Professional staff, yummy and plentiful food, beautiful view and local! Nice chance for customers to stick their thoughts on a tree in the hall!

Cheaters and never deliver their agreements.

They rip off tourists. Taste one tea then sell them a complete different one which tasted nothing alike. Because they know you are not around to get a refund or exchange. And prices are also way high.

By being honest. When someone asks for apple tea, taste a sample made by them then say that is the tea you want, you dont expect to be given a totally different tea that tastes nothing like the one you sampled in the shop. They do this because they know you are foreign and cannot do anything about the product once you get home. Disgusting to be cheated and lied to like that.

Best hotel location, very near to most of visiting places.

Room 203, they said it's the best, but Suffering time there, in 10 days I took 4 hotels, mevlana is the worst, not clean at all except reception and terrace. Air condition has pre adjust to not cool less than 27 C, so weather outside is better than inside talking about (10th of August 2018) Bathroom is not clean, stayed 2 days, they did not clean or tidy the room even I asked them to, they opened the room door while I'm sleeping in and it was locked with key from inside. They connected all electric even air-condition with key, if you remove key for any reason or get outside, everything turn off including air condition. Solid 3 stars. Not great but not horrible either. Rooms are dated, floors are creeking. You can hear noises from the hall, from the lobby and neighbors. The light from the street is quite bright and there are no blinds or curtains to cover them. There's no water in the room, there's no place to buy buy water in the lobby. The staff is pretty friendly though and they try. Again it's all three stars but it's not very impressive. I paid $45.00 USD for 1 night here.

We had the time of our lives in Istambul and Mevlana hotel was like our home. We felt very welcome and the family environment make us feel very comfortable! We will come back! Here we are with our friends from Mevlana!

Nice place. Clean room but a bit too small for 2 persons. Breakfast is rich and the view from terrasse is really nice.

Sure everybody was nice & helpful. I bought lots of Turkish delights, spices, coffee, tea & bags. The problem was, that 4 days later when I returned home & opened the boxes of the Turkish delights I found black insects & worms crawling inside. Even the 2 boxes with two different Turkish delights I sent to my daughter all the way to Canada, which by the way the only thing she asked for from my trip turned out to have the same disgusting surprise. So mad & nauseated by the whole ordeal.

We bought 5 carpets from Umit and his cousin in mid-May 2016 and experienced excellent service, a history lesson about carpet manufacture and fantastic hospitality. Umit posted the carpets to Australia, and after we paid the import taxes they arrived within a week. We also bought delicious quality Turkish delights. Thank you Umit and Mevlana Bazaar. My carpets look great!

Very nice staff at the frontdesk of the hotel. The rooms are pretty small but have everything that you need. The toilet was broken and the shower not as clean as it should be. Moreover its a bit noisy. The restaurant on top of the hotel has a great view to the sea and the blue mosque and the hotel itself is sorrounded by the beautiful old town and very central. All in all its good for the price but really needs some modernisation.

Clean hotel but is in serious need of repair. Showers and toilets were all broken in one way or another, I had three rooms over two nights and they were all the same. The staff were helpful but also indifferent (happily moved our room on second night to allow late checkout), on the first night we arrived with another guest, by random, and our key was given to this unconnected guest. It would have made three people in a double room, not sure what the guy on reception was thinking, :/. I would say I got exactly what I paid for.

Very nice and friendly front desk staff. Ask about the airport shuttle service — very inexpensive. The breakfast was good; terrace has a nice sea view and view of the Blue Mosque. Convenient to restaurants, souvenir shops, attractions, etc. The room was okay. A bit noisy on the street side. Small bathroom. Bed was okay.

Very good hotel: room clean, excellent breakfast, great location and very friendly staff. I would absolutely recommend.
