I had to stay in Mobile over night and my budget was limited. I looked all around for hours for an affordable to me hotel to get a good night sleep. I drove by most of the lower priced hotels and was disappointed by how shady they seemed. I came across super 8 and it was not shady at all. The room was with in my budget. I had a pleasant stay. Got the sleep I needed in a clean cool room. Bathroom was clean the room had no smell. It was a good experience. Good clean simple breakfast too. I would stay here again at this hotel.

Beds were clean, bathroom was not. Bed was comfortable, but pillows were too soft and flat. There was an almost 2" gap under the door, I had to fold 2 towels to stuff it to keep things and light out.

I like this place. There's a young couple that has taken over running this motel. Not sure if they own it, but, somebody is putting a lot of money in remodeling. This is my 2nd time here and I will be back. Room was clean. Young lady at the counter was helpful and pleasant to talk with. The carpet has been removed an laminated wood has been layed down, I liked it, no foul orders. I recommend this place. Microwave and small fridge plus flat screen TV. Nice place.

Stayed 2 nights and won't go back! I was charged $74. For a single room, not the $59 as advertised. The high speed internet didn't work, the only outlet in the vanity didn't work. 1st day (Tues) they were open at 5:00am to get coffee & breakfast but day 2 (We'd. ) (different worker) wouldn't even look up at the locked door from what she was doing, at 5:30. The bed was very comfortable minus the cigarette burns in the sheets and blanket, and was the only reason I stayed a second night. When I was asked how much he had charged me the previous night I knew something was wrong… Shouldn't he kno how much the rooms are if he's being legit?

I really like the hotel. The rooms are great, peaceful and quiet. The service is great. Most if all the staff is very very nice and friendly. Great rates are also a 5 star. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Price gouged during hurricane irma evacuation. Never acceptable. How do I know? We got a nicer room across the street at the holiday inn express for 1/3 the price. The guy at super 8 lied and said the was no vacancy anywhere for 6 hours.

The only reason I marked one star is because it makes you to write a review! This is the most disgusting hotel I have ever been in! When we first walked in the room, the room smelled so bad! There were cigarette butts in the nightstand drawer, hair on the sheets and pillowcases, water or some kind of liquid in the trash can, and the floors were slimy! Also, the room did NOT have smoke alarms plugged in, the wires were pulled out of the wall and the cover was in top of the microwave. I went to the front desk to let them know that our room was disgusting, and the lady at the front desk told me that they don't have anyone there to clean the rooms and offered to give me sheets and cleaning supplies to clean the room?! After I told her that is not happening, she gave me keys to another room. We went into this room and yet again, beds had hair in them, Bathtub was full of hair and dirt, smelled nasty, and floors were dirty, and the smoke alarm did not have a cover. I strongly discourage anyone from staying in this hotel! Ever!

Room 222, It is very hard to open door, after unlocking the door you have to push it hard to open it. Room is clean and it has been refurbished. No order or strange smells. A. C. Unit fan only has low speed, the unit only cools the room, not cold.

The room I got was clean except for one of the beds had stains (barely noticeable). The lady at the front desk was nice. We checked in at 11 pm and it was nice and quiet.

Upon entering the room I realized we might be making a mistake. We killed a spider two roaches and two moths. This was probably due to the two inch Gap under the room door. I had to cover it with a towel to get a little piece of mind. We ended up sleeping on top of the covers because folding back the top blanket there were some mysterious stains and hair that didn't match any of ours. The lock on the front door looks like it's been kicked in before. The bathroom sucked. Good water pressure. But it just felt dirty. I do not recommend this hotel.

Room was dirty. Cigarette burns in comforter. Toilet kept clogging.

Went in at 9 pm and got a non smoking room when I got to my room there where four guys in front of my door smoking and drinking. I was told the room had most likely been updated but it had not been. The room had a foul smell and the walk way past my room was blocked with all the furnishings from the rooms that where being remodeled. I went back to the front desk and my money was promptly refunded. I would imagine that all issues will be resolved the the completion of the remodel but until then I would avoid.

Being clean is about all I can say for the place. Wifi not working and the staff seemed put off when told of the issue, when I finally got ahold of someone.

It was really clean, people were nice, I read the reviews, but it must be under new management, cause we have strayed a few times, we driver for schnider national, they have the biggest best parking around, really enjoyed our stay, all the times.

