a nasty tree view. I have stayed in at least 50 Doubletrees in my travel and work schedule and this hotel should lose its Hilton name!
I can’t even find another hotel and the staff was no help!

Whenever I land in Phoenix I book at this hotel… it was perfect especially dining in. I recommend this one. My favorite person at the front desk would be Ginger… she handles things promptly and professional. Everyone does there but I still like to have a go to person. Thanks Ginger!

Considering how bad the airline did the Doubletree actually made the rest of my night pretty good. The hotel has a restaurant/ bar that has some very delicious food… The bartender / hostess was super nice. She went above what I expected just to make our experience there to be a great one! Thanks for making our night better…

I reserved a room with two queen beds. I checked in via the app and selected my room and digital key. When I arrive, after a 5 hour drive, I was told that room was unavailable, no reason given. I could have a King with a pull out. This is what I got. A crappy twin with no sheets. I received no help from front desk Monique. I had to contact Hilton Honors to find me another property with two Queens. Of course I now had to pay double the previous rate.

I’m so happy I got bumped off my American Airlines flight! This place is ahhhmazing! Beautiful pool and rooms.

Spacious Hotel, Amazing Cookies! This hotel is very spacious, it is ideal for business meetings and conventions. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the workout center was spacious and spread out. The outdoor-style set-up made it a fun place to walk around or catch some sun by the pool. Great location, accessible to all of Tempe and near the rail. Staff was courteous and weren’t shy about offering you a second cookie upon check-in…Which, by the way, the cookies they give you…WOW! SO SO GOOD! I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Absolute favorite Hilton Hotel coast to coast. Stayed here at least once a month the last quarter of 2019! Thanks everyone for a wonderful place to stay. Jason is our favorite server in the bar. We will miss you until our next time.

My room w/Dbl Queens is good size. Hotel is in need of an update but it is nice and is taken care of. Staff is all very pleasant and accommodating. The property has separate buildings and when I was looking for my room upon my arrival a team member asked me if I required assistance and he gladly helped find my building that room was located. Very much appreciated.

Wow. Let's live n learn. Major construction started at 759am, concrete saws, hammer drills, no sleeping in at this hotel! At check-in no one mentioned construction and they gave us a room right in the middle of it all. I expected better from a Hilton property! Avoid.

We stayed here for a night because our flight was delayed from Florida and we missed our connection. The shuttle was very prompt to pick us up which was great and the hotel was really nice. The continental breakfast in the morning was fantastic and they even had lots of gluten-free options for my wife who has celiac. I'd definitely stay here again!

We have stayed at this property numerous times during the years our daughter attended ASU. The staff is gracious and accommodating, the rooms are spacious and the AC is cold, the grounds are well maintained and the pool setting is relaxing. The breakfast buffet is delicious and the bartenders are friendly. While this hotel certainly isn’t a resort, it is a solid choice for a comfortable stay in Tempe!

Maybe it's because I wasn't expecting much after thinking I wouldn't be getting much… But I had such a good stay! They made my family and me feel so welcome and taken care of, especially after such a long day. Our flight had been delayed from Dallas by 5 hours, so we missed our next flight out of Phoenix. We got a voucher to stay here, so I can't say much for the cost and the value of money spent. We were immediately given a warm welcome, and our needs were taken care of. They have great customer service. We were able to get a shuttle to and from the store and the airport. The restaurant was great — treated us so well, and we got so much food! The rooms were clean and nice, and the hotel was very nice. If I come back to stay in Tempe or Phoenix, this will likely be the place I choose.

This is my hotel of choice when coming to visit my ASU students. The room is always clean and comfortable, the staff is always kind and accommodating. Breakfast is always good and Pauline (waitress) always takes such good care of us. As an added bonus, this hotel is designed in Frank Lloyd Wright style, which I love. The attention to the detail in this style is simply beautiful and makes the hotel extremely interesting to walk through. In my opinion, this hotel is a secret little gem that I enjoy staying at when I visit my SunDevils!

Very nice room. It was in Arizona in mid June. The room was nice and cool — plenty of AC capacity available. My only complaints are two and they are minor. The power receptacles for my charger were not a tight fit so I wondered how well my phone would charge. It seemed to do just fine even though the connection was loose. I gave this feedback to the front desk when I went to check out and they said it's on their list of things to upgrade. The other thing is that the toilet in my room was not a low flow toilet and since they are in a drought it would make sense to change to low flow. On the other hand, my room and breakfast were complimentary to me because my airline had cancelled a leg of my flight and these were steps taken to try to make it up to me. I had a very nice and comfortable stay!

