The General Manager, Laura made me feel very uncomfortable. In all my years of going to Best Western, she's the only one that has ever asked me for my government ID, which, by the way, I do have one. She came to look to see what I was doing, what I had in my hands, especially when It came to breakfast or leaving the hotel, or coming into the hotel. She came outside to look at the things I had on the luggage cart when I was packing my car and questioned me "are you taking our ice bucket? " I had just got some ice and was going to return it when I checked out. While inside, she complained that people always take them and they have to order more. I felt she was very unprofessional. She was fake. I did not feel the warmth welcoming I get when I walk into a Best Western Hotel. After, I paid in cash for my days staying there, my credit card was charged $30 with no explanation. I had to call my bank to dispute the charge. Another unnecessary thing I had to do because Laura charged my card extra. I stayed at this Best Western Hotel last year and she was not there because I did not feel, like I felt this time. The rest of the staff was more professional and courteous than she was. If she is there next year, I will not be staying there. It's because of her attitude and character that I did not give this hotel a stronger recommendation. The other receptionists were very friendly and courteous and with a welcoming smile. The housekeepers and grounds men were very nice too! You have some great workers but, Laura needs some people skills or something.