If I couldd give less than 1 star I would. Disgusting I wouldn't send my worst enemy here to stay.

Any positive reviews of this hotel are a blatant lie. I stay at a lot of hotels for work so I am more than a little experienced in travel/hotels. I do not hold a Super 8 to the same standard as a Hilton Garden or Hyatt. That said, this Super 8 was absolutely nasty. It smelled SO bad. There were literally cockroaches in our beds (we reserved 2 rooms). I did take pictures. Our socks were brown from the carpets. I did not see any bed bugs and didn't notice any of the cockroaches until I was bit and they were crawling on us during the night. The door did not lock. When I turned in the keys in the morning the lady at the desk asked "So how wuz it? " I didn't go into great detail but did tell her that cockroaches were in the beds. She laughed and said "y'all come again". No lie. The bathroom was disgusting. Again… I took some pictures if you're interested. I decided to go down the road a bit and my family took showers at the truck stop. I was in the military and honestly this place was worse than most of the nasty places a young sailor goes to take his date for a romp in the sack for like $25/night. The only reason we picked this hotel is because it was able to accommodate our Uhaul. I would have left but we already reserved this place in advance and it was too late to reschedule. I thought we could just rough it and grit it out. This was worse than camping. I'm not exaggerating.

A friend and I were on a road trip, we luckily got a room here. Staff was friendly, a friend brought us a beer which thankful helped us pass out. I woke the next morning and realized there was stained blood on the sheets. Was told that I would get a call from the manager, and never did. Would stay away from this place.

Hot as hell air Conditioner not working and act like they don't care.

We got there on the 3rd of july and I had 2 rooms, one was up stairs and the other one was down stairs. When my husband and I got in our room downstairs we sat on the bed and seen blood on the pillow and on the covers. My husband went to office and told then lady and she came and changed them and seen for herself there was blood and even hair in the bed. The room upstairs where my daughter and grandbaby was the air wasn't even working so we reported it and they said keep the air on 72 and no lower, and the tub was leaking around the bottom of the tub, the bed in my room had been used so much that it was bent in the middle and my husband and I was always under the other and couldn't sleep good cause of the mattress was bent in the middle. I wish I had known about this hotel before I had gotten the rooms over 2 weeks ago. I don't advice no one to get this hotel at all. Also the day we went into the office for breakfast there was the lady that changed our bed and another worker there and that lady had an attitude from hell. She was rude and treated us like we was nothing. I think the female worker that had changed our bed must have told her about the room cause she was treating us like we was nothing and had an attitude when we was asking questions about the beach. This place is not somewhere I will stay again.

Due to really bad weather we had to pull off I10 and checked into a hotel. I was very pleasantly surprised. From the very nice woman at the front desk to the newly remodeled room. The bed was comfy and the A/C worked perfect. For the price it was very good. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed there nights for a conference. One morning we got smoky towels. Requested a few minutes after check out to make sure we hadn't left anything, received a rather surely call reminding us ten minutes later that check out was at 11. Generally hotels are rather relaxed about such things, especially if you've been staying there multiple nights.

Very disappointed. Bed was uncomfortable, soft and old, no support. Tv was old, rate was waaaaay too high for the amenities. The breakfast was dry cereal and pre-packaged things and white bread. No fresh fruit. Skimpy thin towels, flat sheet (again) in place of a fitted sheet on a double sized bed, fitted sheets are cheap, WHY can't these people get fitted sheets? Will never stay here again. The front desk guy, when he was there, was pleasant enough though, and I didn't see any bugs, except for a moth in the room, which I caught and put outside. They DID have parking though for a big truck. I can give them that.

My daughter and I were traveling for a long time and when we finally found a well-priced and clean room we went for it. I found the that the people working the counter at the check-in were very helpful and nice. We had a little trouble getting the air conditioner to kick on, but we called the front desk and they offered to switch our room. The service was very good. My daughter and I have very bad asthma and we needed a non-smoking room. Most hotels say that its a non-smoking room but it has the scent of smoke. I was extremely impressed when the clerk at the check-in said that there is a fine of $200.00 if you smoke in the non-smoking room. They also have a fine if you bring a pet in a no pets room. I would stay at this hotel again.
