Tropikist is a magical place, it’s like no place I’ve ever experience…my husband and I spent our honeymoon there for a week and it was the most enjoyable, relaxing and memorable week we had…words can’t express how comfortable our stay was…will definitely visit again…

My vacation spent at Tropikist was a fantastic one! Superb service and beautiful staff… in fact I would say Excellent service staff! I give you all 5 stars for customer service! Food was wonderful and the entire resort was so clean and relaxing. Can't wait to go back soon!

The pool, the food, and the view all were absolutely amazing. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming 🙏 😊 The rooms were so comfortable and clean, We felt very comfortable and relaxed during our stay.

One of the best holidays I ever had. The staff were very attentive. Mikala and Natasha were brilliant ambassadors, always patient welcoming and attentive. It's within walking distance of the airport. I will definitely be back.

Tropikist for the win… Recently stayed for my birthday at one of the Ocean Deluxe Room it was wonderful clean room, lovely ambience, food exquisite and Customer service 100/100… The Gm Mr. Nirvindra very down to earth friendly personality and goes beyond. I’ll recommend Tropikist to anyone be it work pleasure family trips. Tropikist for the win.

Recently myself and my bestie spent our birthdays at tropkist. First of all we felt so welcomed by the staff they were very friendly and helpful. When we got to our room it was decorated so lovely with happy birthday on the bed from the balcony looking down at the view you felt like you're in paradise. Throughout our stay everything was excellent we also made some friends from other countries whom were so very nice. I will recommend anyone to visit there. When we left we felt like we have an extended family from tropkist. Thank you very much Malika, Natasha Jackie and the rest of the tropkist family much love ❤️

I came to Tropikist for my first anniversary, and the experience was amazing, the food and drinks were great, the staff are super professional but friendly at the same time, the room was quiet and peaceful, an experience you just have to give a try.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the lovers getaway package. All staff were very polite and helpful, the massage therapist was very good, the drinks at the bar were enjoyable, the food was to die for (I'm sure I put on a few pounds), the room was beautifully decorated and the nightly entertainment was quite fun to witness. I must say a 5 night stay wasn't long enough 😔. We will definitely be back to enjoy the facilities in the near future.

Amazing and wonderful experience at Tropikist. The food was delicious, staff was very friendly and accommodating, beautiful pool and grounds. Price was excellent. The staff was so welcoming and helpful to all our needs with all smiles. The food was delicious and incredible. The room was really cozy and very comfortable. My husband and I had a lot of fun. And I must add the massage therapist was incredible with his gifted hands. Would recommend 👌 to anyone how just want to be at peace. ❤

This weekend was wonderful. So sad that it has to end. From the moment we checked in, it has been nothing but fantastic. Fantastic service from all of the staff. Zaria in reception, Timothy from the kitchen staff and all others were so accommodating, patient, polite, respectful and very engaging. Kudos to Dan the chef. The food was the highlight of our stay. Keep it up. You guys are amazing❤

The customer service is very good. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. They are extremely friendly and helpful. The Manager Ms. Nicole is exceptional at her duties and responses. My family and I had some early issues but Ms. Nicole ensured that they were resolved in quick time and with major consolations. She's awesome. The environment is clean and well kept. I absolutely recommend Tropikist.

Won’t recommend, met with unfriendly staff from the minute of checking in till I left. No service with a smile at all. Second day, housecleaning had to be phoned twice 4 hours apart to have the room cleaned/fresh towels at 4:30pm. No apologies or concern whatsoever for that mishap. If you don’t have the all inclusive package, a local alcoholic drink (rum and coke not a fancy mixed drink) at their “sunset bar” over priced by 300% in comparison to top bars/restaurants on the island.

My husband and I came for our anniversary and it was fantastic, clean surroundings, friendly staff and the food was awesome we will definitely be coming back for another stay.

Lovely atmosphere, good food, great service.

With all COVID19 protocols in place, Tropikist never fell short of ensuring that our stay was enjoyable. The courteous staff made our stay comfortable, maintaining clean premises, good food and their pool was one of the friendliest in terms of varying depths but not so deep to scare the non swimmers.
On their chilly evenings, the hot tub was the best and most relaxing to unwind in.
Make sure to enjoy every minute there. It's worth it.

My husband and I spent the Christmas weekend at the Hotel and it was a great experience. The ambiance is beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious, both breakfast and dinner. Although I felt one of the lunch menus needs to be revisited.
Overall the Service Supervisor Ms Ganna Shah did a great job in making your stay a memorable one.

I loved it! Very quiet, clean, family — friendly, romantic atmosphere, relaxing and the staff was definitely most pleasant. Breakfast was super delicious! My kids had the most fun. I will definitely return here soon for a vacation. I rate Tropikist 10/10

Spent my birthday at Tropikist recently. I must say I was very pleased with the staff throughout for making my stay an enjoyable and memorable one. Breakfast and dinner were always delicious with a wide variety to choose from. Thanks Alana and Gernielle for making my birthday so special.

