It's been along time since I was in Arizona specially in Phoenix. And I was very impressed with service from Holiday Inn. I was only 2 days in town for work. I wish I could stay long but I have to get back to Vegas. The rooms where pretty big very roomy and cozy. I had 2 wonderful nights after working 14 hr days. Let me tell you getting back to my hotel was the best thing the rooms where nice cold. Specially when I end up staying in the month of July during the two hottest weeks. I will be coming back for sure I had to pleasant nights. Plus I like the idea that Mc Donald's it's just across the street if you need to eat breakfast late night.

Easily located off of the 17 freeway and 51st Ave. They have plenty of free parking available. Checking in was very easy. Just sign in 3 places and give e your credit card and I was off to the room in less than 5 minutes. Rooms were clean. They came with kuerig coffee makers, a hair dryer, ironing board, flat screen TV, and small amenities like shampoo and conditioner as well as a few bar soaps and plenty of towels. They have 2 pools, a bar and a cafe. A plus for the bar was their pint of beer for $4.00 bucks. Easily located near plenty of restaurants.

Holiday Inn is my favorite. This particular location is really conveniently located & has a really cool elevator. Clean… & everyone is friendly. Enjoying my stay! Thanks.

Located right off the highway in a busy area but it's a very quiet and comfortable hotel. Easy to find and perfect to get around town from its location.

I stayed here a little over a month. Very nice rooms, restaurant has great food at reasonable prices. Michelle is the best. Great place to stay.

Very clean and quiet. I usually clean hotel rooms completely with Lysol before I even put my stuff down. I actually felt ok with just a quick clean up of the surfaces and anything that hands touch. Comfortable room. Ours had a small balcony overlooking the parking lot. 1 washer and 1 dryer available for guests to use for free! Get laundry soap from front desk for $1. Here are the negatives: no stairs from rooms to lobby, just emergency stairs that do not connect to lobby so you have to take the 1 very small, very slow, window elevator. It would be easier to use stairs. Way overpriced water, drinks and food. Luckily there is a grocery store across the street. Front desk is run by persons more concerned with gossip. But, they will get you an extra soap and shampoo after that. Pool is gross and needed skimming. And this isn't negative, but just be aware, if you don't speak Spanish, try to show housekeeping what you need, like bring a shampoo to them so they understand. They are very helpful and happy to get you what you need, just maybe not English speaking.

Great restaurant and friendly staff. Love the additional menu that isn't the typical Holdiday In menu. Both are offered but highly recommend the restaurant personal menu.

Excellent care and cleanliness of abitacion.

The hotel was very easy to find, plenty of parking and the service was excellent. The food from the restaurant was very good. No complaints about this hotel.

Comfortable bed, quiet room. Light in bathroom yellow. Hard to see to put on make up. Restaurant has great food and the kindest waitresses. Clientele is slightly sketchy.

I stay there when I'm in town for work. I highly recommend it! The staff and the restaurant workers are the best of any where! I just wish the Holiday Inn higher-ups would stop busting their balls and let them have some creative freedom over their menu! They have a wonderful Chef who can crank out a way better menu than this garbage that every holiday and pushes!

Fantastic hotel, very clean and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast was extensive, with many wonderful options. I will stay here again.

I'm having mixed feelings, now I paid $200 for a room checked in with my service dog the front desk was wonderful, helpful and polite the rooms are clean and nice. When I walked my service dog around the building I was told to exit the property because I wasn't a guest, I fault a little discriminated against because I have tattoos Native American, Mexican, African American and Irish mix I know I don't look like much but to be singled out as if I couldn't afford a room like this kinda hurt my feelings. I don't know if they want only a certain kind of people here or what? I don't know what to think but I'm not a crackhead loitering and I dont look like one either so to be talked to like I was one made me mad, sad, and hurt not to mention embarrassed.

Room was nice. Waited for 30 minutes to be seated in cafe. When seated the waitress ignored us and waited on the couple that was seated after us. Then she had a great conversation with them after she got their coffee, really bad.

Breakfast was fast and good. For dinner only order the Fish and Chips. It was good. The chicken dinner was not so good. Chicken was cold, veggies were hot.

The hotel is pretty good overall. Staff is helpful and everything is very clean and nice. Breakfast is to order only, not buffet. My only complaint is that the stairs are weirdly hard to find and don't seem to go down into the lobby — it's annoying to have to take the elevator every time to go up/down one floor.

Staff is friendly and courteous. Restaurant is surprisingly good for a hotel restaurant. Breakfast coupons were provided for me during my stay. Room is quiet and reasonably comfortable. The bathroom shower head could do with an upgrade. A cat lives somewhere near the hotel, shows up sometimes and is very friendly. That's a big plus in my book. Overall a pleasant stay. Pool and laundry services are also available.

Restaurant's food is great and staff is nice… I love to stay here when we are in this city.

I have stayed here before. Nice and clean. Rooms are modern and clean. Did not use restaurant but it looked clean. Workout room is very small. I will stay here again if I am in the area.

It is very high charging and they don't have free breakfast Unlike the other Holiday Inn.

Went to enjoy the hottub with my aunt who was staying at the hotel and the water wouldn't get even the slightest bit warm. The kitchen also closes at 9pm when the sign says the bar and grille have happy hour from 9pm-11pm.

