Great service. The only thing for me was they always ran out of bananas (lol).

We stayed 4 nights. Staff was extremely nice but the atmosphere was not. As soon as we got out of our cars the smoke hit us in the face, There were guys all day every day around the pool and front of hotel drinking and smoking our entire trip. For a smoke free Facility the entire hotel smelled of smoke and old cigars. They should make a designated smoking area and not by the entrance to the hotel or in the pool area. Pool was ice cold and there were no shade anywhere but kinda expect that with being outside. BEST BREAKFAST EVER the lady was EXTREMLY NICE and helpful with my kids and really seems to Love her job what an absolute JOY it was to see her every morning! House keeping was all extremely nice and helpful all weekend also only problem was 7:30am banged on our door screaming housekeeping and opend the door to come on in. If I wouldn't have had the top latch on she would have just walked on in to our room. Check out isn't until 12… We all were trying to sleep. All in all its a great hotel that needs some changes put in place and we will go back if those are done.

The check-in lady at front desk was rude and the air conditioning unit would not go below 72 degrees but I did feel safe and the room was clean. They were also reasonably priced:

Biggest sh*thole in Tuscaloosa. Do not prepay via Google/Last Minute Travel unless you want to pay double. Dirty rooms. Rude staff. Weird smells.

This hotel has a very friendly staff, room was clean and very comfortable, breakfast was amazing with a lot of choice. Ironic it’s called “Country Inn” because it sure gives off that country, warm hearted/relaxed atmosphere. Thank you for an enjoyable experience. We will be back!

When I went to check in the service clerk was extremely rude and hateful.

Excellent staff members. My mother reserved a room two weeks in advance for moving out and into my new apartment. I highly recommend signing up as a club raddison member it’s free and they upgraded us to a larger king suite instead of the normal size. We had many unforeseen obstacles that kept us from being able to check out on the day we were supposed to be completely moved into the new place. The staff was very understanding and patient with our situation and extended our stay in the upgraded room another night at the same rate b/c we were club members.

I was just there last Friday and Saturday with my parents were there for my uncle funeral we made our reservations online and we were asked for a king suite. Amongst our arrival we were told by the young lady who was very nice at the front desk that they're all sold out we're looking like how could that be when we made reservations online! Upon arriving into the room the room smelled like mildew the carpet was filthy extremely dirty and it smelled really bad like the room had been water damaged it wasn't feasible at all my parents are up in age and didn't have anywhere else to go because all the hotels were booked the young lady at the front desk told us there wasn't any other rooms that they can put us in she was apologetic but if we're not able to stay in the room she can find something else. Then as she looked she said maybe tomorrow there will be a room available maybe. In the middle of the night I begin itching really bad and while I was sleeping the pillows were so flat you can smell the floor with mildew throughout the night I wasn't able to sleep. I did go back to the front desk where there was another young lady very young and a guy who was on the outside talking to her I explained to her the issues and she just blew me off like yeah it's written down there's nothing we can do tonight. So the the morning no one came by and said anything we were just forced to stay in that room there was no compensation we ended up receiving a bill for $288.

Very clean for the price. The continental breakfast was basic but good enough. The staff is beyond polite. I am not a fan of the coffee pot in the bathroom, and they don't have a double queen accessible room. But everything else was perfect.

Comfortable room, helpful staff, wonderful breakfast (real plates, cups & flatware! ). Close to lots of eateries and I 20 but quiet location. Should be even better once remodeling is complete.

Stayed while on a school trip. We arrived fairly late and they had parking marked for our buses and our rooms ready! Yummy cookies in the lounge — a delicious treat! Excellent hospitality and felt so welcomed. Best sleep I’ve had in a long time away from home and the breakfast was a 10+++++. Just an overall Amazing experience. Whatever they’re doing they need to keep it up.

The beds we're very comfortable. Breakfast was super. We we're in a bus and they blocked off room for us to park when we got there. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only down side was that there is not a wheelchair ramp thst I saw and the parking lot was small.

I called in to reserve us a room for the night and the lady on phone, Ms. Keangela was very nice and professional. When we got there it was the same. Quiet, clean and comfy. The air conditioner was struggling and loud. Needs to be looked into. Our stay was awesome, because Ms. Keangela had made that extra touch. Thank you for that.

Kind clean resourceful. Breakfast was awesome! The little omelette’s where really good.
A little expensive but Talledega race and a triathlon near by so there you go.

Very clean and comfortable. We had a suite and it was nice to have the separation and 2 TV's so my husband and I could watch something different if we chose to. Just like home. Lol… The young woman who checked us in was very nice and went to the trouble of looking up and finding us a nice restaurant close by. The complimentary cookies and coffee/tea were nice. The young woman who checked us out in the morning was also very nice and again offered us a complimentary breakfast bag with water, muffin and an apple to take with us. This was after a very large selection of the continental breakfast we had. Nice to have a snack on our long drive. We also were greeted and spoken to by any person who worked there. Very friendly people. We already have this place marked in our phones as the place we will stay when we come back to Tuscaloosa next year. Thank you for having a wonderful and friendly staff, from the ladies at the desk, the housekeeping and even the maintenance man that went out of his way to stop and greet us. This was the true meaning of customer service. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Me and my wife checked in really late. Didn't have any reservations. Was last minute. The staff was very friendly and even assisted me with finding an ABC establishment that was still selling spirits for the night. The breakfast is good and the overall place is well kept and clean. Highly recommend this place to others.

