So sad I join on BLM, but this hotel does not honor their reservation for us, and we paid higher. This color girl sold our room to others. I pray and hope that she does not charge us full price and get cheaper room for us. It’s a time for her to pull her standard up to represent BLM, by not cheating money from other and honor their reservation. She makes other Black persons look bad! It is time to improve the wrong culture of actions, pull up our standards — prove to our world… girl!

DIRTY HOTEL! After driving for over 14 hours with 2 kids (one an infant! ) we arrive to our stop around 2:00AM. The lady at the Front Desk was super friendly and efficient with our check in but that’s about it for this place! This room cost me 15, 000 points and the beds were like rocks, the floor had clearly not been vacuumed in a hot minute, there was dust all over the place, rust in the shower, a green slime in the closet area, the clock didn’t work, the mirror had been sprayed but not wiped, and a (I kid you not) GIANT BOOGER ON THE WALL! (Not to mention the furniture and walls were scratched and busted up with no evidence of a maintenance staff! ) And I’ve got pics to back it up, too. SUPER DISAPPOINTED AND NOT AT ALL WHAT I EXPECT FROM HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS! We will not be back to this location (and we frequently make this drive).

Staff at desk wouldn’t work with me & find a solution to help me stay at the hotel for a week even though I had already booked a reservation. Simply said I cannot do this & you can just go here instead. So I went to an inn express & suites and was helped & able to stay close to where I would be working.

Great place to stay. Just make sure you have laundry detergent with you if you need to wash clothes because for 1 load of tide is $3. I don't feel it's worth the money. Hell not even a microwave in room because they want you to pay $16 for a hamburger in their restaurant lol. So I give it 5 stars only for cleaness.

Never have I been embarrassed to this degree or treated with such disregard. The regional manager Terry Quigley referred to myself and my company as “idiots”. Never again will I spend one red cent in this hotel or any other in his district. The man boasted of his salary and position in the company. Even undermining my stature. Very unprofessional. In addition to the altercation aforementioned the hotel is very dated. Several complaints have been made in regard to the poor air conditioning, the strong smell of urine in the men’s restroom adjacent to the conference rooms and the lack of food and drinks on the menu in the restraunt. Please do yourself a favor and travel on to better accommodations.

They were undergoing rennovations while I was there. The room was nice. The breakfast was okay. Don't get the eggs benediction it is way too salty. All in all it was a good night sleep. The new beds were really nice.

Our stay here was very nice. We were only here for one night before our cruise. The stay and cruise package is wonderful. Shuttle drive was about 15 minutes. The room was clean, didn't smell and the bed was very comfortable. Will use this hotel again if we return.

I arrived after midnight, with three children in tow. I received a discount, and had the ability to purchase breakfast at a huge discount. Where I would’ve paid $40 for our meal, I only had to pay $10. While at breakfast, I got to observe the hotel manager handle another customers issue. He went over and above giving her thousands of points on her account, while also taking care of the initial issue. That interaction, Caused me to want to come back to this hotel. I would recommend this hotel even in the midst of their renovations.

Nice place, but the construction was a bit of a problem. Staff was over-the-top friendly and helpful. My kids loved the pool. Breakfast was delicious, but ask if you can pay for it at check-in so you don't have to pay in the morning.

I stayed in one of their newly renovated rooms which is very nice and well worth the price I paid. The hotel has a few floors under construction but they make it very clear to you upon arrival. I didn’t hear any kind of noise while I was there so it didn’t affect my stay at all. My only complaint is that I didn’t have a refrigerator or microwave but the room was clean and staff very nice.

The bed was really comfortable. The room itself was nice and modern. The buffet breakfast was the saddest buffet I have seen in a whole, at least it was free.

They are remodeling. The employees are very nice. The rooms are a great size. They have fifteen outlets to charge devices. I really appreciated that feature. The bed is extremely comfortable. I always bring my own toiletries but they have Bath & Body Works toiletries for you to use if you forget yours. They smell delightful. The bathroom is a nice size. Everything was clean. It's right off I-10. I would definitely stay here again.