A family of 7 with 2 kids & we had an amazing 3 nights. The rooms were clean & comfortable, the breakfast & dinner was lovely, the ambience is heavenly. The staff were friendly & courteous… thank you Alana & Angel … all the restaurant staff & the helpful front desk staff. Thank you for making our mini vacay a memorable one 4☆☆☆☆ ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

3/5 The male front desk employee was extremely friendly! The rooms were nice. The new pool was great but the other large pool looked dirty and needs to be upgraded. Due to Covid19, we did not get buffet breakfast but instead, we had to preorder our breakfast. The restaurant staff were not friendly. Overall, I had overexpectations of the hotel.

Reasonable price, fantastic room view, housekeeping was efficient and timely, facilities cleaned every morning, friendly staff, family oriented and good food will definitely revisit!

Very friendly, laidback experience. Food is varied and flavorful. Staff are warm and welcoming. The only downside is the bar shuts at 10pm but you can stock your fridge during the day. Its not 5 Star but we had a great time. — с Sue Deakin.

This hotel is by far the best I’ve been to in Tobago! It’s a wonderful place especially if you have kids. The food was great, customer service was exceptional, the rooms were spotless. They satisfied our every need and a special thanks to Gary for going above and beyond and making our Stay a memorable one … we will definitely be visiting again … soon for those considering where to stay in Tobago look no further Tropikist is the place to be it’s like heaven on earth!

I have just returned from Tropikist Hotel and I can not praise the staff enough, a smaller quiet hotel, If you want to relax and enjoy peace and quiet, good food, nice pool and great people this hotel is for you.

Has a very romantic feel, extremely quite and reasonably secluded. The size of the room is great, extremely clean if a little dated.
The food is great and so are the staff. The concierge are happy to help if you have a issue.

Our 4th vacation at Tropikist recently came to an end…
It's always a pleasure to stay here. 2nd to none ocean view from the spacious and comfortable deluxe junior suite rooms, beautiful grounds and pool.
Most of the staff were courteous and helpful, some, not so much.
Shoutout to Mr. Harris and Mr. Gary who from my experience and observation, went above and beyond to be friendly with hotel guests and make our stay at Tropikist a most hospitable one.

Awesome experience at this Hotel. Service was on point and my family felt at home, away from home. Would like to mention Mr. Gary for his courteous and professional attitude. Kudos to the restaurant staff for the delicious meals. Was impressed on the cleanliness of the pool and the general surroundings. We were sad to go but will surly return soon!

The hotel is maintained well. I was impressed by how clean it was. The staff was very accommodating, warm and friendly. The ambiance was nice. The beach front view breathtaking. Wi-Fi could be accessed anywhere on the compound and it is conveniently located… Near the airport, store bay and pegion point.

OMG! Our recent stay was wonderful… Kudos go out to the friendly and hospitable staff. Special mention must be made of the waitress Ava. I think that was her name, the restaurant supervisor and everyone in the dining room… even the groundsman was hospitable… We are already planning our next trip so you will be seeing us sooner than you think. A few of your front desk staff needs training in public/customer relations. On the other hand your kitchen personnel and barman must be highly recommended for their service. I would like to make special mention of Christine, Gary Bacchus and Junior for their excellent service.

This is a nice resort located close to the airport. It could use a few upgrades here and there (no Wi-Fi or good cell service in rooms, one of the pools need refinishing, jacuzzi not hot etc) but it’s still a gorgeous resort. You will hear planes taking off and landing from here so if that type of noise bothers you I don’t recommend you stay here. But the views are amazing, the complimentary breakfast is really good, and it’s within walking distance of all the night life and day activities as well.

Good location, clean hotel and staff were all pleasant and very helpful. Gary, Jerry and the Management were all great. Breakfast menu was limited but lovely omelettes made by Ram. We enjoyed our stay.

We had an terrific experience at this resort. Only a 3 minute drive from the airport. Staff were professional and friendly. Check in was fast. Rooms were immaculate with spectacular ocean views. The doors slide all the way open so we had a whole wall of ocean breeze keeping us cool. The pool was very clean and there are tons of nice lounge areas to sit alone or in a large group. Breakfast was spectacular: a full hot breakfast with tons of fruit. The head chef greeted us personally every morning and made sure we were full and happy. However there were a few downsides (but nothing that was surprising or would keep us from going back). The hotel food was a bit expensive and the hot tub was more like a warm tub. The beach at the resort is a tad small but there are many beautiful and large beaches within a 5 minute walk. Can't wait to go back!

Gorgeous island resort. The beach at the resort is a little small but there are several large beaches within walking distance. Rooms are beautiful and very clean. Rooms have a small fridge to keep drinks cool. Drinks on site are also a little expensive between 2 and 6 dollars but there are stores close by where drinks and mix can be bought. Hotel staff are friendly. Pool is huge and kept spotless. Lots of nice areas to sit and relax in. Had a fantastic time and I can't wait to return!

My husband and I recently spent our anniversary here and they made us feel so welcomed from the time we arrived to the time we left everyone was always on hand making sure everything was good. The food was amazing, the view from our room was breathtaking, will definitely be back.

Ok but wouldnt stay their again iff we return to Tobago. Lovely staff but just needs a bit of TLC & better food choices.

