15 of us family members all ages 3-78 are catered for. Excellent staff, good food & coffee. Close to beach if you want to leave the lovely resort. We would come again!

We cannot recommend The Chava Resort highly enough! Paul & the staff are outstanding! They are so friendly & nothing is too much of a hassle! It has definitely been our home away from home. The surroundings are fabulous & the food is amazing. We will definately be coming back to this family friendly resort!

Fantastic resort — staff are friendly and the General manager Paul brings a homely vibe to the resort. The food is amazing and the cocktails are cool. Have loved spending the two weeks here, would recommend it.

Small resort but lovely atmosphere. Love everything about this resort. 3 bedroom apartment perfect, spacious, family friendly.

One can say the Chava has been the home away from home for my family over the last 6 years. We come here every Chinese New Year holiday because it is run by a warm and friendly manager and a very attentive staff who make us feel at home. The design of the apartments is very cozy and comfortable. The location is perfect at the calm and relaxing Surin beach; far away enough from Patong to be quiet, and close enough to be convenient. We will be coming here for many years to come.

Quiet hotel close to the beach. Staff to listen very nice and discreet. The rooms are all comfortable and spacious. Too bad it does not offer half board even if you find a lot of restaurants nearby. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This is not a resort! This is a nice beautiful condominium, a disguised hotel which is not. Some said its suited for children but its not coz of the lay out and space. Its nice to stay long term not on short term basis with all the turnover.

Food is fantastic. Staff is amazing. Their breakfast is highly recommended. They do a great English Breakfast. Highly recommended.

Big apartments. I think it is really suited for family. Love the pool. The breakfast is so good and unique. Better than any continental breakfast. The location is pretty amazing. Only a 3 min from the beach. However, it is pretty far from patong beach. A 3-5 km trip which takes about 15 mins.

We stayed at the Chava for six nights in the 2 bed plunge pool suite. The hotel is starting to fray around the edges. Everything is a little worn out, stained or tired. The bed was really uncomfortable. While the pool was nice, the lounge chairs were so close together you couldn't walk between them to get on one (even though there was hardly more than one family around the pool most times). The breakfast was entirely unremarkable, with the exception of the cheap nasty jam — memorable for all the wrong reasons. On the bright side the room was spacious with good aircon. I think there are better options in Surin and else where in Phuket for the prices charged by the Chava. At best it was only okay.

Sadly leaving here tomorrow. This place is just amazing, can't fault it. Staff, food and accommodation is first class. Can't wait to come back! Recommend The Chava for sure.

Very spacious apartments, nice pool, good location in Surin. I'd pick this place again if I revisit Phuket.

Couldn't fault the staff, the facilities, the location, the apartment or the restaurant. Staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and nothing was any trouble. Rates as one of the best accommodations we have ever stayed at. Cannot recommend Chava Resort Surin Beach highly enough. Special Thanks to Pete — a true gentleman. The Terry crew would love to stay again.

Great accommodation, rooms are more apartments than hotel rooms really, but in a good way. As you still have all services like in an hotel.

The food was too late no apology. And opinion. Although not so many people were there. But great ambiance will not go back anyway. Eat good times bad, without spices and you don't even have salt and pepper, would have to do with fingers. We ordered hamburger and salad.

For couples, families or groups wanting the ultimate relaxing and super fun holiday, head over to The Chava Resort… It's just amazing! Fantastic food and beverages and the setting will definitely force your hand to "chill out" in a heartbeat! Oh, and did I mention the staff — You won't be disappointed. Just had our 2nd visit, and it won't be our last that's for sure.
