"We visited Dothan for the DIXIE Youth State tournament in baseball with a group of 7/8 year old boys. Had a horrible experience. Worst customer service I have ever received. I stayed two nights. I was told a guest complained about the noise and it being too loud so they comped their room and put it on my bill. I was never called and asked about the situation they just randomly chose someone to charge an extra night to. I asked for a manager and was told he was at church. Another team member asked for a manager and was told he was on vacation. I was told the complaint about the noise was from 6 am to 10:30 am. I was asleep until 8 or 8:30 am and so was my child. While my child was still sleeping I took a shower and proceeded to get for their ball game. I then woke my child up and sent him down to eat, I followed shortly after and joined him and some other team moms. I arrived downstairs at 8:55 am and sat there talking till 10:30. When I approached the Front Desk clerk to ask about the situation I was told that there was nothing she could do THAT SHE WAS TOLD IT WAS MY ROOM AND SOMEONE HAD TO PAY THE BILL. I asked why was I not called and told to keep it down or even ask if I was indeed the one making the noise, I was told she did call my room but no one answered the phone! Gee I wonder why, because maybe I was not in my room, maybe I was downstairs having coffee and breakfast while you (Ashley) Front Desk Clerk of the year was looking right at me.

Hotel was clean and most of the staff and housekeeping were amazing however we ran into an issue here. I have three children under the age of 10 and well if you have kids you know how hard it is to keep them occupied and quiet especially in a closed small space. I did manage to get them settled at a decent hour and never got a phone call for a complaint of noise coming from our room. No one ever came up to warn me of noise, as my kids are not that bad nor were they loud. I do have respect for other people, as everyone is trying to relax in a quiet place they are spending money on. I wouldn't want to stay somewhere like that and I would be conplaining if there was consistent raquet. So I get stopped the next day on my way out and was told there was a complaint that morning and they comped the people that were staying underneath of us for the night before and it was added on our bill. Where in Earth do they do this at? They did not call us or warn us about any noise. One of the front desk women were just awful and told me there is nothing she can do. Ridiculous! Terrible way of doing business. If you have children do not stay here.

Front desk help is awesome and friendly, breakfast buffet is full course not just cereal foods. Rooms are very clean and cozy!

Clean and comfortable. Best bed and pillows besides my own. Nice complimentary items available. Competitive rates. Bathroom a bit tight but heard from Management that configuration being looked into for improvement. Close to everything!

Id say 3.5/5. Good. Rooms satisfactory. Frieldly staff. Good breakfast.

Very friendly staff, good looking rooms, bathrooms are a little small though. Check in was very easy and room was ready at requested time two hours before check in.

Nicely renovated but the walls are thin so that you here everything that's going on in someone else's room. But it's located in a convenient area.

Really comfortable room, beds, and a nice bathroom. Pretty good coffee, too. :)

Front desk friendly, only one small elevator. Indoor pool was in need of a good scrub. Has a nice outdoor patio area. Workout room was small, one treadmill. Beds were comfortable and made well. Tv remote didn't work, so used the controls on the side of tv. The lavatory was very slow to drain. The lobby, breakfast area was small.

It's a room with a bed and a desk. The bathroom had a couple of rough edges like the last renovation didn't quite have all the finishing touches put on. The smoke alarm in one of the rooms on our hall was beeping loudly for several hours with a low battery alert; we reported it three times before it got fixed. The complimentary breakfast was really nice with a big variety of options.

Breakfast was superb Benzel cozy bathrooms clean very nice all all-around even though there is not you a view its still a great place to stay.

Great little hotel in Dothan the hotel has great amenities. The bed was very comfortable and it has a large flat screen TV. The front the staff was very cordial and helpful and the breakfast was good.

Excellent experience, room is large and decorated in "not hotel furniture" but in Mid-Century Modern you would find in any upper end NYC hotel. Couple at front desk were helpful with selecting restaurant, and giving us printed driving directions. Then there's the bed/mattress which I wish was in my bedroom. Rated a. 10 for sure.

The people that work there are super nice the only reason we rated it four stars versus five stars is because the hotel is 23 years old and we expected a large suite size room or as instead it was The Standard Hotel size it has been thoroughly updated but again it is small for example in the lobby they only have 1 bathroom where I was best hotels at least have to and there was one elevator and it was very small but the amenities including breakfast were really really good the lady that was working the breakfast area was very attentive and kept Everything clean and fresh and there was plenty to eat including cheese omelets and turkey sausage and regular sausage with lots of fresh fruit oatmeal make your own waffles bread Bagels two types of yogurt cereal and orange juice apple juice and fresh water + coffee of course.

We had a reservation through Priceline for a different hotel that was incredibly disappointing. We stayed in a Fairfield through Priceline last night in another area and enjoyed it so much, we knew who to call. The desk staff set us up with a fantastic rate. Lobby comfy and pleasant, little snack store convenient. The rooms are clean and comfy. Large flatscreen TV, space for pack n plays for young children. The beds are so comfortable. Very pleased. -staying with small children.

Staff was very nice and the rooms are wonderful.

Room and Bathroom were small. Bathroom had no towel bars, toilet paper hanger not attached, toilet rocked, and shower walls were stained. Looked at 3 rooms. One rooms A/C unit still not repaired after knowing it was faulty for 2 weeks. Too costly was the reply I got when asked why it had not been fixed yet. Pool heater out of service for some time. Elevator shuttered and made a growling noise. We were originally booked to stay 4 days, but left after 1 night.

The hotel was very nice, however our room was right next to the breakfast area and we were awoken at 4 am by banging and the ice machine. Apparently that's when breakfast gets set up. Don't stay in room 104. Other than that, it was a great stay.

The rooms looked brand new! The front desk staff was so friendly & the biscuits & gravy on the breakfast bar was actually pretty good too.

Nice two bed good granite bathroom… but sink is clogged.

Bathrooms need an upgrade. Front desk was good. Lobby was good. Breakfast needs more variety. Ran out of fruit & yogurt. Parking good. OK for a soccer tournament weekend stay.
