Most building are aged. Might because of useing natural material. Very private. Very beautiful. Amazing place.

Great place, come here every time. Advantages: Excellent beach with a sunbeds and a bay with a bunch of fish. Even divers bring here to dive, ie under the water there is really something to see. In the evening you can walk to the pier and 7eleven, quite avoidable distance, even with children. Near the turn to the main road is a great café with super prices. In the morning breakfasts-a Swedish table and a plate with watermelons, pineapples in the room.
The only drawback is the price, but there is nowhere to go.

This place should be torn down & burned. The huts they call villas are in very bad condition. Considering the price they charge no one should book this place. Jansom Beach / Bay might be the only reason to visit this place but do not stay in here! There are rats, cockroaches, lizards. Also the staff is surly.

Wonderful private​ Villas​ and​ Resort, located​ at​ the​ cliff in​ the​ jungle. ​ The​ room​s​ are​ very​ clean​ and​ unique style. ​ There​ is​ the​ private​ beach​ itself​ and​ walk​ 20metres to​ beach​ bar. ​

The time in the Bamboo hut was fabulous. The location and the tranquility are simply madness. Our cabin was Big & clean and from the bedroom you had a perfect view of the sea. The hotel beach is very nice. The breakfast offers a good selection. The only downside is the wide way to the restaurant and reception. The price/performance ratio is very good. The hotel is definitely worth a visit.

I book through one of the main sites, with free cancellation. 3 days after cancelling the reservation I am charged the full amount, more than a month to get the money back partly because the property has never responded, bad service of both parties.
I highly recommend.

Just simply the best 4 Star resort in Thai-style on Koh Tao.

Upon our arrival we were told that our room is not available but instead we were offered different and bigger for the same price so I can't complain. All staff are very friendly, rooms are clean and nicely decorated.

I come here for the second time. I love this place. The villa is located on the hillside, there are very steep climbs, so older people and families with young children will be difficult to move around.
The beach is small but very beautiful. You can swim with a mask and watch the diversity of the underwater world. Masks and vests provide free for residents of the villa. The beach is a little bit small.
There is a café on the beach. You can drink cocktails, fresh, smoothies and eat. Offer local spicy food and burgers with French fries.

Very cool resort! Built directly into the rocks. Beautiful rooms with sea views. Very good breakfast. The nearest place is available. The resort has its own small beach, which is great for snorkeling. Have seen 2 blue-point stingrays there in one day.

Our room was huge and was like The Treehouse Mansion built into the rocks with a private beach with great snorkeling and also private stairs from your room down to the water. There was also a very cute dog. Every Resort in Thailand has dogs and I love it. All of my pics are of just our private area.

Unfortunately, it was not the right performance for the price. We had a superior room, but he was quite busy, the laundry spotty and we had some small pets. The bathroom was large and beautiful but the facility itself would require a few gardeners very much. The staff is very committed, but the pronunciation in English is unfortunately difficult to understand.

Accommodation was pretty good, only downside is location if your wanting a view then be specific. Other then that the buffet and dinner was great, staff we're great. Built on the face of the mountain so some walking is req'd to get to private beach. Worth it though. "starlight rooftop restaurant" is a must. Take insect repellent and Gopro for snorkelling.

PROS: •Excellent view if right room taken (sunset cottage/ pool room) •Best beach in koh tao (we went to all other beaches) •very friendly staff •dinner has to be taken at the resort restaurent, be sure to be there by 6:00pm the view will kill you. Make sure you book in advance to get the best seat next to the water •Free snorkelling equipment and life jacket and free kayaks to use. •Tipping the staff goes a long way in service CONS: •Breakfast variety isnt that big •Parts of the resort are very far apart. Like the reception to the beach is probably 700M •Not wheelchair friendly at all. Dont bring old people or disability people here. Might be difficult to get around •bathroom isnt connected to room so at night you have to exit the room, get your blood drained by mosquitos until your in the toilet. Overall I had a blast at this resort, much better than the 3 stars it had. If I were to recommend between an luxury hotel and this one I would say charm churee becausr of its private beach and customer service.

Nice rooms great locations.

So far really horrible. Hot water was not working (they fixed it after 3time pushes), no Wi-Fi connection in our expensive Delux room, so many insect inside of room including big cockroaches! Guys, especially don't go to order anything at the bar! They are really terrible! Foods are not eatable instant, and price. Look at my photo… they charge 120BTS for stupid mango juse, AND 10％ of service fee… plus tricky VAT… what is this… seriously, don't go there. Basically, we have now exactly same experience as "auu auv", check out his reviw.

Probably the best hotel on Tao.

Pleasant, quiet location. Different well equipped rooms. Room changes are possible without any problems.

I can check in before 1200, so late.

Had booked a bamboo hat and the views of the sunset was 1a. Service is top notch and the own Bay to the snorkeling is great. No 5 stars due to the wide routes into the city, breakfast, etc. A shuttle service from the front desk to the bamboo huts is offered and very reliable. All in all the perfect place for a holiday.

Idyllic Location & Views, Attentive Staff & Beautiful Island Truly amazing 10 day stay here about a year ago. Could not fault it at all. We were greeted with smiles and care after our long overnight travel and were able to get what felt like an upgrade to a lovely large bungalow overlooking the bay. It has its own private beach which is great for snorkeling. Breakfast is great and the staff are so gentle, smiling and genuinely interested in your experience. Tip — for guests, you can get food made to order at breakfast too if the buffet for some strange reason is not to your liking. Tip — for hotel, answer your emails! We wanted to book direct to save you the commission from the OTA we used but we got no response. We really cannot wait for a repeat journey! Room Tip: The ones closer to the ocean are nicer than the ones further up the hill IMHO.

It is a scam. No reserves, this Haggard hotel, appalling and nothing well maintained facilities. Hygiene is conspicuous by its absence. We decided to go and have left us quite clearly that not they returned us nothing of what you have paid, or a night.

Rat ran across the room！ This hotel is totally a nightmare! The room is full of musty smell, ants everywhere, unexpectedly I see a rat running across the room and rat droppings in bed! After paid extra money to upgrade to deluxe room, there's no warm water in the shower! The hotel staff tried to fix the shower but the shower totally broken on the following day! While I was trying to call reception, the telephone didn't work too! So the staff decided to move us again, to a narrow wet room with open bath room, when we check the shower, the water just flow out of the bath room, so the staff show us another room, due to the rain one hour ago, there's water and sand flush from higher place, there's a mass in front of the room, so we have to go to another room… we wasted our time on packing and moving around! The hotel staffs are nice except that lady in reception, always show us a serious face with rude attitude. Wi-Fi signal was so weak so you can hardly get on，and frequent power cut is really not big deal~

Surprise, 700rmb independent Villa, very clean and very spacious. Some bugs, note closed in a timely manner.

Very nice. Rustic resort in the middle of the jungle. They have a fantastic beach, jamson bay, great for snorkeling.

Very nice complex with bungalows of all categories. Quiet location, but to the island's main town are within walking distance. Ideal for snorkeling, coral reefs in the vicinity. Good service. Good place to stay and to relax. See my pics.

Wonderful 5 stars Paradise in the very quite Ko Tao island, just 10 minutes walk from the center of Jansom Bay. Excellent continental breakfast and private beach / private bay and snorkeling/diving center, different solutions for different budgets all in wood bungalows thai style: from the villa front beach to the apartments up in the jungle. Go for a Sunset Villa and enjoy the outside shower.
