The staff are very kind. The rooms were spacious and the pool was gorgeous. They switched up the Thai hot dishes for breakfast every day with a few western style breakfast items that stayed the same (chicken sausage, home fries, sliced ham). There were small veggie, fruit, cereal, and bread stations and an egg chef. Better than a continental breakfast for sure! The food you could order for room service was varied—salami and black olive pizza was delish. The hotel is located within a ten minute walk from the beach and streets that have all sorts of convenience stores, pharmacies, money exchange centers (with much more favorable rates than the airport! ), and restaurants. About a 15 minute walk from Jungceylon Mall and Bangla Road. In all, location, food, and digs were great. Negatives include: staff’s English abilities are limited. Could be because during Chinese New Year (when I went) the staff with better foreign language abilities are off for the holiday. Another negative is the room’s telephone volume. I didn’t see a volume control and the default volume was so quiet. I could still communicate with the staff but only by straining to listen. Also, the directions to connect to the room’s Wi-Fi I couldn’t find in the room’s printed guide. None of these were big issues though, so all in all a great stay!

Lovely hotel, great bar man who does magic tricks, the only small thing that bothered us is the pool area only gets sun down one side, people reserve beds with towels then disappear until lunchtime. Beach is only 10 minutes away, however it would be nice to not have to race for beds in a morning.

I was a single person in the room and when I checked out they said that a pair of slippers were missing and charged me 150 Thai Bhat for it. I did not check if there were 2 pairs when I arrived. This one good way of making money, I was really disappointed. Please check your room when you check in.

I love the buffet breakfast. Great mix of Thai food and Western.

Currently staying at this resort. (Second floor) facing the main entrance. This hotel is possibly one of the noisiest hotels I’ve ever stayed at — echoey, could always hear doors slamming during the night, road noise is a problem and we had an adjoiningI room (which they say all rooms have) you can hear the people in the room (at all hours) having general (and sometimes loud) conversation. If you are going to stay here bring your ear plugs!

Such a amazing place super clean and the pool is the best part about the place. The rooms do feel slightly old and in my stay the door would not close but they kindly upgraded me to another room. The food is good nothing special but there is a chief there cooking eggs how you like it.

The hotel room is very comfortable and very spacious. But the restaurant is not the best, price is high compare to other restaurants so they are losing a huge opportunity to make a money. I have been staying here for 7 days and every morning breakfast is always the same nothing change on menu. Staffs are very friendly and the rest are good.

Nipa Resort is a nice place to stay when in Patong. It’s clean and the staff are really try to accommodate you. I recommend the rooms with pool access. I don’t recommend the jr suite. You’ll not like the view. Breakfast is good. It’s mostly Thai. Not very western except for eggs and toast. There is always fresh fruit. Other than breakfast, it seems the resturant is a missed business opportunity. It’s a ghost town the rest of the day. Prices are high compared to resturant’s right around the corner. The tours staff are very helpful. Housekeeping is good. I did find difficulty communicating with the night staff as they don’t understand English well. You’ll love the location! There is a scooter rental and 7/11 store right out front. Nipa is a very beautiful place! You’ll love the pool!

Beautiful place. Very clean all round. Staff couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. Food was also very nice. 10 min walk from Bangla road and the beach.

Great location. Easy stroll into town for all the action. Friendly staff, great pool access room. Great pool. The staff did an amazing job decorating the bed for my partners birthday and a lovely cake too. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it. The breakfast is very disappointing but lucky the omelettes are good. Thanks again.

Garbage, proper discrimination against the Chinese, don't know which come of courage, not free will not stay in this garbage hotel.

Big leak in the shower is despite our claim no one has intervened.
The receptionist is insolent should not ask anything otherwise it is disturbing. I would recommend another hotel it's better for your family vacation.

I have not seen in my life another hotel worse dirt everywhere bad smell in the rooms the pillow Olia to sweat the dirty sheets The bathroom was disgusting to enter has a bathtub and with a curtain was flooded because the sink released water The gel and shampoo was filled with Big pots, in the end I was crazy of happy to pucket and I'm bitter.

So far, pretty fking bad. Not knowing about our reservation. Couldn't charge the dinner to the room so I had to pay cash once already got upstairs. No Wi-Fi even though the hotel provides one apparently. The room has two separate beds, however we can at least fix this by pushing them together.

For the hotel in the service industry, for whatever reason, the baggage of tourists from the room to take out is a serious ultra vires behavior. The experience in this hotel is simply a disaster.

Nice hotel. In the center of Patong, to the nearest beach minutes 10 on foot. The pool, staff are polite and executive. Cheap restaurant, portions are really not great. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is Chinese and they are tourists so so. Good for Thai pool, till 10pm works. Clean, cockroaches and other animals are etched in a timely and effective manner. The hotel is prestigious, can be recommended.

Average hotel. A very old hotel the rooms have an unpleasant stale smell there are water leaks in the bathrooms everywhere superior room with balcony and a horrible view of the building next door… The housekeeping and service is unsatisfactory. There is better for the price… well placed in the center of Patong.

Stayed in a family room for 4 adults that comes with a king bed and two single beds. Room and bathroom was exceptionally clean and it has a large balcony facing the city. Breakfast was alright. Pool was huge, lovely and very clean. Resort is very strategically located. Only 10 minutes walk away from Patong Beach and Bangla Road, 20 minutes walks away to Jungceylon. Lots of good restaurants and convenience stores around the Resort. Overall, it was a pleasant stay :)

Nice Hotel with clean and modern Rooms. The breakfast is good aswell, I have no complaints. The next supermarket is net door, and the city center is easy to reach by foot.

This is a great hotel and not expensive & near of all of the markets.

WORST resort ive ever been to. The guy working by the pool bar is the rudest person ive ever met and when we complained about him nothing was done and he didn't even want to apologize. DONT WASTE UR MONEY AND STAY AT THIS RESORT! paying 150$ a night u would at least expect good service. Ruined our vacay!

Nipa was a excellent hotel friendly staff superb location and a good swimming pool.

The room is so relaxing, it has a blue mood light around the wall. The bed is massive and really comfortable with the lighting/aircon control just behind your head. The bathroom sink is area is rather large with a deep sink, the shower is a bath shower combo and rather nice to sit in a relax for 30mins. Good storage area for clothes and a decent sized fridge. The balcony area is big enough for two people to relax comfortably and the chairs are wooden not plastic which is a nice touch. The pool area is just great with elephants that are fountains, bubbles on the side and at the end there is a water fall with a mist feature that looks great. The breakfast has a good selection with an egg station so you can have eggs made for you. The staff are very friendly and helpful and I couldn't have had a nicer stay at the hotel.

The location is excellent. Minus-mould, old interior.

Check in was great, first room they put us in had a very strong mouldy smell which was a pool access room, could tell by the walls and even the pillows they had on the beds that they weren't clean. I asked to be moved rooms, and they changed it after complaining. Second room was great, had a mild smell of mould in the room, but least we had a pool room access. Staff were not talkative, or even smiling as much. Restaurant wasn't any better, the guy who served us couldn't understand what we had asked for (which was what time does the restaurant close) and the waitress guy seemed bit frustrated and just walked away from us and then stood in the corner looking at us while another staff member came over to help us. Pizza was not worth the money, buffet breakfast wasn't any better. Only person that was so helpful and friendly was the girl from the booth that booked our tours just by the hotel entrance. Wouldn't be going back here at all.
