A very nice n cosy hotel. All the staff are very good n friendly. They were very helpful n assisted when ever. We really enjoyed our stay in rose garden.

Guest relations by Mrs Hamide is very good. Good suggestions given. Street facing rooms are a little noisy. Otherwise, location is v good being in Sultanahmet area which is very close to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern etc.

Nice little motel! Clean rooms and friendly staff. However, they need to upgrade breakfast. Very limited choices :/

Small, cute hotel in the heart of the Sultanahmet area of Istanbul, minutes from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia & Topkapi palace.

Historical and calm. Kind and freindly staf. Few minutes away from the tramway station.

Quiet hotel with lovely green patio and decent breakfasts, in the heart of the old town, not a small clean room.

It is really nice place, people on reception are kind. It is only ~15 min from train station to hotel. The rooms are pretty nice, big and comfortable. There is a little fridge inside a room. In the bar you can find "Efes" Turkish beer and a lot of Turkish cuisine with a lot of meat inside. The breakfast is also good. The one thing that you can be alarmed with song from outside's mosque in the morning, but it is ok.

Historical calm but has no elevators.

I loved the hotel. My room very great the same bed and helpful. All very clean the Jacuzzi great. And very attentive staff. A perfect location close to everything.

Friendly staff especially Seljuk and Hamida; and has a very cosy ambience. The free flowing coffee & tea provide quick relief after a long day visiting places in Istanbul. Location wise can't be faulted with close proximity to just about everything.

A quaint family owned hotel, with a lovely garden and quiet location. The rooms were spacious, well maintained, and the staff very personable.

The air-conditioning is not working and its too hot here in Istanbul even I reserved suite — I complain many times they didn't do any thing, I dont know how the A/C will be at single room!

I am really very satisfied about everything, from the first contact until my departure : my room was really very nice and very clean.   the breakfast as a buffet was very good too and delicious, all personal working in this nice small Hotel are very friendly and helpful  . The location is  perfect, very close to all important attractions of Istanbul like Blue mosque 3min (Walk), hagia Sofia (3min), topcapi palast, basilica museum (4min), plenty of restaurants (just 100m), metro station (4min), big Bazar (10min). I recommend this hotel  to everyone and I am sure you will never be disappointed. I am sure I will come back … I say only : perfect hotel = perfect service= perfect place.

The personnel deceive people. I stayed in this hotel 20.08.16. At first they didn't meet at airport. The second I didnt like dust on tables and on the floor. But bed was white and clean. Also there were showergel, balsam and etc. After a shower I had put on white (not soft, uncomfortable, ) a bathroom gown and wrapped my hair with a towel. I had coloured my hair before arriving. There was red colour on gown and towel. Then the personnel of hotel asked $30. I was surprised because the price of a gown most $5. Towel of $3. (The photo is applied). As a result I paid $25. One day later I stayed in Izmir. In Izmir the personnel of hotel were surprised because on their opinion personnel of Golden Rose had to wash at first and then asked money. Some says before I washed a towel and a bath gown. They became white. Paint vanished so quickly without problem. For me$25 isn't much but it is rude, not good attitude to tourists. I have been traveling a lot of and stayed on different hotels but such personnel I have never seen.

I really enjoyed the hotel accommodations in the garden. Hotel's location is ideal, because it only needs to walk to the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul Bazaar, Sophia's Church there are other great attractions. Although the hotel is near the popular tourist area, but near the hotel is very quiet. Hotel rooms were very nice and clean, but it is a little bit off. Nice hotel. Good service and friendly staffs. Facilities are perfect too.

My friend and I have been planning a long anticipated trip to Turkey. However, due to recent terrorist attacks in Ankara and the potentially volatile situation we decided to postpone the trip until better times. All establishments that we had been working with, including the airlines, have been very very accomodating. The Rose Garden, which had required payment in full as early as June for a December visit, would not refund our payment and did not even offer a credit for a future visit. I can not recommend this hotel and suggest people use caution prior if considering the Rose Garden while visiting Istanbul.