Such a great place! Great people, free and very nice shuttle, clean updated rooms. Great outside lounge areas. Beautiful conference facilities. Overall, wonderful stay. I will stay here again the next time I’m in the area!

I had an outstanding stay at the Tempe Doubletree! Received extraordinarily helpful assistance from Crystal at the check in desk. I had made a mistake calling the free shuttle bus and she immediately refunded my taxi fee. My room was excellent. Free coffee made my long conference much better. I received very good tips on local restaurants and bars for the shuttle driver, Ray. Outstanding staff all around! All very friendly and helpful!

The rooms were neat and very cleaned, If you ordered room service they called you to confirm that you did. The rooms were nice and big one room has 2 queen beds with 4 pillows on each. Another room king size bed. The hotel makes sure it changes the mattress so you were not sleeping on a dip in the bed.

Nice rooms with a touch of southwest flair. Hotel hard structures are starting to look a little dated, but well kept. Lobby is dark but staff is bright. Only here for one night, didn't have time to check out the other amenities.

I stayed here for a work-related conference. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The food is great and the staff are very helpful. The small touches (cookies, water at check in, etc) really make this a nice place to stay, especially for business travel.

Enjoyed my stay even though it was due to a funeral. The only complaint I really have is the maids need to make sure when they're making the bed that the tree stuff don't get on their sheets. I drink a lot of tea in the afternoon and they didn't refill the tea or add more sugar. But they do have some delicious warm cookies for you all day long, and all the free bottled water you can drink. Nice pool nice Spa great staff.

Location was great, easy to find. The event hall/conference room was large and spacious and the dinner service was quick and very helpful!

Room was nice but you can hear your neighbors. Service on grounds were excellent but in restaurant was average. Grounds seemed a bit old and felt unkept for a Double Tree even though it was very clean. The convention staff are wonderful.

This hotel is not one building but more of a complex, where every door opens to the outdoors rather than to a hallway. It's also only two stories. It's big and the restaurant on site is great. I will stay here again for sure.

What a great stay, would recommend this hotel! We stayed 3 days over a busy weekend and had a great experience. Breakfast buffet had great selection, service was great. We had a couple of small issues and they were Made Right quickly. Love the location and atmosphere! A+ staff, great customer service!

Nice property. Free parking. Staff is great. Restaurant for breakfast is good. My room was fine. Easy on and off Route 10. Now the bad. Loud screaming kids running around till past 11 pm. Paper thin walls. Very noisy. Plumbing is soooo noisy in adjacent room.

We come to the phx area a lot for different shows and events, and as a gold member we use Hilton resorts all over Tempe and Chandler often. We have never had a bad stay at one of the hotels, but this was one of the best experiences so far at a Hilton. The staff was very attentive and helpful, room was spacious, clean, and nice, and the food and drinks at the bar and restaurant were wonderful. If possible we will be staying here as much as possible when coming to phx.

Because the flight I took earlier was delayed with mechanical problems I missed my connecting flight. So they put me in a Double tree for the night. Which was way cool if you ask me. Very friendly staff. Rooms are big roomy. Refrigerator, no micro wave tho. Very clean, and theres a Great little restrant. Prime rib yummy for my tummy.

Amazing customer service from start to finish! I made a reservation on the app, but was contacted in advance on our needs, which were followed through. The staff was warm and welcoming, definitely accommodating. It's rare to find a good customer service team these days and I'll be sure to stay here again next time I need a hotel in Phoenix. Also, the shuttle was awesome, on time and took the hassle out of getting to the airport. Thank you!

For only a three-star property, this Double Tree deserves more because of their excellent service. Beds are comfortable. However, if you use a memory foam pillow regularly, be sure to bring it because their feather pillows are really fluffy and less firm. Staff are generous and eager to make your stay comfortable.

