There were cigarette burns on the comforter. The water from tge sink squirted all over the counter. One of the cleaning ladies was fighting with the manager right outside my room 1st thing in the a. M.

Great location breakfast not worth anything.

I stayed at this hotel one weekend with my husband and two kids. I haven't stayed at a Days Inn in many years. I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. Nice, clean and comfortable for our short stay. The room was cleaner and nicer than some more expensive hotels I have stayed at in the past.

We're regulars — been going for many years. Staff is great. One of the janitor guys is friends with my Dad now. Rooms are clean. Well, except for the lingering evidence of cigarettes in the carpets on the first floor. Those rooms used to be smoking rooms, but they have since banned smoking in all rooms. They just haven't shampooed the carpets. It's a great place though, and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Tuscaloosa.

Rooms were very nice. Hotel has security gates, so safe parking. However, for the price the breakfast was pretty skimpy.

Sucks. Has direct-tv that drops signal constantly. One minute of TV ten minutes rebooting. If you like to watch TV don't stay here.

There was a used towel on the back of our door which I guessed the cleaning ladies missed, and a cigarette burn on the blanket which looked pretty old. And the bathroom light kinda flickered, but other than that it's a great hotel. It's quiet, it's comfy, the staff was kind. Good hotel.

Great customer service, great room, clean, and fresh. Housekeeping was friendly, great prices, I recommend this place for a nice, comfortable, place to stay in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Clean but right in between KFC drive through and WalMart. Across from vacant shopping center. Security Gate was not closed the entire weekend and kind of dangerous leaving through the exit gate — really hard to see oncoming traffic. Staff was friendly. None of the food for breakfast was whole or real. Same as almost everywhere in Tuscaloosa though.

Stains on the comforter, I think it was fairly clean otherwise. While making a reservation on the phone they tried to get me to talk about a “discount” vacation twice. Outdoor room entry. Beds are average. TV is nice. It’s a Day’s Inn what do you expect? Ha!

The wife and I were traveling from New Orleans to Elizabethtown, KY. We decided to stop half way and rest for the night. We didn't have reservations since this was a last minute decision. We read a few reviews and decided to give this place a try. We were not disappointed. They gave me a Military discount which helped. The room was under $100 for a king bed. The room was clean and had everything we needed for a good night's rest. We will stay here again if needed.

Driving back from our daughter Shara's house in New Jersey, to outside Of Houston, TX, we Needed a place to Sleep! We stayed at this Days Inn & Suites. The bed & pillows were both very Comfortable!

I love the location, the rooms are cozy and not too pricey, and there are places to eat within walking distance. Wal-Mart and Sam's Club are right outside the gate, KFC next door, and if you drink, there's a liquor store on the other side of KFC. Therefore if you've been drinking already and desire more, you don't have to get a DUI!

The room was clean, smelled good, the towels were soft, and breakfast was delicious. The personnel was very kind. Will definitely stay again. The price is excellent.

It was a clean room. And breakfast was good. Easy to get in and out of.

Very nice! Only problem when time for a shower water turned cold in a few seconds.

Clean, comfortable, and quiet room. Beds were firm, though. The TV was a large flat screen with a great picture. A KFC was next door and a Logan's steakhouse was within walking distance. Hot, fresh breakfast buffet was more than I expected. It was very good and the staff was polite and helpful. There's an exercise room but no pool or hot tub. That was fine with me since I was only staying one night. I drive a semi so I picked them because they have big truck parking. I will definitely consider coming back there if I need a place in Tuscaloosa to stay again.

Great stay, rolled in after midnight, friendly service and a clean room. The room appeared to be recently remodeled.

Rooms were very nice with great amenities if it weren't for the occasional disruption by the staff it would have been an excellent stay!

Room was affordable and a value for what you pay. This room was clean and smelled fresh when we entered. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Ask for Fred he's a nice guy and can get you hip to some good eats and hot spots around town. It's close to food entertainment shopping whatever you need. I gotta say I'm from Texas and have stayed in Days Inns in Arizona New Mexico Tennessee and Ohio and this is the best one I've been to hands down.

Room was dirty. Bathroom was still dirty. Carpet looked like it hasn't been vacuumed in a while. Bed spread looked like a cig had been put out on it.

Room on 7/29/16 — Room was dirty, debris on the carpet like it hadn't vaccumed or done poorly, hair on the sheets of the made bed, hair on the bathroom floor, holes and melted spots in the comforters of both beds, GIANT roach running around on the sidewalk outside the door, small frog inside our room that accidentally got stepped on coming in to the room, obvious smell of marijuana use from other rooms walking to our room after dinner, shower curtain rod was hung so the shower curtain constantly slides to the middle while getting water everywhere in the bathroom, pillows were lumpy from obvious washing. Parking lot was well lit and secure, easy access to shopping and dining and attractions were the only positives.

I guess I was given a back up room. You could tell it hadn't been occupied for quite some times since the appliances and the TV was Un plugged. Carpet needed a serious steam clean as my socks turned black for walking on it. I was expecting better because of the reviews.

Night attendant was sleeping. Had to knock on the glass to wake him up. Save money, same rooms near 359 for a lot less.

My boyfriend is a truck driver. I am always looking for places for him to stay. They have semi truck parking and the room was comfortable.

One of the cheaper hotels in Tuscaloosa, but you get a lot for your money. Nice rooms, gated/fenced premises, great breakfast bar, and friendly staff. Will stay here again for sure.

Room very nice and updated. Best internet at any hotel I've ever stayed at. Only complaint was coffee not available all day.

The location was hard to get in and out of by car (it's in sort of a weird spot between intersections), but it is very close to shopping on McFarland. The room was beautiful. It was a single queen room with a love seat. It was very clean and cute.

Quiet stay. Only stayed one night. Breakfast was nice, decent and staff was very nice, friendly and pleasant.

Entire property gated one way in one way out. With shopping and dining so prevalent, entering and exiting the entire compound through one door was unsettling. Rooms clean, Wi Fi in the 117-124 was poor/weak. Front desk could not resolve internet problems.

The hotel was very easy to find. Right off the highway and the same parking lot as a Walmart which is very convenient. Front desk staff was nice and helpful and the rooms were clean and well-maintained. Flat screen TVs are always a plus. The hotel makes you feel safe since it is gated all the way around.

This is a nice, CLEAN hotel. I stayed there one Friday night in March and came back up on the next Friday night with my two kids. The kids loved it. Probably because of the indoor heated pool and they haven't been swimming since summer. The pool was small, but it was perfect for my 4 and 7 year. I had no problems whatsover with the staff. James there was very nice and friendly. The other two ladies I saw at counter were nice as well. I plan on staying here again when I have to travel back up that way again. My main thing it was a clean hotel and it had a SUPER little refrigerator, coffee maker, iron, microwave in room. I did not give this a 5 star only because my last night there, I was waken by some dummy going down the street playing loud music. Also, I did hear large trucks on I-20. But, it was not too bad with the trucks. Keep in mind I-20 is close by.
