We stayed here over 15 years ago. It seemed to be very much more upmarket then. Still a lovely place, set in beautiful well kept grounds. Walking distance to Patong Beach. Helpful friendly staff as usual in Thailand. Why, why oh why do Diamond Cliff not make one pool adults only and the other pool family friendly? Whole peaceful atmosphere of the smaller pool is totally ruined by inconsiderate people playing their own music — 3 different lots of music yesterday — and screaming kids. Awful. Just awful. And yes I’ve tried to find adult only accommodation but it’s not that easy here.

Staff were good, breakfast was great but rest of food very average.

Good hospitality services mind and good location in Patong beach very nice hotel beautiful view and clean with great breakfast I'm very happy to stay at The Daimond cllff hotel, and I would like to recommend anybody looking for a amazing hotel their stay will be excellent.

Lovely staff all helpful and smiles. Especially as they have to constantly drive guests up and down the hillside resort. Take proper shoes as thongs don’t help.

We first came to this resort in April 2019 and fell in love with it so much we’ve just arrived back and staying longer than two weeks this year.

Second time staying here all the staff are awesome and very friendly, very nice and clean hotel. Buffet breakfast is also awesome so much to choose from will stay here again when I come to Phuket again.

This hotel is amazing. Lovely restaurant with an awesome breakfast spread and an infinity pool. The rooms are huge in size. The accessibility to the main market and the Bangla street is also very easy and convenient. But when renting a scooter, bike or car on Phuket only Orange car Phuket. This is I believe the only company that offers full insurance.
Near the Beach
This hotel is right off the main strip near the Patatong Beach. Hotel front office was under contstruction, however the temporary lobby was well set up. The waterfall pool was large and comfortable with swim up bar. Hotel room had amazing views out over the beach area and amazing sunrises and sun sets acommpained the room. Renting a car for our small trips in company Orange car Phuket. The cars are good! Outstanding

Absolutely amazing resort. Staff & security guards was fantastic. Would recommend to anyone, however I would say be mindful of the cardio workout to get around. I myself loved it cause u can eat what u want then burn it off walking to your room. Steep hills and a lot of stairs. They do provide a shuttle from lobby to the rooms but still need to climb a bit. As I said I loved it tho stayin active. Pools are brilliant. Swim up bar, happy hrs. Very clean resort. 2 guys in particular and go by nicknames cheq (dining area) and cheyne (our swim up bar guy) (spelling not sure) they were both fantastic to our family of 5. Walking distance to a 7/11, patong beach, shopping and restaurants.

Best place we ever stayed in! Everyone is helpful and welcoming. They know how to make their guests feel comfortable. 2 more days to stay here and I am already sad the holiday will finish. Thanks a lot for such a lovely stay! The words are not enough.

Lovely hotel. Staff are so pleasant, and nothing is a problem for them. Rooms are spotless, and little flowers were left on our beds when we returned to our room. Nice touch. Lovely Hotel.

The staff is helpful. The place is clean and nice. The room is spacious with reasonable price. There are lots of choices for breakfast. And the restaurant is nice and the food is good quality and good price.

Great Hotel… it’s a short walk to town but that’s not a bad thing. Very private and relaxing with multiple pools at your disposal. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms a very clean.

Loved this place. Staff were excellent and polite Best breakfast buffet Room was very comfortable and loved the balcony although they could have had shade covered over it Lots of steps but great exercise and shuttle service drives you up to your to and down to lobby. Needed more transfer service to Patong and you had to make your own way back No big deal. Recommend this place for a relaxing holiday.

This resort is beautifully located in the hills overlooking the ocean. Despite the location, staying here was not enjoyable as I had anticipated. The staff are not the most accommodating. To add to its woes, there is major construction and the hotel lobby is situated in a temporary position. The rooms are stuffy and the air conditioning does not work. The sheets and towels have a damp and staid smell. The pictures of this resort online are a far reality from what awaited us when we arrived. I would not recommend this resort to anyone until construction is completed, all the rooms are renovated, the air conditioning is improved and general upkeep of the rooms, from towels to proper smelling sheets, are duly undertaken for guests.

The pools are very nice and breakfast is good but that’s about the only nice thing I can say.
Extremely rude staff, won’t even look at you when you’re trying to order and they never smile. The friendliest staff are the security guards. And just to add to the unpleasant and unfriendly service, a $200 gold necklace went missing from my room after we had two workers visit the room to fix a broken front door. I reported it and the front desk and manager did rnothing about it nor did they show any concern. I know there is a safe but you think you can trust a well known resort to just leave something like that in your room while you’re having something repaired. All I asked for was at least $100 compo and taken off of our bill which they argued and would not agree to do. As I have read other reviews stating that things have gone missing I feel quite silly but again, you think you can trust a nice resort. Would not recommend this resort at all.

