Room had good a/c which is very important here in this part of Az. If you have no where to stay this is your place. Would I recommend no but it has a bed. I don't care if rooms are outdated I do care about cleanliness. 1st room that I saw was really dirty the housekeepers need some orientation in how to clean a room properly. Eye to detail is very important. Second room was a tad cleaner than the first.
The man at the desk was wonderful. We checked in late but he still let us use the pool. The rooms are a tad bit dated and the air doesn't work great though. They were very clean despite this. Would definitely recommend for someone on a budget.

I hate to be so negative, because the family who runs this Motel is very nice, however, I have to be honest this is not a place I would stay ever again. The check-in process went very well, but I was not told when breakfast was Nor given the Wi-Fi code which I had to call and ask for. Speaking of Wi-Fi, it is not a secure Wi-Fi and it kept dropping off so I had to keep reconnecting. The room could use some freshening but was okay. I'm a smoker but even I noticed the stench of smoke smell in the room. The alarm clock was unplugged so I plugged it in and it didn't work. Housekeeping should have taken care of this instead of just unplugging it. I took it to the office and was told he would bring a new one to my room which he immediately did. The bed was king size but with only three pillows and not very good ones at that. The air conditioner worked very well considering this is Phoenix and it was still almost a hundred degrees at midnight. The room also has a microwave, refrigerator, a small safe and a decent size TV with some premium channels and a guide. When I went to the pool at 2 p. M. The gate was locked and they had to come open it for me. The pool and the area surrounding it are extremely small but I was the only one there so it was okay. The pool was also pretty dirty but I can understand dust blowing into the pool. When I went to take my bath the water came out both the shower and the faucet and there was no way to fix it so had to fill the tub very carefully.