Oh boy. I stayed here Dec 21 2017. I had left my life support (LVAD) battery bag in a cab. I left within an hour to retrieve the bag and I did not return to the hotel. I took a $124 non refundable loss and thought that was it but NO NO NO. I find $280 was deducted from my card from Holiday Inn Express. I paid the $124 on a 3rd party web. What is this bogus charge. I call them and I'm told that I smoked in a non smoking room on the balcony. I'm 33. This is why I requested a non smoking room. I don't smoke. I also have heart failure. I couldn't smoke if I wanted. I'm on the heart transplant list in Tucson U of A and UCSD in San Diego. I explain this to Vanessa at desk. She transferred me to accounting. They are closed. I call back and reach Kimberly in HR accounting the next day. (Turns out she is the only one working these matters. Omg). To shorten this up. Kimberly is overwhelmed with work since it's just her. Today Dec 28 2017 Thursday. She calls me back. They have no notes like before that claim I smoked on balcony. Someone erased them. Holiday inn's mistake. Here is the kicker. It can take up to 10 business days longer to be refunded on the same visa I used to check in. so up to 3 weeks. Nothing can be done, says kimberly. Not even a freaking coupon. Don't stay here. If any mistakes. It will take forever to be refunded. You won't even get a sorry. I support a family of 4. It's Christmas. I have bills. $280 means a lot. Thanks for nothing. Holiday inn express!

Rooms are clean, bed and pillows are comfortable. The free breakfast that you can get is quite good for free, It is all made to order. The pool spa are nice, the fitness center is quite lacking if your looking for a real gym then you'll need to go somewhere else. The location is ok, some interesting looking folks hanging around sometimes, but it does not feel unsafe at all. I would give 4 stars overall, if not for location then 5.

The good: Clean hotel with a spacious room and a comfortable bed. Ample parking and the pene pasta in the lobby restaurant was amazing. The bad: When checking in the early afternoon they were running the vacuum within 10 feet of me and the front desk where I could hardly hear the front desk staff. There's only one elevator for a relatively large hotel which can make getting to your floor a task. The early morning/late night staff was rude when I inquired about coffee because I had an early departure. I'd stay here again but there's some costumer service improvements that could be made…

A little expensive for what they offer.

Very good location.

Great customer service, great rooms, always clean. They have a shuttle that works 24hrs and transports every 30min. The only issue was, I wanted a shuttle to a club and they only operate every 30min on the dot like 1000, 1030, 1100. It was 1104pm and they said I had to wait for 1130 to use the shuttle even though the shuttle was here doing nothing. I ended up using a uber anyways. That was the only issue.

Hotel staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. The bed was very comfortable; I didn't want to get up! We had breakfast at their in-house restaurant and the service was less than impressive, however the food was great.

For the tranquility and others very safe.

Driving up there were people on the street saling water. Pulling in to the parking lot we see 2 cop cars and a group of people. Not sure what was going on there. Check in was fast. Our room is small but clean. The bath room is large and clean, shower curtain need to be changes. We thought about using the pool and hot tub but the hot tub water was not looking so clean. Next year when we go to fear farm I think we will look in to a new place to stay the night but for now it will do.

Front desk very friendly and both check in and out was quick. Room was nice though needs some tlc. Housekeeping does a good job but forgets things like ice bucket liner and such. Bed was comfortable. Not much of a view from the room.

Holiday inn was a welcome relief to the Arizona heat. It was better than my expectations. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The rooms were nice and clean.

Service checking in and checking out was accommodating and friendly. The morning restaurant waitress was excellent, and went above and beyond the level of service I've come to expect at a hotel. Overall, the staff was helpful, considerate, and cheerful. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay. The staff was friendly. The room was big and nice. Only complaint I had was there was hair left in the shower. I did let management know and they did apologize and we receive 2 free breakfast coupons. The restaurant at the hotel was good. Just the service was slow. But it is a hotel and not a restaurant. And the convenience of not having to go out into the heat is great. We were there for my brothers funeral and reserved several rooms and they where great and accommodated us when I asked to put us as close together as possible. Overall I would stay there again if I ever had to travel that way again.

Great hotel overall. They have a nice bar with good beer and good food. The building itself is pretty old, and it shows its agree with outdated furniture and faded colors, however they keep out exceptionally clean. The staff is great and very friendly. The gym is tiny with a treadmill, bike, elliptical, and some free weights. The treadmill is nice, but the elliptical is half-size and didn't give me the range of motion I wanted to get a good exercise in on it. Overall great value based on price and amenities.

I requested a king suite, but received a room that reeked of piss and the towels were dirty. It seemed as if the hotel recently underwent a cheap renovation. Shortly after checking in (30 minutes later), I quickly checked out but the hotel decided they would refund half the charged amount and process the other half. Even after handling the issue with customer relations, the Holiday Inn management refused to refund the remaining amount. So I am completely disgusted with my time in Phoenix, Arizona. I assumed the people there were honest and it would be a great place to visit while traveling from the east coast to the west coast, but I was wrong. This situation presents the question of how many customers has this hotel management tried to hoodwink.

Room was clean and way better than the Super 8 on bell rd. Definitely a good deal. Neighborhood was ghetto but the property looked groomed and clean. That is a bigger for me. So I recommend this place to the weary traveler.

Sleazy neighborhood. Nice staff. Good value for the money. I wouldn't recommend walking off property at night or parking a nice car here.

Very clean friendly staff.

This place is horrible I called for blakets n they said no housekeeping was there so I said ok I still need blankets though thy gave me sheets n no blankets which I hadto go dowm n get myself.

Value for my money accommodation. They delivered what they promised and everything was very affordable. I am pleased with their services.

Very good service. Oh not mention we arrived 4am and they let's us check two. Very happy with this place.
