Had a great time here with great fertility and helpful staff. Very near to their main Jungceylon mall which had a very big super market in it. The dulax room is very spacious and clean. Walking distance to Patong beach and 5 mins walk to bangla street. Great location with friendly staff. Definately will be back here again!

From check in, to unhygienic rooms, cockroaches, beds that are like concrete, never enough towels, roof top pool which is disgusting & filthy & not to mention the most unhelpful staff I have ever met! And that's just for starters! Book this hotel at your own peril, you have been warned, don't make the same mistake I did!

Love this place it’s in the middle Of Patong very convenient just a few minutes walk to many restaurants and shops. Rooms are clean and tidy.

Excellent hotel, very cooperative staff especially the receptionist Saiporn (something like that, don't remember exactly). The bell boys were also nice. Their rooftop pool is a must see plus they have ground floor big pool for children and adults. Nice crowd. Good sized clean rooms, good breakfast. Lots of shops, laundry and ladies parlors around. My stay was excellent and family really enjoyed. Good job Amata.

Right off the start the staff were very nice and smiley. The location is very good and close to Bengal road if that's how you spell it. The rooms were nice sized and the beds were pretty comfy. The rooftop pool was a good size and you can order food up there. Would definitely recommend this place for the price.

Nice place very well located. Five minutes walk from the Bangla street and 10 minutes from the beach. There is a small counter near the reception where you can book day trips and also can rent a two wheeler. Breakfast is awesome at the restaurant. The only drawback was my wing did not have an elevator, I had to climb two floors to reach my room.

Breakfast needs some work but overall the hotel was great. Hot water was hot. A/C blows cool and the room does not smell moldy nor does it feel damp when the air is on. Needs a gym. Other than that the hotel was a great place to stay.

Staff are generally friendly and helpful and friendly. The restaurant has a good range of Thai and Western foods that's a reasonable price. They even catch and well for my specific dietary needs. There is usually someone available who speaks fluent English which I find helpful. The rooms are clean and could probably do with some minor aesthetic maintenance. The air conditioner was a little noisy but not too bad, and the beds are clean and very comfortable. Most rooms are away from the main road and our room was mostly unaffected by traffic noise. Patong is great for bars, shopping dental tourism and getting a massage. Personally I prefer more nature, so next time I visit Phuket I will probably go to Karon beach or further South.

— We booked and paid online and requested bigger room and swimming pool side view but we been given small room on other side view when we asked the reception at hotel she told us to pay extra 300 baht for updates room per 1 day. _ we stayed for three days. Two days our room not been cleaned. We told the hotel but nobody respond.

It was an amazing experience from 23rd to 27 March 2018. Room Condition was too good, Service was Excellent, Cordial support was Mind blowing manner. Breakfast was mesmerizing (Complementary). We love to visit again & again at Amata Resort due to their Extraordinary Service & Behavior.

Good location, clean, nice pool… With a rooftop view of the city and the sunset. Minus-Hotel guide Elnur says something that does not correspond to reality, Parates… Cheating… There is always a catch… Which is silent and then unpleasant surprises, spoiled rest.

I liked the hotel. Pluses more than minuses.
Convenient location: Second line-beach 5-8 min walk; Near the largest shopping center 3-4 min; Near the main street of entertainment Bangla Road 3-5 min; Lots of cafes and restaurants, mini-markets, currency exchangers, McDonald's, burgerking, etc, all within walking distance.
The rooms are well equipped. We had room 404, pool view, room with bathroom rather than shower on the floor, balcony with table and 2 armchairs. TV, small refrigerator, air conditioning, safe, telephone, hair dryer, large wardrobe (hangers only 4), double bed… Everything can be seen in the photo. Cleaned every day, the quality of cleaning from the tip does not depend. If you want to change the bed and towels, it is better to throw them vkuchu on the floor, otherwise can just psj the same linen and tidy towels) ) ) to add shampoo, soap and shower gel, you need to remove the rest of the view. Of the minuses-almost no Russian-speaking staff, it is difficult to learn something and at check-in to explain to what room in the hotel with which filling we expect-we were in principle, that was not a shower, and a bath. When the air conditioner poorly worked, they were able to explain, but themselves could not understand, toli wait for us when expansive, toli require to be moved to another room. With 2 attempts, the air conditioner began to work properly.

We bought breakfast buffet for 250. It's more comfortable eating outside. Close to shopping mall but beach.

Nice hotel with large rooms, there are tea facilities, which for us was important. Beach towels are available at the counter or by the pool, but often end in the afternoon. Very good location-close to the beach, and a large shopping center, and market, and street bars (for lovers).

Great hotel for the price-quality ratio, friendly and smiling staff. The room was cleaned every day, hot water was always. Bedding and towels also changed every day. 2 pools, one on the roof of the main building, the second near the reception.

