We came to stay with my family. We were most impressed with the outstanding hospitality. The staff is so polite. The hotel is spotless and comfortable. We would highly recommend it.

Beautiful rooms, delicious food and very friendly staff! The staff were very accommodating and helpful. Our room service and design were phenomenal. The breakfast by the river side was also outstanding! Would recommend to anyone visiting Chiang Mai. Definitely would return in the future.

I was impressed by all the staff within the hotel. Such a excellent service, very polite soft spoken. And the foods are just right. Definitely bring my family back next time we visit Chiang Mai! I would give them 10 stars if I could. See you soon Aruntara.

My husband and I first stayed here on our wedding night and have celebrated every anniversary here since. Aruntara provides 5 star accommodation, atmosphere, location, and service for a very affordable price. They are attentive to detail and great at special occasions. And they have done a wonderful job adapting the hotel according to the current covid precautions without compromising the guests' experience. We're already looking forward to next year!

He took for three nights three double rooms for 6 people, a couple, two 9-year-old girls my mother-in-law and a friend. My mother-in-law is very bad during the trip but we still manage to fly and get to the hotel where we met with my mother-in-law in a wheelchair because of the dizziness that did not even make her stand alone and therefore needed an adult who was herself with her. Usually my mother-in-law sleeps with a little girl but in this case it was not even conceivable, so we asked to keep the same three rooms but to be able to sleep with the girls because they had never slept in hotel rooms alone and were afraid. Instead of three rooms with two people each we would then occupy the same three rooms with the same six people but respectively 3 in one room 2 in another and 1 in the last. Moreover, the change was motivated by a health problem that they were able to see directly upon our arrival. Answer: 80 euros in more for night come tripla supplement.
Bandits who take advantage of people in need should not be able to work in tourism.

Booked this, didn't stay there. When we asked for a refund, they said no despite our reservation was during the New Year when every hotel is full.

We stayed here 5 nights in the white elephant suite. This is a wonderful. Boutique hotel, at a good location relatively close to the night market. Certainly worth going back. A couple of points that need to be highlighted. The swimming pool and gym are really small, and as the flooring in the rooms are wood they tend to creak a lot.

Very friendly, good service in general, site in a busy area, but there is security that directs traffic. The night there are many noises.

My wife and I came for our 40th anniversary and our room was done up in a “honeymoon get up” which we loved very much. An excellent place to spend 3 relaxed, tranquil days. Very helpful, smiling staff. Great 90 minute massage on the second day. The riverside location is excellent for just sitting in the evening. The breakfast is superb, with the option of having it in air conditioned comfort or out by the quietly flowing river with birds chirping and doves cooing. The complimentary drop at 7 p. M. To the night market was highly appreciated. We sampled genuine local food and shopped for souvenirs. We highly recommend this hotel.

Second time back stayed a few extra night again they impressed me and my friend. The staff is very accommodating nothing was a problem had with just grace that the Thai bring. The rooms are good size and breakfast in the morning as the sun rose over the river just magical great choices had a chance to use pool service again the food was great. When looking in getting around they have bikes and the Staff I found help me getting to places and getting me a good price A HUGE Thank You.

Pros first. It's very quite and peaceful from the moment you enter the hotel to the moment you leave. The food is excellent; they offer Thai and American dishes and both are enjoyable. The staff is very helpful and very kind. The pool is on the smaller side but it's still nice. There is an area in the back that's by the Ping river; sitting there will take you away from the noisy streets and into a calm wilderness. They offer massages here for a decent price. Now to the cons. The keys are old-school and are tied to a wooden stick the size of a ruler. It's annoying to carry around. There is Wi-Fi here, but it's more on the slow side. Other than that, it's an amazing hotel for the price!

Very romantic hotel nicely situated on the Ping River. Great place for a quiet stay with your significant other.

This place is an oasis in Chiang Mai. You step off the bustling streets with Tuktuks and Peds and dirt and commotion into a calm air. Conditioned world of impressive interior decor and excellent service. The staff are all very helpful including the security guard who went out of his way to get us a tuktuk. The reception, grounds and resteraunt are all brilliant and well looked after and the view onto the river is unique in Chiang Mai. The pool was nice and clean and the free towels were very useful. The room was enormous with the most comprehensive mini bar I'd ever seen. Large Rainfall Shower head with plenty of power in the wet room and a massive counter with sink and mirror on it. The ac was quiet and powerful and the bed was comfy if not a little firm. Absolute bargain for the money.

We just got done staying here and we were very happy! It is a little out of the way but it is a 2 dollar taxi ride to the night market and other more touristy places. I enjoyed the peace and quiet. The back lawn is a great place to sit and watch the beautiful river flow by. The rooms are upscale and have a beautiful dark wood and brass thing going on that gave it a unique and beautiful look. The morning buffet was great with lots of coffee, an omelet bar, yogurt, cereal, local dishes, and fruit. The staff was always very friendly and helpful to us whenever we indicated that we need them. We were very happy and will happily stay there again!

What a great place to stay! We wanted a more intimate atmosphere and it is exactly what we got. Small number of rooms meant the staff new exactly who we were and were extremely friendly, professional and helped us with everything we needed. They booked us an elephant sanctuary trip and ringside Muay Thai boxing seats at the stadium, gave great advice for food and shopping. Beautiful layout and architecture throughout the premises. The location is along the river, southeast of most of the common Chiang Mai areas but a quick tuk tuk ride away. We chose the white elephant suite and absolutely loved it. Highly recommended and will be sure to stay there if we ever get the chance to go back to Thailand.

Nice hotel. A bit out of the way. On Ping river. Cleaning could be better. Room smelled of mildew. Pillows on bed are the worst I have ever slept on in an upscale hotel. Service could be improved as every day I sat by the pool and no one ever asked me if I would like something to drink or eat!

Beautiful Hotel! Quiet and Peaceful Retreat outside the city center. Used their free bikes every day to bike into the city walls. All of our excursions were able to come pick us up here. We booked the Elephant Room and it was HUGE! We visited in November during a busy time but, often felt like we had the hotel to ourselves. Be sure to carry the address card with you for taxi's (the hotel provided it for us upon arrival). "tara" literally means along the river so don't be surprised if they are confused about what hotel you are staying at.

Probably the most beautiful hotel I have ever been in. Everything is simply perfect.
