Swedish owned classy/nice sport resort. The owner is welcoming and knows most of his guest by name. There are a lot of kids which means the pool is often full of babies and noisy around rush hours. The Muay Thai gym is clean and inviting. Well equiped. Big parking for scooters and cars. Good pool for sunset.

Love it. Been training muay thai for 7 years in Finland so for me its perfect, good trainers good facilities for training and the resort has a nice staff and decent rooms with pretty good breakfast. Id say 5/5 stars if u wanna combine training hard and enjoying a holiday :}

Clean rooms, friendly staff, quiet at night, and an excellent pool. Highly recommend this place for a stay on Koh Lanta.

The trainers were not really friendly, I'd recommend checking out another place. For example, this was my first time doing Muay Thai and the guy was not patient at all. He even asked another trainer to take his place in the middle of the lesson. I bought a 10-times membership but only went once because the first experience was so bad. Kudos to the Russian guy, he's a nice fella.

Very nice place to be. Just a few minutes to the beach. Very clean rooms. Very friendly employees.

We stayed in the Lanta Sport Resort just after the new managers took over in 2016/17 and they'd already made a huge difference to the biggest issues that let the place down under the previous management…
It was pretty much booked up when we left, so you'd better be quick to get a spot here.

The pool is beautiful! The Muay Thai guy is just down the stairs at the back… It's a short walk to the beach… Swedish Hospitality with Thai Smiles!

Good Mauy Thai gym with great coaches for private and individual classes. My girlfriend did a group class and they keep it girls and guys which was handy for beginners. Highly recommended. The accommodation is nice modern and clean. Nice lobby and bar area. Can be a bit loud during the day as it is very family friendly.

Highly recommend the Muay Thai training, as a total beginner I was very well taken care of. You can train in group as well as with private trainer.

Lanta Sport Resort is the best place I've ever stayed at in Thailand and I've stayed at many nice 4-5 star resorts. Myself and my friend stayed at the pool side rooms. The cleanliness was amazing, the rooms were cleaned everyday. We trained Thai Boxing every morning, the setup of the classes is really good for beginners as well as for intermediate students. The trainers were all very professional and super friendly, always with a smile. The staff and the Swedish management are so friendly and professional. I will for sure come back here and I can highly recommend this place.

Nice pool but also anyone when they teach scuba when you want to swim.

I have spent just over 5 months here in 5 separate trips since Jan 2015 when I first discovered Lanta Sport Resort ☺x I absolutely love it-the staff and trainers are wonderful and we are more like family now, the apartments are fantastic-spacious, modern and have everything you need including a kitchen in some if you're staying long term. The facilities are great-pool, restaurant, bar etc and of course 'Lanta Muay Thai International Academy'! The trainers are extremely experienced and knowledgeable-the gym caters from complete novice to the experienced fighter and in high season you get the opportunity to fight on the island (or other islands) which I've done several times x Christian and Camilla are the best owners and have done wonders with the resort! Highly recommend it here whether you want to train, relax, stay long term, short term. It's great for families, couples and people travelling in their own.

If you're looking for beautiful surroundings, and a clean, comfortable, inviting place to stay in Koh Lanta, look no further than Lanta sport resort. The accommodation, the people, the food, the service — just perfect. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Joy and other staff always went the extra mile to assist us with our needs. The pool is amazing and clean! The facilities and location are excellent including: — short walk to a nice beach — great pool — world class muay thai fitness center — extensive activities and tours programme — excellent restaurant and bar etc etc Overall, our experience couldn't have gone smoother. Next time we visit Koh Lanta, we will absolutely stay at Lanta sport resort.

Wow, what a place! We moved 3 times on Lanta until we found this gem. We had a gorgeous & spacious poolside apartment. The lovely staff cleaned our room twice a week and we got free water everyday. The swimming pool was enormous. Just perfect.

We LOVED staying here. Christian and Camilla, Joy and the team bring so much love and passion to this place since taking over in early 2017. The views from the (pool facing) rooms are stunning and include sunsets almost every day — weather permitting. The pool is large and perfect to do some laps or just have a little dip, the restaurant food is of good quality and the team do their best to fulfil every wish, from getting laundry done on the same day to organising a pool party, to stocking up on the favourite drink, cleaning the room and replacing towels every day — the team is on top to make this a really comfortable stay. The rooms themselves feel spacious and modern, calm and cosy at the same time and have all the amenities one needs, including kettle, fridge and fully working Air Con. Most rooms have a balcony as well. All in all a really lovely experience and we've tried a few places around Long Beach area over the months. Thank you again for everything. See you next year for sure :-)

It's a great place with good vibes. A lot things are going on at this place and it's good located and quiet in the night. You should try the Muay Thai — it's a great start in the day or workout. Highly recommend this place!