While this hotel is a 3-Star property, it is deserving of more, hence my 5-Star Google Review rating. Specifically, this property cultivates a culture of exceeding expectations. For example, not only do they give the traditional warm cookies that are synonymous with Double Tree properties, but they also make available gluten-free cookies; they provide complimentary bottled waters, toiletries, etc. ; everyone is willing to step out of their role to help guests feel closer to being "home". I also enjoyed their heated o-zone pools (i. E. Chlorine alternative) ; be sure to checkout the small water feature in the main pool because it shoots warmer water than the pool. The gym lacks many machines but makes up for it with plenty of free weights, which I personally prefer. The beds are comfortable and clean. Overall, we will definitely stay here again when visiting Tempe.

Our company holds the annual Christmas party here last 5 years. They offer great rates for rooms & always go above & beyond for the decor. It's why we come back every year!

Everything was great at Doubletree. From the cookies, to the breakfast, to the comfort of the room, to the pool. I was only there for one night but of the several similar chain hotels on my trip, this was the most enjoyable.

Love this place. Quiet. Staff and the visitors are all very friendly. Reminds me of a time when hotels were actual built well and the standards were always high. Still is here!

The conference center was amazing. It had adequate room for a large work party. The breakfast was amazing, I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Phoenix. Also great for large conference meetings.

I ended up having to stay here when a layover caused me to miss my connection to SLC. I was very stressed and tired by the time I arrived. I'm thankful that they had a shuttle from the airport. The driver was friendly, and so we're the rest of the staff at the hotel. They made me feel better. I recommend staying here if you can.

Staff have been nice and attentive. Only down side is small but enough to justify a 4 instead of a 5. Signage around the outside of the hotel is poor. I had to do a circle around the hotel to determine where the front desk was so I could check in. I ordered pancakes at breakfast and that took 20 minutes because the cook "messed" them up.

The room was clean, beds were comfortable, staff were friendly & helpful, and I could afford to stay here, plus there were economical restaurants in the area. For these reasons, this is my second pleasant stay here this year. I have not been disappointed.

You can access I-10, US-60, and many other major roads quickly and easily. I routinely attend events here and it's about as easy as any hotel to find. Sometimes, it's thinly staffed, leading to wait times for service. That said, most of the employees I've interacted with were very agreeable and provided whatever hello I needed. Although I haven't seen the hotel rooms, the lobby is small and can become loud with just a few groups speaking amongst themselves. On the positive side, it's easy to find someone if they're waiting in the lobby or outdoors.

I stayed here with an airlines voucher after missing a flight connection in Phoenix. The hotel seemed very familiar with the airlines and immediately gave us a room and a breakfast voucher. It has the typical amenities of a Hilton: small gym (used it — — treadmills, elliptical, free weights), breakfast, cable, pool. Staff was alert and helpful at early hours. I don't plan on staying there again as a destination, but it was a nice place to be on a layover.

Was sent to Double Tree after our flight out of Phoenix was cancelled. The employees were very kind and got us taken care of after a 3 hour shuffle with the airlines. They got us check in quickly, offered my family warm cookies, and got us a crib for our infant in good time. (This was near midnight too). Les was especially helpful and was a great guy.

Had a company conference meeting. Approx. 300 employees with new leadership attended. IT audio and video service was amazing from Doubletree Hilton. Snacks, water and seating all provided as was hook ups for presentation. Absolutely the best IT service I have seen in a long time. Met our needs and stayed to make sure we never experienced any problems. Would definitely recommend the setting if tour organization wants to hold a large employee meeting with leadership team.

Rooms are nicer than I expected. Upon arrival I was switched from a King room to a two queen room but the front desk host failed to mention it was an adjoining room. Luckily my neighbor wasn't too loud, the fan drowned out their TV just fine at night. Only other complaint would be that the doors to the rooms open to the outside. However, it's a quiet part of town and there always seemed to be a member of the hotel staff walking around outside so it seems safe enough. I would probably stay here again.

This was a very nice property, rooms were very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. Wish I had more time to try the pool because it looked very nice as well. Shuttle service to the airport was great as well.

Check-in process was simple, the room was clean and cool (important in Arizona! ). There's a breakfast restaurant and separate dinner restaurant as well, both have good food and reasonable prices.

It's located right off the freeway. I was there for a professional seminar and I live in town so I didn't need a room. We ate lunch at the restaurant and it was ok. My taco bowl was overcooked and the menu selection was limited. A taco bowl without meat $12 is a little overpriced. The service was ok. The seminar was held in the Redrock room and it was nice and tidy. The tables seem to be flimsy and the chairs were uncomfortable to sit in for six hours. All in all it was just okay.

