The SR Residence Hotel

Not expensive rate for room, clean. litle bit hard to find the placed. staff was nice and service was damn good. Free breakfast (coffee and toast) free tea and coffee all the time. staff always help guide us about all the rute we want to come and give some tips also. Always got free ice tea when you sit at lobby area, and staff will give you free ice cream if you back from beach at noon.

We arrived on February 21, 2018 very bad reception not smiling at all! Then we are asked 300 baths of bail if we ever lose the keys (at least wait until we lose the keys) then to the beautiful surprise no elevator 4 suitcases to climb on 2 floors, the room not at all like in the pictures, the gym even worse to have nothing at all, and the next morning we are made to ring the alarm clock of the room to tell us to leave when it was not even 12h yet and the maid was already in front of the door. Short of the great anything I strongly advise against this hotel! Fake pictures! And a lady short hair bezel at the front desk where one has more the impression of pissing on her such rather than anything else. The most disappointing hotel of our stay in Thailand!

It is a bit away from everything even though you can walk to Patong Beach in about 15 minutes. The rooms are ok and the staff is just great. As many reviews already mentioned there is free coffee or tea at the reception area and you can even have some complimentary biscuits. In the evening the staff walked around and served icecream and some cold drinks. All in all it's great value for the money.

I didn't find anything negative and also not any positives which I should mention. It's far from Patong beach, you get limited water to drink, AC takes time to cool.

The location is a little bit far to main street. The environment is ok. But the staff there is pretty nice and helpful anyway.

Very nice rooms, worth for money. Staffs are soo polite and friendly, good behavior. They provide a small cafeteria where you can get some coffee and snacks for free. Good ambiance. Love that place. Walkable distance to the city.

Quiet street, clean inexpensive rooms. Of the Cons: No kitchen and can not smoke even on the balconies.

Hotel excellent, not expensive, super service. The first time I see free tea / coffee on lobby. With great respect, your guest.

This place is a waste of money, go stay at the Blue Sky cheap and way way way nicer staff. These people are awful and I hope they enjoy the one stars.

This place is disgusting and the owner is rude even for such a slum lord. The staff broke into my room stole from my bag and then kicked me out.

The worse experience I ever had in my 40 years old years of traveling. I'm in Thailand every year. But would never be in this hotel/hostel again. Stuff are very nice. But, pics that on site are a lie. Mosquitoes in the room. Air conditioner barely working. Only direct On on side of the bed. Till u get brain freeze. Room Taking forever to get any coldness. You get only one key even. So whatever u buy for ur freezer don't waste money. I got milk and fruit, yogurt for the morning. Everything went bad. Freezer only work when u put key on wall for electricity. When u in the room. They won't give another key even tho me and my friends not always together. The worse of all it is I Had an argue with them for 20min of my life to get two towels to shower. Claim we didn't give them day before meanwhile we didn't even got any cuz we asked NOT to clean our room. Because when we did asked. Both garbage (room/shower) was still full. Floor was with hair. The coffee cups was still there with coffee. Basically they only tight the sheet bed. What hotel doesn't give towels for his own costumer to shower and on top of it calling us a liars for having them but we didn't brought them back! The lady manager just was pathetic with her service. So let me respond you now because I'm out of your country so We won't go to jail. First of all We love how you try to make us look stupid as we dont know what's up or wait for a second we forgot your country is hot!

Was definitely the best place i've stayed in thailand… very kind staff, very good service and compliments for the customers like free coffee, cookies, tea, snacks. Rooms are cleaned daily. Really enjoyed my stay, thank you SR residence staff!

Owner is rude, have emails about what kind of service people these are or you can read the upcoming article on yahoo news titled SR residence how to avoid issues in Patong.

Nice hotel, clean room. Had some problem with water but later get fixed.

For the price value this is one of the best places in Phuket. Even has a small gym. About 15 minutes from center it is located in a quiet area. Wi-Fi is reliable and staff is friendly.
