The bungalows are nice. The food is ok. The staff in the kitchen could be faster. It doesn’t take 45 minutes to make a smoothly, especially when you’re the only one in the restaurant.

Very nice staff, 5mins from the beach (we had the bungalow the farthest), nice pool!
We were able to rent a scooter at the hotel for 200baths and we did not get annoyed on the stripes as can sometimes happen.

I would say the quality of resort is equal to european 2-3 stars. The staff was really really friendly. The resort is quite big, so if you have bad luck, the way to the beach can be 5-10 min. The grounds (pool, paths, bungalows, rooms) are in an good shape (if you don't expect 4-5 stars). The bungalows smelled a bit muffy. The Wi-Fi on the rooms was a bit unsteady. But for this price, the rooms are very big, pretty and clean. The resort is not directly connected to the city. It's like a ten minute walk from lamai "inner city" on the beach or at the "expressway" to the resort. Or 100 baht tuk tuk. At all, we had a great time staying there.

For small money you can't expect much.

After 4 days without paying in the hotel, as she was only there, she finally claimed 1200 as she thought I will stay more than 3 weeks, but I showed mail messages (well 2 weeks). She made a scandal with big words in English and big knives in hand if I'm not going to pay the total amount. Showed fucks and even spit on me… I was insulted, threatened and humiliated, under the shock I was obliged to pay even the day of my departure at noon 1200BAHT for every day! I'm not at all outrageous, but the principle! I changed the hotel to the best in Lamai even and cheaper, but the holiday start was wasted. The price is very low and the cost/quality ration is the best we have experienced in Thailand. It has a cozy beach divided by the rest of the beach by rocks. It is in a quiet area and you can walk just a few minutes to Lamai for a nightlife and places to eat and drink. Also the pool is clean, which was a rare thing here in Thailand. We have avoided the restaurant, which was not looking very good.

Feels like a jungle retreat thanks to the dense trees and foliage between the nice bungalows. Plus the beach is not crowded at this corner.
