Many things to see and around and location is convenient.

A wonderful peaceful joy. Unique and special. Olive the owner/manager is incredible. I will be sad to leave.

Amazing place, amazing people, only one like this in koh Samui, I want to return soon.

Wow what a hotel! My family and I (me, hubby, 3yr and 5yr old) just stayed for 4 nights! The bungalow was basic but lovely and spacious, very quiet being up the hill and away from hustle and bustle of town. Was a little nervous about walk to town but it was actually super easy even with two little ones. Staff were wonderful. Always happy to help if we had any Q but gave us space to just get on with our day. And being an animal lover the resident dogs coming up to say hello most days made me happy! The absolute highlight though was the pool area! WOW WOW WOW! We literally spent hours all swimming and playing in it! Overall absolutely blown away. So bright, colourful and clearly built up over time with love. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for something a bit more authentic!

Family run for many years, lovely hosts, chilled atmosphere, lovely views over the sea.

Amazing place with beautiful garden. Breathtaking view from a pool, good restaurant, friendly stuff. Wonderful sounds of nature, you feel like at the oasis of serenity. Clean, stylish apartaments.

This is probably my favorite place on the island. So artistic and well done. Nice view of Lamai, good food and nice staff. And if you plan on being here a while, bring a towel and lay by the pool. They have a water slide!

Dis place is crazy colourful. Superb nd very comfortable stay v had. D owner nd d host of dis resort r very good hearted people… loved everything about dis huge beautiful property… ders some magic here… gonna come back here again 4sure… I highly recommend dis resort to everyone… dey r d best.

Very bad service, mean dogs that attacks tourists and staff dont care.

On arrival, we thought we'd landed in the jungle. The sound setting which consists of cicadas and birds was breathtaking and gave the resort even more flair. The hotel is decorated with great attention to detail and each room is equipped with a great terrace. The colourful presentation makes a good mood and lets you unwind. All the staff of this family-run hotel are super friendly and cordial. I cannot understand the previous negative reviews regarding the stairs, as you can see that the hotel is on a mountain at the booking. Of course you have to climb stairs to reach the mountain or run up a mountain;)
We felt very comfortable there and would come back anytime.

Delightful place. We stayed 4 nights in this beautiful setting. Typically Thai, just like the old days, great breakfast, lovely staff, artworks everywhere. You need at least a week to take it all in. Bedding changed every day, 5 minutes to the beach. Thanks to yindee and family (and your lovely doggies) for the gift of beautiful memories. We will return xx.

The most miserable and expensive hotel you can think of. Just natural dump. For 4500 baht per day sheets are sewn. Terrible breakfast which stinks like a makashnicy in Bangkok. KATASTROFAA is not a hotel. We even.

Very nice colorful plant. Ideal for children.
If you don't need a well-styled system, this is the right place. All in Thaistyle. But that makes me a Thailand vacation. The staff was very friendly and the room was very comfortable. Children did not want to leave again and there were tears to leave.
So everything done right.

Came there as outside guests and order two fruit shakes but got it from juice box, than when we pay they want from us to pay for swimming. Did not expect it because there is no sign to tell it. Otherwise it is beautiful place with nice view.

Wonderful and unique. This hotel is a great place to stay if you are looking for a place with a lot of love. Every day you discover something new, the staff is Thai-typical very friendly, the food delicious, our family bungalow was very spacious and the pool allowed a fantastic view of the Lamai beach and gave us as a motif beautiful holiday photos.
Only the way to the beach (choosing the shortest) offers in my view a little criticism potential. The reason is that for some elderly people or people who are handicapped, especially on foot, but somewhat steep, and possibly strenuous ascent via a staircase to the beach. But this is only the shortest way. If you take a small detour to the beach, you can also get around it.

One of the best hotels of our stay in Thailand. Very nice staff. Very clean room. View from the beautiful pool! Good choice for breakfast.

Super nice Hotel on Koh Samui, near Lamai Beach. Unique décor with attention to Detail. I would recommend it again and again. The family runs the Hotel is exceptionally friendly, courteous and very open. I had been swept up in a serious accident on Koh Samui, and I am in the protected area of a waterfall, had to be sewn in several Places and, therefore, the beach holiday history. The hotel owner had accepted me, and the whole of the island shown because I was alone
The family has made it possible for me after my accident is a other holiday and me on the other side of Koh Samui presented by the locals. The Hotel I can recommend for women traveling alone. Family friendly lovely Hotel.

Nice green resort with a pool and good restaurant.

Awesome place, close to town but feels like your in the middle of the forest. Restaurant with view over the town and see. Lovely family ownes this place and really cares about it.

Wonderful staff, great amenities, funky, unique place!

Fun and funky place. We stayed in our own little hut. No phone in the room so you need to walk to the front desk to ask for things but staff is very responsive and kind. Stairs down down to the main road and short trek to the beach (down much better than up). Breakfast was good with a decent selection. Family dogs run around and are very pettable but we'll trained not to come into dining areas, pool, or guest living area. All in all a wonderful trip to a great city and a gorgeous view from a sweet hotel.

Cool place for relaxation, and if you don't need the people. But it is on the mountain. Walking really intense. Need a moped, then good.

Varinda garden resort is above a 5* place. The location — service — food — rooms — animals — price — facilities — local amenities — — — all absolutely wonderful! The people (and dogs) are such lovely people, the food is extremely tastey and a good price and great selection, the hotel and facilities are a DREAM, 5mins from the local road and beach but up above with the evening breeze and view,
I can not praise here enough — there is no other holiday place I could wish for. I couldn't better it either. For me it's just a perfect place.

A wondrous place! No glitz, no glamour, no BS. A Thai family owned, built and run resort with around 40 indivdual 1, 2 and 3 bedroom villas, all with every comfort you would expect in the. The main resort building is a new adventure everyday with stairs, nooks, crannies, hammocks, local art/craft scattered everywhere. The pool, with it's sheer drop edge overlooking Lamai beach from the hill is fabulous! The food is great, with a mix of real traditional Samui style Thai food and all your western standards. Finally, the people here are magnificent! Nothing was too much effort! This place was my last holiday and will definitely be my next!