I stayed at this property a couple of month ago with family and the overall hotel is great! I had a great stay from the shuttle service to the front desk staff all are amazing. I was at the hotel when the group below was also staying and I must say I never had a problem with management they actually were very helpful during my stay. Whatever group was staying parents did not have control over kids. Great hotel!

Comfortable and clean with good staff, but the building is old and has some maintenance issues that haven't gotten appropriate attention. My room had a decidedly funky smell. This was probably a mildew issue; the bathroom had no fan and there was fairly severe water damage over the tub. A square tile had been hastily placed over most of the damage, but it didn't cover the whole affected area and appeared to be working on falling off the ceiling into the tub. Other than that, quite clean and nice. My bed was comfy and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The courtyard was clean and nice to sit out in. Hopefully they get around to the building updates that need to be done.

This is a Motel (no interior corridor), not a Motel. Wasn't aware of this when selecting this place but that's on me for not verifying. The staff is nice and friendly. The establishment itself is dated and due for some much needed upgrades. Rough towels and lower end amenities (example: the door handle came off the bathroom door when I tried to open it). Delicious cookies on check in though.

The hotel facility was great including the outdoor feel that goes along with the warm temperatures in Phoenix. However, management at this hotel were very disrespectful and unprofessional. The management, specifically the front office manager, was very rude to guets including children of all ages and their parents. In general, great facility, but the management ruined my stay completely.

Would be happy to say more, but will not out of respect for the future guests of the hotel in the hopes that they will not have to interact with any of the management of the hotel during their stay and as a result of not spending one minute talking to management they will have a great stay in the lovely pool and the outdoor feel to the hotel. You will notice the copied and pasted reply to many reviews that have been left recently. It shows the GM does not actually care about his guests nor valid concerns brought up by everyone involved. I truly hope corporate sees the reviews. Thank you.

The manger at this hotel was awful and made my stay here terrible. He took a large room away from us, a large group of people who paid to use it. He was also very disrespectful to kids and their parents constantly. I wouldn't even give this awful hotel one star. The manager was horrible. Not to mention, but every time I walked into my room it smelt like sewage. I would rather stay at the Motel 6 across the street.

First off the manager is very rude to kids and adults. He kicked one of my teammates on my hockey team out of the hotel. He insulted my friends to parents. He kicked us out of our knee hockey room even though we rented the room. He did this because we were "distracting" the Scrabble Club. We asked members of the Scrabble Club if we were "distracting" them, and they said no. He is now threatening to kick out 3 hockey teams. Including parents and coaches. I would never stay at this hotel even if I was paid to. Also I would give this hotel 0 stars if I was able to. In conclusion the hotel is nice except for customer service. The manager isn't setting a good example.

First when I walked in I asked for a cookie and I was with the manager checking in and he said he had the last one. It shows trust me. He looks like a stupid blueberry. The security guard kicked me out of the hot tub for jumping in. The security guard looks likes a mountain man. The room service walked in on me changing when I was out of the shower. That was very weird. This place is like a prison. There is trash everywhere. this place is trash!

My stay at this hotel has been extremely pleasant! The rooms overlooking the pool have an awesome view with several palm trees and a great atmosphere. The staff has been superb. I will definitely be staying here each time I am in town on business.

Good staff, clean room, nice grounds and last but not least, the awesome shuttle drivers! They take you and pick you up anywhere within 5 miles with a great attitude and each driver added something like taking us to the best liquor store to helping me with my pose so I looked good in my picture haha! Loved it!

Due to the death of my husbands younger brother he came to Tempe Az and has been here since 9/18/2015 he is currently staying at your Double Tree 2100 S Priest Drive Les the night auditor at the Double Tree took the time and explained to the benefits and features of the Honors program so we join he is retired and I am going to next year and we plan on traveling a lot we are so impressed we am planing my brothers Life Celebration at this Double Tree. The staff at this Hilton has treated my husband extremely well this Double tree is very close to the brothers house which is being renovated my husband has been very alone for over 3 weeks the people at this property has become family I do not think my husband could have made it without them. We are so grateful for the personal support and comfort. We will be flying back and forth during probate Due to the circumstances he was upgraded to a fantastic rewards room. Regardless we will always stay at a Hilton property's in our travels thank you for treating us so well.