This was one of my best hotel stays ever! I travel alot for work and this place is awesome. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. They make you feel like family. The rooms are newly renovated and extremely clean. I must say everything about this hotel is top notch. The general manager, front desk staff, housekeeping are all fantastic. It was truly a wonderful stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is by far the best place to stay while in Mobile Alabama. Keep up the great work! I'll definitely be back!

The room was brand new, very nice and clean. The staff are perfect. I have stayed in this hotel for years and will continue to stay there Everytime I am in Mobile…

Great hotel for the price. 2 o'clock check out and no pet deposit. They treat you like family.

Nice place to stay. Currently being renovated. Has a restaurant and lounge. Spacious clean rooms and comfortable beds. Free Wi-Fi. Has coffee pots, refrigerators and microwaves in rooms. Outdoor pool for swimming. Exercise room to keep in shape. Close to the interstate I-10 and HWY 90.

Room sucks looks like hell an so do the elevators on top of that the bar, restaurant has poor service an poor food! Disgusting place.

It is extremely dated (old) but the bed are nice… Honestly the beds are great really nice… I think they are going to remodel soon… I didn't do any photos of the bad it had some water stains chipped paint even the shower wall was dated with small holes I didn't pay that much for the room so I really can't complain but I will say that it is a lil better than what some of the bad reviews say.

Customer service the night we checked in was very good front desk staff was very helpful we did find a leak the day we checked out and reported it in the bathroom all in all a nice day the parking lot is fenced in but I would not venture out after dark.

Staff is okay, but the rooms are pretty horrible. Dirty carpets, smells like mildew/mold. Paint was chipping, bathrooms were dingy and dirty. By far the worst holiday Inn I have stayed at.

Well they were renovating it and the floor I was on was the last floor to be done. Nothing worked the card the coffee pot. And the food was terrible. But the hospitality was.

Very nice and the free breakfast is soo good! I highly recommend the skillet! If you are going on a cruise you can leave your car here for the entire cruise. They have a shuttle service.

The outside of the building is very nice as is the lobby. You think you're about to get a great nights sleep. Once checked in and got to the room. I felt like we had to of taken a wrong turn and got transported to the worst Red Roof Inn possible. To compare. It was like being invited to someones nice house and then invited to see something in their basement and as you were walking downstairs and you hear them lock the door behind you. The smell of the rooms is nose burning its definitely urine, mold and mildew. The AC was broken in the first 2 rooms. I'm on the 3rd room now. I'm counting down the time when I can leave. Its 2:30am. 4am wakeup call and a 450 van to the airport. Tied for worst place I've ever stayed in.

I decided to try 5th Avenue for dinner and I was not disappointed. The steak was cooked to the temperature I requested and was so tender and delicious. The waitress was very accommodating when I didn't like the drink I ordered (trying something new) and brought me something different. FYI: I ordered the 10 oz plain, no whiskey sauce.

Our room felt like a sauna when we first entered. Pieces of the AC unit were laying on the floor. The shower faucet wouldn't turn off all the way so we listened to dropping water all night. The to itself was missing the drain meshing so it was just a bottomless pit to who knows where. I will never consider staying at this particular location again. Holiday Inn is normally a 4 or 5 Star location so this stay shocked me. I am sure if we weren't so tired and ready for sleep that management would have put us in another room but I really shouldn't even have to tell them that their room is falling apart.

The attendants we're very nice and hospitable but everything smelled of mildew the carpets we're ripped and they had no laundry room as it was broken. I stayed for 2 weeks and had to use a coin laundry down the road. The food was good though as well as the bar and the people working were amazing.