The Cocktail hour by the pool was the perfect rest at the end of a long day exploring the area. Very attentive and friendly staff whom went above and beyond to make our time enjoyable.
The food was delicious, the chicken burger at the pool bar was good comfort food when I was terribly homesick one evening.
Room was beautiful, quiet to sleep at night.
Grounds staff always warm smile and greeting.
Buffet breakfast will be remembered fondly… The coffee table service was so lovely. One … two… three cups… It was so nice and always refilled kindly. I personally liked the two pool areas…

Great places to relax and have fun.

Very nice hotel, personal to small care, good restaurant, buffet breakfast at will with a wide choice, for all tastes, spacious room comfortable bed.

Lovely hotel. Staff are really friendly and the food is good. Pools are a decent size and rooms are lovely and clean. Our room was huge but we got upgraded for being on our honeymoon. Reception also lets you take towels away for the day to the beach or whatever and will make you up a breakfast if you're going on a trip. The breakfast was lovely and there was so much to choose from. Was surprised they even had porridge. Freshly made pancakes and waffles too.

The perfect hotel to place your head in Phuket. We stayed here for our wedding in Phuket for 5 nights for our small party of 9. Staff: Friendly and Very Helpful. There were also security staff that helped you cross the busy main road. Room: Very clean with air-con, we also had the room with a powerful Jacuzzi and great view of the beach. The bed was soft and comfortable. Facilities: two beautiful pools, 3 restaurants, 1 bar, a gym and a tailors Breakfast: Definitely worth it, fresh bread and fruit, pastries, hot food with sausages and eggs made how you want them. Also cold cuts and juices and coffee/ tea. Extras: Everyone was given a voucher for 1KG of fruit from the shop on site, and there was a transfer to the rooms that were further away every 5 minutes. The hotel made a beautiful spread on our bed for our honeymoon which was a really nice touch. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and stay here again!

Very friendly and the hotel is really well located, no noise problem, not many young people and very few francophones feel really good.

Not a lot of enthusiasm. Hotel with a stretch of up to 4 *. The room was very old and the breakfast was very old. The room was very relaxing. There is no basket for dirty linen, I had to throw on the floor to make it clear what to replace. Pool works only from 8 to 19 hours very uncomfortable because I want to always swim before bedtime and had to go to the sea. In the room there was a hanger malfunctioning said and showed to fix there all that was necessary to tighten the bolt to not fall so it just put in place it fell under the weight of the towel. The lake in the shower was hot but sour and did not switch to the modes always beat good pressure. …

The restaurants are delicious. The room is beautiful, spotless.

Gorgeous resort, very close to Patong Beach. The balcony from our room had a breathtaking view of the ocean cove and we watched the sunset as many times as we could. Both pools are beautiful and the entire resort is clean, modern, and well manicured. Staff was very accommodating whether room service or hailing taxis. They even assist you across the busy street to get to the beach and shopping areas. I really enjoyed my stay and absolutely would recommend it.

Fantastic hotel! The most important question is Breakfast? It was amazing, I had pancakes and bacon to start which took me back to breakfasts in USA. Then I had croissants, bread and hams just like Europe! There was so much choice! Great area around the smaller pool with no fight for a lounger and umbrella. The hotel is built on a hill so a little up hill walk to pools and restaurants, but they are worth the walk. The room, was cool when we entered and spotlessly clean, we had everything we needed and more, including a beach bag to use and a complementary basket to take to the fruit shop and fill with fruit!

Hotel old do not say, the room sheets soaked also do not change, even six days of accommodation, dirty a word, pay is the more high-grade seaview Diamond Suite, but the same as the general room, the so-called sea only a line can not see, unless a chair to stand on the table to see the sea. The breakfast was bland.

It's a mega cool hotel! Eat without looking! It's all at the highest level. For info there is a deposit, for example for 13 nights with two adults and a child $300. Very welcoming staff. At the entrance give a welcome compote)
The room is comfortable with a bathroom and shower.

Dream, overlooking the endless sea!

It was a pleasure to stay here with my family. We enjoyed many wonders of staying at a resort: fast, delicious room service which I would definitely recommend trying the Pad Thai. The water slide was incredibly fun and a very exhilarating experience — despite many people assuring me it was small compared to the ones at water parks. The people at the front desk however where very slow (around half an hour) in the process of checking us out, and made us considerably late for our plane, it was not missed — but definitely a close call! The bell boys where helpful in calling us taxis and tuk tuks, and the there was an in hand tourist advisor near the front desk which gave us splendid information and advice.

A tub with a view — quite enjoyable I must say! Friendly and helpful staff, decent service, great price. Best value for money guaranteed.

Pros: Great breakfast on the veranda overlooking the sea.
Cons: Mosquitoes, No beach (opposite. Across the road with heavy traffic there is a small, dirty and rocky beach where the water flows from the hotel), pools on the territory only children's. Located on the mountainside. All the time you have to drag up and down the stairs. It would be possible to list the disadvantages for a long time. In my opinion, the hotel is absolutely not worth the money that asks.