We were stuck here due to canceled flights. The customer service was nice. The room started with a mild mildew smell but over the evening it became much worse. Speaking with other guests it wasn't just ours.

We had a wedding at this Hotel and had about 20 rooms reserved for our Guests (more of less), The wedding was great, the servers and banquet managers and staff did a great Job, HOWEVER — the Hotel Side was very disappointing and embarrassing for us to have our quests stay there. I personally had a a terrible experience in our room, The shower was BAD, clogged plumbing, showing in 2 inches of standing water, and the A/C was the worse I have experienced, Very loud and temperature of the room was either hot when a/c was off, or cold and loud when on. Just horrible. The worse thing was that I was hoping I was the only one experiencing this, But I was wrong. In the morning I was very embarrassed to hear most of our guests mention the same problems. We mentioned these issues to the managers, and they said will take it to upper management. Later they email me saying that the upper management will be making it right by offering us something. But it's been over a month, and No work from them. That is not a good way to treat a customer who spent thousands of dollars on a weekend there. Overall: People are Great, good service as people, managers that we see were good and helpful, but the upper management did nothing to help not did they offer anything to make up for the bad experience. I have other family weddings coming up in the next few months, although this is a great central location, but I will not be taking a chance again.

I was stranded in Phoenix after a missed flight connection. They got me checked in very quickly. The room was comfortable and there was a nice breakfast buffet in the morning. The staff were all helpful, accomodating, and welcoming.

I was a bit surprised at first as the rooms all face a central exterior ring, as opposed to a hallway. But it turned out that was much more pleasant. It was landscaped well, birds were singing and the shade provided a nice environment. The service was OUTSTANDING. On the rare occasion something wasn't 100%, they went over the top to make it right. Food service for our conference was very good, there were even some unique sandwich items that were quite nice. Would stay there again. And again. And again.

I have stayed in this hotel several times over the past 9 months. The rooms are large and comfortable. The restaurant is more than adequate. Room service is professional. This is a Frank Lloyd Wright type structure. Whether his school in PHX area did it or not, I do not know. But unlike the box buildings that house so many new hotels, this is refreshing design, though it is from the 1960s or 1970s. Plus, they have several places outside with comfortable chairs for a pre-dinner cocktail or an after dinner drink. It is a unique hotel. I do no understand the negative reviews. Those reviewers would be far more comfortable just going to a Hampton Inn or Marriott chain.

I travel a lot, and I have stayed here about a dozen nights in 2015. I am surprised how run down this place is for a Hilton hotel. Fridge didn't work, ice machines are rusting hunks of junk (one working in the entire hotel) and the front desk doesn't know the others are out of service. Don't eat in the bar, the service is horrible. Order a double, because you will never see the bartender again after the first one. Make sure you have everything you want when they bring the meal, because you will never see the waitperson again. Food is bland and few choices. Air conditioner roars. Just a nice old hotel that the management just doesn't care about any more. Wifi is good! But I am Hilton Silver, so I think I get faster Wi-Fi than average. If it were not for the fact that I get a deal through the company I am working with in Tempe, and it is walking distance, I would stay somewhere else.

We didn't make our flight connections at 10 pm 12-30-13, We chose DoubleTree randomly. We Lucked Out! Delicious cookies, Comfortable Beds!, even a toothbrush with enough toothpaste til we caught our morning flight. They have thee best continental breakfast. Everyone was helpful and friendly, especially Carrie, Pauline and the night gentleman.

Loved staying here! Great lobby, very friendly staff, my room was clean comfortable and felt updated. Great pool area. Very easy to get to asu, mill ave, and the airport from here. The shuttle will also take you to the mall and other nearby areas. Definitely a great place to stay.

Check-in is 3pm, my room wasn't ready till after 5pm, hotel staff did nothing about it, paying for a room I don't have for 2+hours.

Place looks great from the outside and when we saw it our expectations went up but our room smells like cat pee, the carpet is worn and torn, the bathroom has paint chips hanging from the ceiling, all over it. In addition to the room being crappy our reservation says that we get a breakfast buffett but when I asked them about it they said "not for the price you paid". Regardless of the price I paid, my reservation confirmation said breakfast buffett so I expect a breakfast buffett.