Made reservations to stay at this location. Was told to call the day of arrival to see if I could get an early check-in. Spoke with very unprofessional young lady named Amani (not sure if spelled correctly). She told me the rooms are to the capacity and I couldn't check in early — which is understandable. What baffled me was when she told me that it's actually going to be after 3pm before I check in and check in is at 3. I asked why after 3pm she then told me that there's a band staying there and all the rooms are filled. So I asked is check out at 3pm — she said they will probably be there to check out after three. Why? She said they have certain privileges. What? Didn't understand that as my money spends the same way as the band. She needs training on how to respond with a better rebuttal. I was a customer who travels a bit and she actually was the reason I cancelled my reservation. Needless to stay, the hotel that I typically don't use gave me outstanding customer service and he said they will always try to find a way to accommodate their guests. They were booked as well, but upon my arrival they expedited the housekeepers to get a room ready for me so I could attend my event in a timely manner! So kudos to your competitor as their customer service far exceeded what I received from your employee /establishment! Good luck on CS at this location : — (

My family and I stayed here the day before, and then the day after our cruise. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the shuttle service was a great plus. We were a large group (13), and they did everything they could to get us to our destination at the same time. The actual building, though, was another story. We booked a total of seven individual rooms, and they each had various issues. The location is currently going through renovations, and as Mobile is the closest cruiseport to us, we are likely to revisit in the future.

Love it… The staff are all awesome and just a over all great place to stay… Being displaced with your child and animals is hard enough, but this hotel has made it so much easier on us… I'm very thankful to them for this ;)

This hotel rooms were great looks like they could use a little touch up in the bathrooms. The crappy thing though is they have Satellite TV which sucks during storms. There was a strong cat urine smell in the hallway on the second floor however, they were working on correcting it. Also, there is a restaurant in this hotel in my opinion has a wonderful atmosphere but, the food leaves much to be desired. I ordered the Whiskey Steak and it was tuff and super flavorless. The fries and Cesar salad I had with the Steak were the only things tolerable of this meal.

I stay here everytime I am in town because they allow pets and have eighteen wheeler parking. However, the cruise ship patrons get priority over other guests and they act like animals. This hotel serves as a link between the hotel and cruise ship terminal. Due to that, I am considering staying at their sister hotel down the street. Or at least not staying there on a Monday when the cruise ship leaves. It really isn't the hotel's fault that some people don't know how to act. They are also renovating this hotel and I look forward to seeing the updated rooms.

The staff is awesome. The beds are soft (way soft), the bathtub has rust at the drain, the bathroom sink is attached by a strap running from front to back there is no caulk and the drain leaks straight to the floor. The little fridge is cool but not cold. The ice machines on the floors 6 out of 7 are not working, the vending machines on each floor are broken or sold out. The structure needs major work but the people are awesome.

Staff was very friendly and professional. Ceiling in our room needed some cosmetic work but room itself was comfortable and clean. Was disappointed that there was no free continental breakfast but there is a restaurant in the hotel so I understand. Nice to have a pool. Grandchildren really enjoyed it!

This hotel is like home to us. The staff always makes us feel welcome. They even welcome our pets with open arms and no fees. That's dogs AND cats. The hotel is currently under renovation but the crew isn't loud and we are never bothered by this. It just makes us excited for the new updates to come. Even now, before the upgrade, the beds are so comfortable. I sleep so well! Tons of pillows! The water pressure is fantastic. The housekeeping staff is friendly and they do a thorough job. The restaurant is great. I highly recommend the veggie burger. This is most definitely the best hotel in Tillman's Corner, in my opinion. Come here if you want to be treated like royalty.

Nice rooms. The beds and pillows were so comfortable that one of our party joked about taking them home. Staff was polite. Only complaint:$10 for a continental breakfast of donuts and juice is outrageous, but it's optional.