I'm here right now and it's beautiful! Affordable 3* hotel in the Caribbean. Staff are all receptive and respectful. Please treat them accordingly and they will treat you the same. New manager is working hard to turn this gorgeous little boutique hotel round.

Firstly, let me just say the experience was wonderful. The scenery, the beach, the pool, the room, the hospitality and the food. I stayed there for 5 days and got a peace of mind. I would recommend it to anyone. When I checked in, CHRISTINE, was a darling she handled with me such professionalism and humor. Made me feel comfortable. There were few others that weren't as pleasant but still professional to an extent, but I just remembered CHRISTINE. As for room service… NADINE was such a darling in communicating and doing her job effectively. The meals were exceptional. I enjoyed everything. Nevertheless my stay at Tropikist was exceptionally well. I will come back again.

Friendly staff, very close to the airport, excellent location by a beach & most rooms have a sea view, rooms kept clean; efficient air-conditioning; generally good quality drinks, for example, Bombay Sapphire gin & Schweppes tonic, nevertheless, the wine is best avoided; food is nice, if you like Caribbean cooking, but not if you don't & menus could be varied more frequently. Superb value for money, however, the hotel could benefit from a re-fit, but prices would inevitably increase significantly, in consequence.

Been meaning to make this review since September been so busy. Myself and my partner stayed at Tropikist in September and from the time we arrived to the time we left we were treated extremely well. EVERY staff member was polite chatty and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and so much variety. The lunch and dinner were yum, it's so close to the airport (walking distance) and close to beach. Well be returning next year, literally so happy with the hotel. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Fantastic resort, staff are all friendly short walk to beach, shops and airport. Rooms are spacious and clean.

Visited this hotel on my first ever trip abroad. Safe to say the stay in this hotel is worth every one of these stars. It was basically right next to the airport but you wouldn't be able to tell as it seemed very quiet and peaceful, even with planes arriving and departing every so often. The staff were so polite and friendly, helping me with any problems and requests I had. We had a designated tour guide who was very helpful at choosing disabled friendly activities and tours that my mum would be able to participate in. The hotel in general had a lovely atmosphere and was nice and clean. The room we stayed in was above standards and we had an amazing view of the ocean. The food here was some of the nicest food I have eaten, the chef himself was outstanding as he offered to make me a different dish if there was nothing on the menu I liked. The breakfast was amazing with a great choice of things to chose from. At the end of our stay we were not rushed out of our room and we were able to stay within the hotel grounds while we waited for our flight back to the UK. I will most definitely be returning in the future.

Leaking pipes bathroom floor always wet, waitress rude, dinner terrible, bed folding in on you while sleeping on it, all this for almost $2000 per night and when enquire about it they said the room was recently upgraded couldn't do anything about it, for this money I could of stayed at (Magdalena Grand Hotel) instead.

At breakfast, the man making the omlet was extremely disgusting, impatient and rude. He touched my food with his bare hands… disgusting. And also the hotel doesn't provide Wi-Fi in the room only in the lobby and that's dumb if you ask me. Other than those major things they were alot of other stuff along the way that just annoyed me and my family.

Took my mom and aunt for mothers day. The atmosphere and ambiance was breath taking. I felt appreciated by friendly staff. The quality of food was also great. I am surely returning soon.

I booked on expedia and received a reduced price. I always heard good reviews about tropikist and jumped at the opportunity. When I got there, the staff was very friendly and they advised that the room was available for us to check in. I also opted for a later check in with no additional cost. There were some electricity problems and water problems which was caused by the electricity problem. The problem was a T&TEC one and not a hotel one. The pool was great and clean. The bar at the pool should have some additional options. The choices were very limited. Breakfast was good. A wider variety of fruit would have been appreciated. The food was tasty. The maintenance staff visited the room twice for two separate issues and they were very respectful and accommodating. The room was very clean when I got it. I requested a kettle because I have a young child with me. This was not provided. I had to use a pitcher to take water from the lobby to the room to prepare a bottle. Overall my experience was a good one! The facilities was very nice and clean. I will revisit.

Good facility, very spacious rooms. At U$135 per night, it is a bit on the high side for the value of the experience. Major weakness — no Wi-Fi in rooms. Meals (Breakfast) were good, friendly staff. Wanted more local dishes. Organisation of the Breakfast area can be improved to match to flow of the meal. As for the person preparing the eggs, he needs training in preparing different types of eggs dishes, e. G. What is an "Egg Benedict". When asked to do scramble egg, he fried it and then cut it up. Great local within the western peninsula of Tobago.

Best feature of this hotel is the pool and deck. The all inclusive package is not a bad deal with the breakfast being the best meal of the day, especially the coconut bake by local chef. Bar is a tad overpriced and sometimes limited availability but generally bar service is friendlier than food service. Front desk staff are somewhat interactive but not very friendly. Payments are restricted to credit card which can cause a problem for some guests. The hotel could use a makeover but more recently small changes have been made however it could still use a maintenance uplift. The GM has a good grasp on customer satisfaction but frontline staff are not the best on quality service. Some training would help. Overall a stay here can be a fair value for your money and location is very convenient to everything — within walking distance.