My husband found this online as a halfway point on a road trip. It was a wonderful overnight stay. The room had 2 Queen beds, a fridge, TV and free Wi-Fi. It was quiet and just what we needed. The free breakfast offered cereal, hard-boiled eggs, biscuits and honey (my fave! ), waffle making station, toaster, individually packed blueberry muffins, a juice bar and a separate station for coffee/tea/hot cocoa. Independently owned. We typically stay in Hampton Inns and this was exactly like that. Only thing we couldn't do was swim, the outdoor pool was covered. But it's only March. Definitely recommend this hotel! Picture is view from our room.

It is very close to the interstate! This is a good thing and a bad thing. The noise level is high but you can avoid a lot of traffic by being right next to the exit if traveling.

Kathy, Denisha, and John are the absolute best! They are very professional and helpful. Denisha helped me though a very frustrating situation, when other businesses in the area wouldn't assist. I would recommend this hotel to families and professionals. The renovations are beautiful! Customer service is superb.

This has been the worst experience. It won’t let me post the videos I’ve recorded of all the noise going on over here SINCE 7 this morning! It’s ridiculous! I knocking, something banging, people arguing, kids running. Yes, woke me up with the noise. I think I would have had better luck at the 6! I will never stay here again.

Way overpriced for an old motel. It was pretty clean and breakfast ok.

Excellent room. The only thing that I was disappointed in was the shower, could not get it to turn of the hard pulse to a normal spray. The lady who took care of the breakfast room did an excellent job too.

Reasonably priced rooms right off highway. Pleasant staff and rooms nice and clean. We were there for an event at the university, and it only takes a minute to get there. Will stay again.

Rooms are nice. But the hallways, elevator are hot. The staff is very friendly and the property is convenient to all major sites including the University of Alabama.

The double room given was used and not clean. We were given another room down the hall. Housekeeping came in our room even though our do not disturb sign was up. At least they have a good attitude.

They have pinched pennies renovating a apparent foreclosed property. • room smells (rm 120) • old paint has been spot touched up • fixtures were old and loose • breakfast eggs were nasty, potatoes were freezer burned¡ • new toilet seat lid may crack (very flimsy plastic) if sat on. Over priced to say the least¡

This is a great hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious, the front desk staff was very accommodating with our late checkin. We paid a little over $200 for adjoining rooms to accommodate my family. The reason I'm giving three stars instead of five is because of the housekeepers. We checked in late and requested late check out. Starting very early (before 8am) in the morning, housekeeping woke us up FIVE FREAKING TIMES. It did not matter when we told them we were staying late, they just kept knocking every half hour until we finally just gave up and checked out early (before noon). All the clerk could do was constantly repeat "I'm sorry". It's going to be a long day driving back to Mobile on very little little sleep. With all the choices available in Tuscaloosa, I don't think I would stay here again.

Checked in at 12am and service was quick and easy. Stayed in a suite with a jacuzzi tub and it was well worth the dollar. The pillows are RIDICULOUS COMFY. A/C blew very cold, so needless to say it was near perfect.

First and foremost we will never book through Expedia again. When we got to the hotel to check in apparently the credit card that Expedia was supposed to of sent over was getting declined. I called Expedia to get it situated while my wife was dealing with our sleepy children. After no avail with them my wife called. With no help from them on her end Michael called Expedia and let them know what was going on. I was on the phone with Expedia for about 20 minutes waiting for them to send over another card to use. When Michael said that he would cancel the reservation with Expedia and book us the room with the hotel. It took about 30 seconds for him to cancel the reservation with Expedia and have us in the room that we wanted for a cheaper price than Expedia. This is what true amazing customer service is all about, keeping your guest happy and that's just what this young man done. He made a stressful situation into a position situation. This young man is the reason why we are now Club Carlson members. If he had this much gratitude for just helping a guest out then that's what we want when we walk into a hotel. Michael and the whole team at Country Inn and Suites are truly one of a kind.

In the Military with an unclear plan. They worked with me and my crew constantly and showed outstanding attitudes no matter how ridiculous this trip got. The ladies at the front desk were always willing to help. I'm actually going to miss staying here.

Stayed here for 1 night, family of 3 on a road trip. Such a quaint and friendly hotel — feels like a country Inn. Clean rooms, friendly staff and a really good breakfast included with the rate. We just loved this little country haven on our way home to Canada. Wonderful and restful place for a break.

A pretty nice park. Particular groups of people are quite rude and entitled. I love this place, the rides were Awesome and the water park was just as fun. Really awesome. Too great parks for the cheap price. The rides were so much fun. They were scary like every thrill ride should be. It’s fun all people young old any age.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for our anniversary in the romance suite and it was great. Jacuzzi was a little small but everything else was wonderful.

Great folks that go out of their way for you! Rooms are comfortable and I always stay here when I am in Tuscaloosa.
