I've been to a few hostels so far, but none have been as amazing as stay with hug. The staff and the owners are incredibly friendly and have made me feel like home every day, next time when I'm in Thailand I will definitely visit them again! If u are thinking of going to Chiang-May, Stay with hug

The hospitality here is nothing short of amazing apple the owner plus her staff are some of the most beautiful host I ever encounter. The proved maps for us to get around, tour packages and much much more. They treat you like family here. There prices are fair and I highly recommend this place to any of my Canadian travelers.

Very clean, great location, great staff, felt like family!

The place is nice and cosy, seating outside and inside is available. But the doors are always open and the room is not air conditioned. The dishes variety in the menu is very decent. There was a sign "coffee and bakery" at the entrance but there were just 2-3 types of packaged cakes on the display. Coffee was good though.

HUG is exactly as it is advertised. Clean, perfect location, great for groups, couples, or solo travelers. There's free breakfast, a cheap laundry service, and HUG's owner Apple is so helpful with airport transfers and recommendations. We were able to book all of our excursions (elephants, cooking class, etc) at the front desk the moment we arrived. Thank you for a very pleasant and memorable stay!

Me and my girlfriend are staying here right now. Great service and the staff are all very helpful. Natty is great amd friendly, and so is the owner of the place Apple. Me and my girlfriend recomend this hostel!

West of the Three Kings Memorial Square, the location is perfect. There is a Chinese front desk, a spacious public area and a parking lot. It's great!

Hug Poshtel & Activities is the place to stay in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Apple is more than just the owner, it’s like having a life long friend from Thailand you came to visit and they made sure your stay was as comfortable and convenient as it could be. The hostel is all new construction with various room types for every guest. The dormitory bunks have individual lights and plugs for charging as well as curtains for privacy and comfortable beds and soft pillows. When guests say this is the nicest hostel you’ll ever stay in they are not exaggerating. It is truly a Poshtel (posh hostel) with a cafe that’s open from 7 am to 10pm everyday serving many dishes, desserts and drinks. The staff go out of their way to ensure that your stay is comfortable and provide access to all the activities Chiang Mai has to offer. I will be returning to Hug with friends! Thank you Apple for being a great host.

All in all this place exceeded my expectations! I stayed longer than planned in this city because of the great people who run this poshtel.
I wish all the best to the lovely owners who make this place a wonderful place to stay in Chiang Mai. They manage to make everybody happy while staying in their place. They built a beautiful poshtel with great facilities, big rooms with AC, comfortable bunk beds with light and curtains, big lockers, spacious bathrooms with many showers and toilets, hairdryers and big mirrors… and of course, they have a great staff providing amazing service and a super clean place at all times.
A superb Thai breakfast with fruit is included in the price and there are many bikes available for guests' use. There is a big parking place if guests are coming by car or by scooter too.
By the time I was leaving Chiang Mai they were opening a coffee place … no wonder that this place is having such good reviews everywhere!
They deserve the success they have and much much more!
… Can't wait to go back to see "Stay with Hug' family" again! Miss you already!

Amazing hostel in the centre of the old town! Amazing location, easy access to all sights, transport, food and weekend walking markets. The owner Apple went above and beyond to make you feel welcome, anything she could help with she did. Even offered to take us to the bus station in her own car at no extra cost. All other staff super friendly and helpful also. Very reasonably priced for what you get, clean and spacious rooms, lockers under beds, very comfy pillows, clean bathroom and big area outside to socialise.