Stayed here for one day & the staff was very courteous & helpful. I was anticipating at least a complimentary breakfast, but unfortunately I had to pay. I should have stayed at La Quinta next door, at least they offer free breakfast especially for what I paid at Holiday Inn. This is the first Holiday Inn that I have stayed that didn't offer free breakfast. Other than that not a bad hotel. Rooms are clean, but the restroom vent didn't work causing it to fog up after my shower.

The location is very convenient, right off the interstate. For the price we paid, and the pet friendly amenities, the hotel is worth 5 stars. The rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly and attentive.

Horrible experience. After being on the road for 9 hours all me and my family wanted was to rest. Everything seemed nice until we got to our room. Nasty isn't the word, there was a Little Debbie brownie stuck to the wall above the fire alarm, hair in the bed, in the tub, and on the towels. Under the bed was disgusting, chips and wrappers everywhere. When I informed the staff she acted like it was normal and just gave us another room. In the morning I also let the manager on duty know and he just laughed and shrugged it off. Needless to say we will never stay at this establishment again.

Horrible room… the carpet was soaking wet. The walls were about to come off with so much moisture within them. The smell of mildew was so bad when we woke up. We woke up congested and with a headache. We were supposed to get a room with a king size bed and ended up in this double bed room that should not have been in service. I don't know if it was because I did my reservation online through another search provider instead of directly through Holiday Inn, but I have always reserved rooms like this for different hotel lines and have never had this kind of experience.

Staff was very accommodating for our situation. There was my wife, my son, myself, my brother in law and 1 dog. We were moving from Texas to Florida and stayed here for the night, actually the day. We were traveling with an infant so we decided to travel overnight. We made accommodations over the phone before we left Texas to arrive around 6am and stay until about 9pm the same day. The staff was more than ok with this, gave me a veterans rate and we all even got free breakfast tickets. The breakfast was a full breakfast, better than an IHOP or Dennys, and best of all it was free. We took turns sleeping and the staff was fine with us letting the little one crawl around the very large empty convention room they had. The parking lot had plenty of space for our suv and truck pulling a uhaul and plenty of room to walk the dog (no off leash area, but I also didn't expect one). Staff even let me print, scan and fax a document for free. Traveling with an infant can be stressful but the staff here def made the move less stressful. Area around the hotel is a typical southern interstate exit, has pretty much everything you need as far as gas stations, food, groceries and chain restaurants.

The staff was friendly but the rooms were a little dirty. Everything was nearby to the hotel which made things easy as I was in town for a wedding. Overall not a bad experience.

Very pleased, Mr Gerald is awesome. The room was amazing aND very spacious. Staying 3 nights. Will definitely return if all of them are like this.

Overall great! Just wish they had a restaurant that's not actually a lounge. Would prefer restaurant atmosphere not a bar.

Stayed here for 3 days on a business trip. Never have been to Mobile before. The staff was probably the friendliest group of people at any hotel I've ever been at. Plenty of well lit parking all out front of the hotel even when it's busy. Very clean rooms. Reasonably priced. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was very friendly. Gerald at the front desk greeted us with a smile every day, and he worked extremely long hours as the manager. I never saw him go home. The hotel room was well furnished but the ceiling was dirty. Other than that I had a clean room. You have to call the front desk if you want them to unlock your thermostat. Otherwise is gets very cold. I like the hotels location; near many restaurants, stores, and right off the highway. The hotel restaurant serves fresh eggs for breakfast, not the cartoned kind, and had a very good menu/ nice hostess.

Run for your dear life… I usually can adapt to anything, but this hotel is beyond hope. DIRTY LINENS, HAIR INFESTED pillowcases, water stains on ceiling, outdated bathrooms, LOUD air conditioners… I can go on, this is NOT a hotel that represents the Holiday Inn chain well. I honestly thought I was at a motel. The front desk clerk was so embarrassed to have to apologize on the behalf of this filthy mess. She was helpful. No, I don't recommend this hotel to anyone especially if you have kids… I honestly don't know how they gotten 5 stars on some of these reviews…
