Great view of the water & bridge!

I was pleasantly surprised with how quiet it was. Room was spacious, clean and well decorated. The kids enjoyed the pool.

I highly recommend this Hotel if ever in the Decatur Alabama area, the Staff are very friendly and accommodating, the Hospitality is top notch.

Great staff! The help was on point all around for a wedding that I done.

Our party ended up getting the last two rooms available for a Saturday night stay. The staff was exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to treat us like we were the only people in this busy hotel. They even let us park our motorcycles right by the front door under the awning so they weren't exposed out in the parking lot. The bathrooms were a little small, but everything was super clean and modern. After 350 miles of riding throughout a 9 hour day, I'm probably biased but the beds were comfy and made for a great overnight stay to rest and recharge before hitting the road again. We will certainly make this a first-choice stop for future trips in the area.

The beds are very comfortable. I love them having a Starbucks inside the hotel. It's just hard getting in and out of the hotel safely because of where it's located. The ice machine on the 2nd & 4th floors were broken.

The room was verrrrry clean and very nice. The bed was sooooo comfortable. The pillows I wanted to take home with me. Goose down pillows and wonderful soft warm comforters. Couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay. Front desk lady that works at night is a sweetheart. Will definitely come back here again. Nicest place we've ever stayed.

We have encounted rude employees, dusty rooms, broken bathtubs, garbage filled pool area, garbage outside the front doors, a TV with a busted speaker, an overall miserable experience in general. Called corporate to be lead straight back to the unhelpful front desk employees. I could have stayed home and not wasted the money or time spent trying to find a decent room. Stay anywhere else.

We enjoyed the indoor pool area. It was spacious and towels were provided beside the pool area.

I’ve been staying here for almost two years. I work in this area but I live 3 hours away! The employees makes me feel guilty if I stay at another hotel because they are soooo friendly, professional and always in a great spirit! Courtney and Hunter makes my stay feels like “HOME” THEY MAKE ME FEEL LIKE FAMILY! When I enter the door “WELCOME BACK “ Mrs. Lewis makes my day❤️

We had our wedding here and I can not say enough about how amazing the staff was! They did absolutely everything for us! They decorated, cleaned, set everything up for me from favors to extra decor I sent! Everything looked beautiful and the food was amazing! They even went above and beyond for us and put so many goodies to come back to our room too!

We had a reservation for a HS soccer tournament that was cancelled at the last minute today. I immediately called to cancel, but They charged me the full rate anyway. Very poor customer service.

The rooms are very clean, three pillows are awesome. The food is great and the staff is amazing!

ALWAYS stay at a Double Tree because of the linen, pillow, cleanliness) when possible, but this weekend is an annual convention that we attend. At this hotel, the staff are always wonderful, patient and accommodating. I also like the restaurant and starbucks.

We stayed at the DoubleTree last weekend for our son’s wedding. We were there 3 nights and rented 3 suites. The staff could not have been sweeter or more helpful! We also hosted the rehearsal dinner there. It was wonderful! Mirela and her staff were excellent to work with! Beautiful banquet room and great food! They were very patient and obliging with our party. Thanks again!

Double tree is a great place for events such as military balls, prom, or just about any social gathering… they have a nice spacious area for the party!

My family And I stayed here on a stop over to orange beach Al, this past July. This hotel was the cleanest nicest hotel I've stayed in for a long time. They have a very nice pool that is inside and outside. There's a bar and restaurant in the hotel. Now the only bad part about it is the area it's in. Everything closes by 9pm. So if you are hungry you better find something to eat about 7pm or your going to bed with an empty stomach. Overall the hotel was great we would stay again for the cleanliness and the price.

Wonderful staff. Cookies were a nice touch. Kids liked that. They didn't like that the pool was closed for an event. Would've been nice to know before booking.

Great hotel. The restaurant is pretty good. The staff is amazing. I had a small issue with my room and the staff worked extensively to make it right. Even going above and beyond what they needed to.

Very nice and clean rooms. Very good place to stay before or after visiting the Rocket Center. Nice pool for the kids and happy hour & bar for the adults. The buffet breakfast was good with a variety for everyone.

Stopped here with my wife & child completely on the spur of the moment after the toddler couldn’t do anymore road time. It was exemplary. The staff are wonderful, we booked a two room family suite (which was the same price as a single room in most other nearby hotels) and it was a completely refurbished room, very clean and well designed, very comfort. The pool was perfect for a toddler who’d been sat down for 6 hours and the breakfast was really good. Have absolutely no complaints and will definitely be staying again. Totally recommend it.

Newly remodeled, very nice. No balconies overlooking river, sad. Would have thought there would have been a restaurant/bar /balcony on the highest floor so we could enjoy the beautiful Tennessee River rolling by. Probably the nicest hotel in Decatur.

We were there for the Alabama games. The hotel was fully booked. The staff handled the demands of many different sports teams well. When you check in everyone gets a warm chocolate cookie. The pool is an indoor outdoor combination that kept my daughter and her friends entertained for hours. Clean rooms.

