Stayed here for 4 nights. It's a 10 min walk from Mae Haad pier and in a relatively quiet location, perched on a small hill top pretty close to Sairee beach. I chose Koh Tao Heritage as it was close to my Dive Centre in Mae Haad and also within reach of Sairee. Upon arrival, Allisia the front desk staff greeted me with a huge smile. I was also given a much needed welcome drink. The room was basic but sufficient. Very spacious and airy. A large bed and comfortable clean sheets. The room was equipped with a small fridge, and hairdryer. Wi-Fi and air-conditioning in the room throughout my stay were great as well. In summary, a great deal for the price.

Nice, big place with access to sea and private pool and beach. Right at the start of the popular nightlife street, yet quiet. It looks like a former high-class, grand resort fallen a bit in decay. For what you pay it is totally worth it! As for the ants, welcome to a tropical country, just don't leave food in your room and they don't bother you;)

Never ever! We booked the room only because it was very cheap — but that's the only good think here. In our rooms there are ants all over and we could't sleep because it's sooooooo hot in here. Don't ever go there, it not even worth the 500 THB/ 2 Persons. The room is also very dirty and almost everything (including the toiletseat, the light, the chair … is broken). There are plenty more hostels on the island that are also cheap but 10000 times better.

For the price rooms were stunning, best place we stayed on our visit to thailand. So clean, staff lovely. Still work going on but prettt quiet. Great location, 1 min from beach and main bars and restaurants.

Allisha was amazing and helped us out immensely! Everyone here was super nice and the rooms were great too. Will be back if I return to Koh Tao!

Koh Tao Heritage is in a good location just off the main sairee beach strip of restaurants and bars. The rooms are spacious, clean and have a good bathroom. The accommodation is let down by the construction site currently going on just outside it and the price range. Namely that it has relatively few facilities compared to similar priced accommodations nearby e. G pool, free breakfast.

Great value for money! It very cheap but we had a nice room and the staff were really friendly. The pool was lovely and lead to a private beach. Free coffee included!

Worst decision of the whole holiday! We had bed bugs and had to beg the apathetic receptionist to get another room (we did then though). English can be bad too.
No drain of the faucet in the bathroom, shower even worse than in other cheap hotels… Comfortable beds for Thailand!

The worst hostel I've been on for a trip.
The roof had holes covered with toilet paper, the bathroom sucisimo gave me a fix until I showered. The bathroom mirror rusted by moisture, the water from the pile falls directly to the ground, where behind the toilet there is a hole that also serves as a shower sink.
The horrible bed, full of ants I dared not inquire more in case there was any larger inhabitant.
The door (whole glass) did not close well so there was a gap by which anything could enter.
The air conditioner didn't work.
For price and performance up to a hostel with 20 bunks is better than this, if you hurry, even better sleep outside than inside. Fatal all!

It was in very bad condition and neglected. There was only one window on the same side as the door so we can not have fresh air in the room. The toilet hasn't got a window neither, it is just separated from the room, so the same air… The toilet seat was broken as well. We got a master key for the safe and we can not change it, so we didn't find it too safe to leave valuables there. There were no forniture in to room. Only a chaire. So we can not put thing out of the baggage. The reception was ok, not too friendly but ok. The probleme was that they really do not speak English. The only good thing was that the hotel is very close to Sairee beach and close to tha main pier as well. And they clean the rooms every day and give new towels, toilet paper and soap. After all I did not advise ti stay here. It was very very hot in the room.

Value for money is on point.

All liked, there is BASEJN, its beach can snorklit transparent water, spacious room without pathos, but hot without air conditioning, with konderom norms, near stall with drinks of necks…

Miss Pui and her staff are incredible hosts. Their rooms are spacious, immaculate and incredibly comfortable. Close enough to the shops, nightlife and beach without being noisy. The pool is magnificent.

Staff members and owner most welcoming and could not do enough for us as guests. Rooms very comfortable. Water/Tea & coffee etc. Replenished daily. Clear information given about room cleaning such as leave key at reception when you want room serviced. Magnificent swimming pool next to ocean and 2 min walk to a beautiful beach. Definitely will return to this resort and can highly recommend.

You pay what you get. Rly cheap but they offer not a good quality.

You leave the base step in particular, cheap only that.

It Seemed to be a good place but it is totally neglected and abandoned, the pool to clean, the toilet a shame, the only positive was the girl who waited for us, who was quite nice although not speak much English. You can find much better places for the same price.

The manager of the hotel poses as an outsider so impossible to discuss properly. Bedroom haven't air conditioning. Do not reserve on booking because she wouldn't refund you after that! I advise against.

Standard rooms are a disgrace to humanity.
