Love this resort. The staff are among the most friendly I have ever met. The even provide a free shuttle service between the resort and the port or just to the town. Dive school here was very good also.

Great service, wonderful rooms. The staff was very nice, surprised me with special service for my birthday. One thing to note is that it's up the hill (~10-15 min walk) from the main road of shops and the resort consists of lots of stairs. They do have a shuttle, but not that frequent. Otherwise a great resort.

Cozy hotel. Staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. Just be aware that it is located in a hill and you will have to either walk for around 10 minutes to get to Sairee or take their shuttle. Breakfast is delicious.

Nice hotel and very friendly staff. Very quiet and calm, not to many guests. They offer transport to the centre if you don't want to walk down/up the hill. Otherwise it only takes 10 minute to walk. The restaurant could be a lot better but the view from the rooftop is amazing.

Fantastic experience! I had to go to hospital and we could only make it to Koh Tao for two of the four nights booked. The hotel were so lovely and when we arrived at the Tarna, our room had been upgraded so that I would be more comfortable during our stay. The rooms and resort is absolutely stunning. The location is great! Yes, it’s a steep (short) walk back up to the hotel from the beach but it’s honestly not too far. If you’re unable to make the walk, the hotel also offers free shuttles. They also offer free transfers to and from the piers. We also received complimentary deserts waiting for us in our room every night too. Koh Tao is a beautiful island and I would recommend you visit for the scuba or snorkelling experience, or just to stay at the Tarna for a little bit of luxury! Would love to return. Some tips: don’t book Lomprayah Ferry — they’re packed and overrated. Go for SeaTran instead!

We were with the first guests at this hotel 2015. We had the room with private pool. It was the most beautiful rooms, the best bed and the most beautiful hotel complex we had in all of Thailand. You have a great view of the sea and all over Koh Tao.
The staff is super friendly and helpful. It's our first choice when we're back in Koh Tao. The beach is not far away and restaurants and bars as well!

Hotel in the middle of the island of the blow in quiet but just 10 minutes walk from the center for the animation and the beach otherwise the hotel has a free shuttle service to the city center if you do not like to walk. The staff is wonderful in kindness. The breakfast is grand there are for all nationalities. The rooms are perfect, nicely decorated. We have a room of almost standard 30 35m2 with everything it takes inside I strongly advise!

Great place, quiet with swimming pools. Far from the busy Sairee.

Gorgeous hotel with excellent service and breakfast! The perfect distance from Sairee. You feel tucked away but you are still walking distance from the amazing bars, restaurants and beaches.

Great service. Each room is different and some rooms are much better than others even though it is under the same rate.

Loved this hotel. Wish we could have stayed longer! Perfect for families and honeymooners! Fang (one of the hotel staff) always made sure we had everything we needed by the pool. I'd highly recommend staying here!

Mind blowing place. We stayed there for 5 days. The service is out of the world. The rooms are massive. We got a pool view room. The hotel is on a hill side facing the sea. The views are stunning. Overall superb place.

The facility is amazing. The services are really bad. The politeness and efficiency of the staff isn't what you expect for that price. The breakfast is very disapointing as well.

One of the best hotels I've been to in Thailand. Me and my wife spent seven nights here and could easily stayed here a couple of more weeks. If you enjoy peaceful surroundings this is absolutely a must. Great views, very clean and super friendly staff! The food is great and very affordable. We ate several lunches and dinners here. They have yoga classes and great diving instructors. Of all the beds I've slept in during my visits in Thailand, this is without a doubt the most comfortable. We lived in room 104 with a semi-private pool. Well worth the extra cost. If / when I return to Koh Tao I will stay at Tarna Align again!

Great hotel. Two issues that I already knew by the other reviews: 1) too many stairs — good exercise though but if you are physically impaired this hotel is not for you. 2) Privacy on some rooms — we were "selected" to be in one of those rooms that has lack of privacy. Next time I will explicitly ask to not be in one of those. Or get a more expensive one. Everything else was great. Location is 15min up hill walk from the beach but we rented a bike and that resolved our problem. I totally recommend this hotel.

Clean and comfortable rooms, super friendly and helpful staff, and and the excellent diving school makes this resort a super venue.

Fantastic! The big drawback is the complete see thru Glas to both the shower and the TOILET. And it's a good walk up hill, and a nice super market close by.

I only did the diving with Chic, but they were awesome. The resort looked beautiful from the outside. The pools are great. Fabien was an awesome dive instructor, he was very patient and knowledgeable. Someone you were automatically comfortable with.