Room was beautiful and comfortable. The beds were very soft yet firm with an immaculate, serene view of the river. Me and my husband drive 6hrs once a month for business in the Huntsville/Decatur area and this has been and will be our first choice.

First off, this is a lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioner is our room made a lot of noise, but had little effect at cooling the room. The temp in the room was 74 to 76 degrees even as the digital thermostat was set well below that. The room temp is fine for some, but we enjoy the room closer to 70 for sleeping. The largest problem was the noise of the air conditioner and the bathroom fan which never stopped. Overall, a good experience and a place to rest up before continuing on our journey.

Loved it! Great room, great view, great amenities, great pool, & great staff. We will be back.

I hosted a 2-day event here. Everything was really nice. The staff was AWESOME. Iris and Jose are a great team. The food was great. The conference attendees enjoyed everything: both those who stayed overnight and those that commuted. We are definitely coming back next year!

I stayed at the Double Tree, and my black guests were racially profiled, and run off by hotel management. Only my black guests were run off not my White Guests. In addition, I saved up two months to take my girl to a nice place, when I checked in she was treated like a Prostitute. The Double Tree is not taking any measures to answer my Grievances.

I was there to attend a social event. Their staff was good and took care of whatever requests we made. Good hotel as well. Everything was well maintained.

I was staying at the DoubleTree on April 19th for an event held at the hotel on April 20th. Upon checking out, I ask the front desk clerk if there is anywhere I can pump throughout the day (I am a breastfeeding mother), to which she was not much help in accommodating my needs. However, while eating breakfast, I see the director of sales, Iris, walking around, and I asked her if she knew of anywhere in the hotel I could pump. She said she would be happy to help and would be right back with a solution. She returned and escorted me to the sales offices, where one of her employees, Marcel, happily gave up her entire office to let me pump in a comfortable and private atmosphere! The Hilton Honors room was very nice and up to date, the bed was soft and comfortable, and the cookie upon arrival was a nice touch, but this level of customer service is what really spoke volumes to me. Thank you, Iris, Marcel, and the sales department for being so accommodating and kind! You have set the standards on how everyone in the industry should be. I have always been loyal to Hilton, but you have made me a believer and a lifetime customer.

Great place to stay. Premier location due to the Tennessee RIver. They seem to have a really good menu. I'm excited to try some things here.

I booked online then had to call for late check in! Got there and the front desk staff were great, I was to check in before my event but my room wasn’t ready so went to event and came back around 11 pm! The lady was very nice, got me my keys and gave me cookies! The room was awesome and the kids were able to swim the next morning before check out! Check out was nice and easy! The front desk called me after check out about leaving something in the room! They don’t tell you what over the phone so I had to turn around! Nice staff and friendly!

Excellent beautiful place. Customer service in all aspects was wonderful! Clean well-organized great teamwork shown, all together a wonderful dining experience. If you go during lunch ask for Cecilia.

I had lunch there and the food was great. The staff kept the food fresh and replenshed on the buffet. Out server did a great job managing a large group and was very friendly.

The lady working the desk was super friendly, even though I was checking in at 3:30am. Security guard on duty was very friendly as well. I believe this hotel used to be a holiday in the last time I stayed there. There's a bar and dining area on site. The room had been updated it was much nicer since the last stay, not quite as nice as a newly built DoubleTree, but on par for a retrofit and update hotel.

Note: my stay was on the Southwest (non-river) side. Diamond Hhonors member who’s probably stayed at 200+ Hilton properties. This is probably the loudest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I’ve stayed at hotels next to busy interstates, next to train lines, even on top of a train station. Those hotels usually have the proper windows to keep noise down. This hotel doesn’t. There must be a port or distribution center down the street. There is truck traffic all night. The cacophony of tractor trailers and dump trucks accelerating and engine breaking in front of the hotel isn’t conducive to one’s good night sleep. I use a white noise app for loud hotels, but engine breaking on about 3am is so loud you can’t drown it out. Threw in a second star for the staff. They are really nice. If you must stay here, I’d recommend the river side, otherwise I’d find another hotel.

This is our second time staying with Double tree by Hilton. Same location too. First time was for a family member getting married in Decatur and this time we wanted to just have a night away cause it's our anniversary. We loved it so much last time we came back for our get away. Rooms are great and so are the employee's. I highly recommend this place for business and leisure travelers combined. You will get your money worth. And then some. Happy stay.

We stayed here one night. Very nice place. Everything was clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Beds were very comfy. Check out was a breeze. My only complaints: 1. At around 8am, I was awoken by a knock on the door. When I didn't answer, they knocked again softly and said "housekeeping", when I still didn't answer they did it again, but this time when I didn't answer she unlocked the door and was going to open the door. Luckily, the top lock was engaged and she could enter. I'm not sure why this was happening. 2. No free breakfast. They had breakfast, but it was $10 per person. Bummer.

Best hotel in Decatur Alabama, the staff is always very welcoming, and the restaurant twist grill and bar have very good service and the food is delicious! I love their tomatoes basil soup!

Great location, good staff with clean rooms. A better place to stay in the area. The restaurant works as a good option if you want to stay in at night. The rooms are clean and comfortable so issues with the rooms. I will stay here again when I return.