Very nice resort. The view from my room was amazing. It has two pools but they close them at 7 in the evening which is stupid. Also, room service and house keeping are not up to the mark. Overall it has nice a view and is full of greenery. Its a better option for families and if you're travelling alone then avoid it.

Beautiful resort situated near the Patong beach. Staff are very friendly and pools are great fun for kids. Famous restaurants are also walking distance if you prefer to eat out. Breakfast is high quality. Our stay was very pleasant.

Great location, excellent views. Peaceful pool areas and high standard restaurants. Would recommend, however not recommended for wheel chair or people with walking difficulties due to the amount of steps and steep road gradients.

I love this hotel. They gave us a free room upgrade with a jacuzzi. There are 2 pools, a water slide and so much more. The only problem with this hotel is the Wi-Fi, it keeps disconnecting.

Great hotel, beautiful grounds, nice rooms, lived in a room where there was a jacuzzi. Very diverse breakfasts. Friendly staff. A 5-10 minute walk from the patong.

My partner and I booked through Luxury escapes, And was so happy when we got here and were greeted by the most lovely staff, stunning view and great location. the ocean view pool / bar / cafe area is such a great place to relax, the range of cocktails they had was amazing, so after a day of walking around, sitting by the pool with a drink was a treat. We got a buffet breakfast everyday which had a mixture of western and Thai foods, the ocean view Cafes food was very good and we also went to a couple of buffet dinners. We had a bbq seafood, and regional Thai night and they were very very good as well. Would highly recommend. The Italian and Thai restaurants are also very nice. We had a set menu for both (as part of our package) but the menus for both look delicious. Good locations, a 200 baht drive to Jungceylon. The diamond spa is gorgeous as well. We had two treatments while we were there. Definitely something you have to do while there. I would highly recommend this place. Only negative I had was that our room was quite a fair way to the back of the residence and as its on a cliff, there were lots of stairs. But there is a shuttle that takes you up. We just kept missing it. It was good exercise!

After staying at the sun sea and sand hotel and had a terrible experience we arrived here totally drenched from the rain! They ran tonis and got towels and gave us the most amazing hotel room with jaccuzzi and everything! We experienced an amazing holiday even though it rained all day for ten days and some amazing restaurants just up the road! Massages in town etc! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Nice room. Helpful, polite, depending on room we, had a nice view. Perfect distance to jungsalong shopping area. Resort can give u a good walking workout as it is very hilly. Great to burn off all that awesome food you eat. I would come back here again.

I have booked the hotel unfortunately for 3 weeks…
The hotel is in a state of renovation – and some of the areas are already closed for renovations! This makes many noise nuisances.
The facility is definitely beautiful…
By the way, you have to be well on foot;) — many many stairs and long distances!

Located north of Patong, away from the hustle and bustle but close to all walking activities, this is the perfect place to rest in Phuket.
The hotel is large and clean, the pools are superb and the breakfast buffet is incredibly varied!
Feel free to take an Ocean Jacuzzi suite… For fun!

I can honestly say I have nothing negative to say about my stay here. One little problem with the air con was fixed the day I reported it. Rooms very clean, breakfast to cater for every appetite, polite and helpful staff, even a little vehicle to take you up to the higher levels of the hotel with an always-smilling driver. This place is pure luxury.

I'd like to visit Phuket and this resort again:).

After our trip through Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand, we stopped in Phuket for some much needed rest and relaxation. We were so excited to stay at Diamond Cliff Resort and Spa and it definitely lived up to our expectations. The resort is huge and very hilly so you will definitely get a workout going to and from your room and to the fitness center and pools. However, the hotel does provide golf carts if needed. Customer service from the moment we arrived was wonderful. We loved the complimentary fruit coupon which allows you to go to the fruit shop and select up to 5lbs of your choice of fruit — — what a nice touch! We booked a room with two full beds which was gorgeous — — we were so happy that the beds came with mosquito nets and loved the furniture style. We had balcony which was perfect for enjoying the cool evening breeze. If you are facing the ocean, the resort is at the farthest right end of Patong Beach and a bit of a trek to the main area. However, you can easily catch a taxi or rickshaw from the stand in front of the hotel. The main road is a bit dangerous to cross so we were thankful that the hotel provides a crossing guard to assist guests. Though the beach area is small and not the best (you will have to cross the road) you can easily walk 10-15 minutes farther down the beach and find a nicer spot. If you don't mind tanning poolside, there are two main pools at Diamond Cliff.

Very nice hotel, well located away from the tumult but close to all the activities of Patong. Spacious rooms very well decorated. A very attentive and smiling staff. A very good breakfast buffet. We will go back.

Awesome hotel! Despite the fact that it is necessary to cross the road to the beach is dobrât′sâ (there is a mužiček that the Clipper stops, so that the transition happens quickly! )