Out of cons there were a couple of incidents! On the last day there was not enough towels and it took about an hour to wait for the next batch, so I had to buy my own towels on the beach and the towels that were given out to the beach were old and holey, so it was particularly unprincipled! There was no breakfast of food, no more glasses, and people were still coming down, but after a complaint to the receptionist from the kitchen began to bring food, after that this did not happen again!
Basically there were no more unpleasant moments, the staff are very nice, one Taetz after learning that we are going on a tour very early to the islands, took care of us and left us with towels! Breakfasts are delicious, there is a choice!

Verry bad hotel. Self service. Online room are different. And actule are different. I will book room in hotel. But they gives me old type room. They have no lift. Only stayres.

The Location is normal. But The Standard room is just awful! I do not advise. Without A window, a view of the construction from a small dirty balcony, the entrance to the balcony from the room through a wooden door without glass. If you want a room with a transparent door, ask for payment 600 baht per day. By the way it is 1200 rubles. Multiply by the number of days. In this case, when bought a tour for 142000 for two, 13 days, we were shown another number.

Rest from 12.12.2017 to 23.12.2017 the hotel is beautiful, Clean, but the administrator which russian-speaking is very rude, the issue can not solve any, we had to change the number so still not changed and after the reception I do not go to the reception, if any issue should be solved by the administrators Thais immediately pretend that in Russian do not understand, I want that the management of the hotel on their employees paid attention to their employees it really ruined the stay and next time we will not come to this hotel and friends will not recommend it.

The location of the hotel is 5 +. Everything is close. To the beach walk 10 minutes, to Bangladeshi minutes 5 and also to Jangceylon. Two pools, one near the reception, and the other on the roof of one of the buildings. The staff is very polite. There is a 4-storey building, here it is not the most comfortable, we then in it and lived. And so everything was very pleasant. The hotel consists of 3 buildings.

Good hotel for 3 +. The hotel has 2 steep pools! One of them is on the roof of an 8-storey building, the view from which opens to the whole of Patong, only it on rainy days does not work. Great Location, great value. Exactly what you need in patong. A safe, comfortable place to go home to and leave your belongings while you explore the island.

Quiet location. Breakfast buffet. The 2 swimming pools at the reception are open from 8am to 10pm, the second on the roof of the 8th floor is open from 11 am to 8 pm.

Nice central location. Has pool with bar. Couple of good indian restaurant around. The breakfast was complimentary has nice spread. Overall cleanliness is also good.

Not a new hotel but decently maintained, some facilities are newer than others. Rooms are spacious unlike newer modern hotels which try very hard to 'utilize' as much space as possible.

Great location, close to the shopping center and close to the sea, no noise from the street. 2 pools are normal both, one on the roof, one in the courtyard. Makashnicy and fruit sell almost 30 meters from the reception. There is a grocery store just around the corner of the hotel.
Of the Cons: The view from almost all rooms-on the wall of the opposite building/apartment house.
If you bring food to your room with you-would run cockroaches (maybe so everywhere in tae?! )
Nearby there is a rental of bikes (go to the bazaar, from the shopping center, on the side of the hotel), the head of a Russian man, gasoline can be taken from him.

The room was quite large with a nice bathroom. Reasonably tidy and clean. The doors to the rooms are EXTREMELY loud when shut. Echo's through the hallway and when people come back from nightclubs and bars all early morning 3, 4 or 5am it gets very bloody annoying. The breakfast buffet is great as was nearly all the staff. Super friendly and smiling, especially the porter's, those guys were great. Roofto p pool has ocean views and a bar. Overall not bad but definitely not great.

Apart from our geographical location a little better there is no advantage to obsolete facilities general hygiene Hardball at the front desk person.

Amata was great, service and staff friendly, breakfast was good, rooms clean and very large, I had room near pool, so very nice. Location is hard to fault, walking distance to lots of restaurants and happy to stay again, when I return to Patong.

Staff are great. Yes some do not speak good English but do you speak Thai well? Keep it to simple 3 — 5 key word sentences and everything will work fine. Had incident of a/c not working and safe require change of battery both attended to within 5 minutes. Breakfast is well stocked buffet. Chef present to do egg omlettes, instant pan cake machine, daily rotation of hot food (mainstay is bacon), cereals and juices. Ps. Some reviews include rowdy traveller issues, not hotel's fault. Some of these people should learn some common sense, then common decency can be worked out to how not wake everyone up at 2 am because you are fighting in the hallway over some girl (out of your league or easy come easy go).

I have lived in the hotel Amata Resort, 5 days, we took a family 2 room 531 and 533, the us 2 times robbed, once from the safe in the room, and then of suitcases, staff are all on your side, even the police didn't just disgusting impression.

The staff are very helpful especially Art Kung and Wit always greeting us and smiling all the time. Location is very good. Room interior is clean but furniture is old need to be renovated. Staff at the breakfast restaurant not friendly at all the clock in the restaurant is 15 minutes slower than all the clocks at the lobby we almost miss our taxi because the staff at the restaurant refused to follow the clock at the lobby. We booked the taxi at 6.45am so we have 15minutes for breakfast. She insisted in opening the breakfast at 6.30am the restaurant time whereas the lobby time already showed as 6.45am. Perhaps the manager of the hotel should check that all the clock should show the correct time.