We broke down on New Year’s Eve. Alyssa at the front desk was amazing and so helpful. The breakfast buffet had so many different items on it and was perfectly cooked. The room was very clean, modern, and the beds were very comfy. We are so thankful for this hotel and the staff for making a difficult experience so delightful.

I did not book a room here, me and my family made reservations at Twist Grill & Bar Restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner. It was a great experience having never ate out on Thanksgiving. They had everything and all of it was great would love to see what they serve on thier regular menu.

Nice, clean, very nice staff! Two things: bathroom is tiny cramped (but very clean) and could use a fan. Beds and pillows are AMAZING! The warm cookie at check-in desk was a nice touch after a long drive ;) There is a Starbucks inside! Coffee lovers rejoice!

A little out of the way off of I-65 but worth it. Awesome breakfast, great indoor /outdoor pool. This time we stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath room. Perfect for a family of 4.

I was attending a luncheon for Women in Business. The food was great… everyone at my table agreed. The facility was also very clean, and staff members were professional and extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend this location for social gatherings.

This was my first stay in a Double Tree. I usually stay at a Hampton Inn. We got a king suite with two twin beds. It was so wonderful to have the kids in their own space. That was a huge plus. The room (s) /suite were clean and nicely furnished. Same for the bathrooms. There were several toiletries provided including make-up remover and shower gel. The only downside was the size of the toilet compartment. The door swings in, so to close it, you have to stand in the shower. Unlike Hampton Inn, Double Tree does not offer free breakfast. Double Tree's cookies at check-in are better, though.

The front desk staff was absolutely excellent and may have been as good or better than any hotel staff ever. The room was very clean and neat. The only ding is the hotel is very close to the highway, so you hear whatever goes down the road.

This was a great Double Tree. I'm a platinum Hilton Honors member so I've stayed in many Double Trees. This one is fresh and fun and feels like a much more expensive room than it actually is. The staff were friendly and prompt. The lobby, elevator, hallways, and room were clean and smelled nice. The next time I'm in Decatur, I'll be staying here.

I had a very relaxing stay here. I left in a hurry and forgot my favorite pants draped over a chair! They mailed them back to me the very next day. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Decatur.

This was not the nicest hotel I have stayed in. The building looks pretty old and they have tried to spruce it up with some paint. There are a number of ceiling leaks throughout the building, including in my first room. The bed sheets had a stain on them where you can tell the water had been leaking for a while, there is no way room service doesn't know about this. They moved my room to a different building, not leaky. The room was nicer but the overall experience was pretty bad.

I booked this with the guise that I had a river view room. My view is a busy intersection in an industrial area with constant semi truck. Just watch the fluff when booking. Otherwise it's more is a boutique light hotel.

Wonderful stay. The view was amazing. Definitely worth paying a little extra for a river view room. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. The bed itself was amazing. Absolutely blissful sleep. One night just wasn't enough. Cant fault this hotel at all. Will be staying here again.

The service is impeccable and friendly. The presentation of the food is beautiful. But the real reason for a restaurant is the food, and it was as good as it looked. Don't miss the Snickers pie. When we ordered it, our waitress told us, "It comes with vanilla ice cream. Is that okay? " Oh yes, it is.

The hotel is great. All of the staff are super friendly and helpful. They have a Starbucks inside and Trip is the best barista I have ever experienced. He made me the best White Chocolate Mocha I've ever had. Kudos to Starbucks for keeping him gainfully employed for twelve years. And he's cute and refreshing to look at first thing in the morning.

After a bad experience at the Days Inn nearby, this place was like coming home. The room smelled like heaven, it was clean, and the bed was so soft. The staff was amazing and they even gave me a free cookie! I was on my way back to Louisville from New Orleans and this will be my go to place during future trips from now on. It was definitely worth the extra money! Thank you Double Tree!

Great stay and wonderful staff! The dinner and breakfast buffet was tasteful and my steak was cooked to perfection! I would highly recommend staying at this hotel!

Room is a little tight but very modern looks. Free cookies everyday and nice staff. Everything is recently remodeled so looks very fresh. Elevators are extremely slow.

We are staying at the Doubletree with a very large group. The hotel is very accommodating. The rooms are nice and clean, and the suite we are staying in is very spacious. There is some road construction taking place out front, but the hotel is still fairly easy to access.

The hotel was a nice place to stay. The cookies they offer are awesome. Booked on a third party website and they did not have the updated pictures of the hotel. Pictures showed that it had a hot tub and a game room, when we showed up those were not there because that's when it was Holiday Inn. But all in all associates were eager to help in any way possible, rooms were classy and an awesome view of the Tennessee River.

Double Tree has renovated the entire facility. Very nice finishes throughout. I stayed at this hotel 3 years ago prior to face lift and it is a nice change. Staff was friendly, rooms are nice. I attended a company Christmas party in on if the conference rooms. These rooms were very nice as well and the staff was great. Food was excellent, empty plates were taken away quickly and drink refills were on point. Nice place all around. The construction on the road out front is a little frustrating, so hopefully that will wrap up soon.
