Amazing hotel super luxurious The afternoon tea is a must really Attention to details, spacious rooms, high quality amenities and excellent service! Breakfast is good but the space would need more fans (since it is very hot by the river) and some cooked food were n’a bit below what we expected (eggs Benedict not well executed) But the rest is perfect.

What a pleasure to stay here. Staff are amazingly friendly and quick. Although I only stayed here for 3 days, it was 3 days of absolute pleasure.

Love the small touches and thoughtfulness of the hotel. The room is spacious and cozy, and gives the warm feeling. The hotel grounds I beautifully decorated and with large number of restaurants available to choose from.

My favourite hotel in the world. The warm and attentive staff, excellent food and beautiful setting is one of a kind. I would also strongly recommend the newly opened restaurant Baan Phraya, which takes Thai cuisine to a new level.

Everything about our stay was amazing! From the moment we arrived until the moment we departed I did not have one complaint. Top notch service from every department of the hotel!
We booked massages at the spa and they were wonderful! I also got a pedicure at the spa from Syrine Trigui which was hands down the best pedicure I’ve ever had in my life! Lol, I was so thrilled with it I hugged Syrine at the end and I told her that I thought that the best souvenir I had gotten from our trip to Thailand was my pedicure!

There's a reason this is touted as "The Best Hotel in Thailand", and that reasoning boils down to one conclusion, it does not disappoint. From the gates to the walkways, to the Bboo Bar and the dining halls, all were a sight to see and only there for you. If I had to describe it, then it's like a modern touch of The Beast's castle once Bell had lifted the curse. But bigger. And grand. The toilets downstairs always have a staff standing inside, tending to the drying towels, for crying out loud! This is an insane place and would be worth a stay from those who want to be pampered. The private butler adds to that, too, but only if you opt for the even-more-expensive suites.

Stayed here many times over last 5 years. I think this is the most classy and down to every details hotel service in the world. All tje other ultra luxury hotels I stayed at, should learn from MOBKK. If you are not a royal, they will make you feel as though you are, yet you will feel at home, relax, cosy. They just read your mind and mood and needs, and make everything be perfect in a seamless way.

My family travels often and has been fortunate to stay in many fine hotels. Never have we stayed at a hotel with the excellence of Mandarin Oriental Bangkok. Facilities, staff, service are all at an exceptional level of quality. We stayed for 3 nights and all expectations were exceeded. We would never visit Bangkok and stay anywhere else.

I have been coming to the Oriental a couple of times a year over the last ten years. It feels like coming bome and a can only say it is the very best hotel in the world! There is nothing like it. Wonderful food, service and staff on hand.

My wife and I took a friend of ours to Asia for her very first time, and wanted her experience to be the very best possible, so we decided that we had no choice whatsoever than to stay at the Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok. We have been fortunate to stay at the Oriental many times over the years, and the high expectations that we had for this stay were not only met, but exceeded. We booked the Garden Wing, as we have found it to be elegant and steeped in tradition, as well has recently having undergone an elegant renovation. On arrival, after being met outside by staff who personally and warmly greeted us, we were told that both our and our friends room were upgraded to Garden Wing suites. Without our asking, we were brought drinks and refreshments to one of our rooms so that we could toast and celebrate our friend’s arrival in the Land of Smiles. From the attentive and understated service we received from breakfast along the Chao Phraya river, to nightcaps in the Bamboo Bar listening to soothing live jazz, our smiles were nonstop. Over the years, we have been very fortunate to have stayed at some of the finest hotels and resorts on five continents, and though we often struggle (and even argue a bit on occasion) to determine the second best property in the world, we never pause for even a second to celebrate the first.

Nice restaurant at the verandah alongside the river. Prices are of. Course expensive (double than a good quality restaurant in bangkok) and quality is good without being exceptional. Service is good as expected in. Such a hotel. Should you wish Italian or Thai food there are. So. Many choices in Bangkok with a better value. For. Money. But you don't. Have the river …

5 * Hotel or restaurant This Hotel is one of the most expensive, well even if you have no money to stay here, you can come to the bar restaurant which is located by the river and order well at least to drink coconut. And look at the night proud of the river.

The hotel room was tiny, mind you my husband is 6’6 tall and it was like a doll house to him! Myself I was very disappointed and wanted my husband to prove to me that this was a 5 star hotel and not a 2 star! I wasn’t sure if it was part of their culture but everything was dark and gloomy, a lot of dark brown and wooden stuff! The inroom service was good, the food was nice! The washing of clothes was cheap, so took advantage of that! The staff were very friendly! We booked a spa massage, we had to get a boat to get to the destination and the river was dirty, actually very dirty! The massage took place on the floor on a mattress, wasn’t worth it! I didn’t feel relaxed being on the floor! It wasn’t lavish to my taste! Glad to have left!

Simple the one of the best hotel in the world. The service and attention to detail status at the entrance. The beautiful flowers and aromas welcome the guest at the door. The spa is heavenly. The restaurants are good but after on tea at the author’s lounge is legendary.

Excellent service. We feel very much at home in the Oriental. Staff members are like family, they take pride in what they do and are very passionate. Yes, I do agree the rooms are a little dated but the service are impeccable. There are no other hotels that has surpass them in this area.

Certainly an absolute top class hotel with a majority of friendly staff. We were treated as guests on the terrace derogatory and condescending. Also, non-hotel guests will find a friendly service to me. Therefore a point deduction!

The hotel is simply outstanding! The breakfast was the best, the staff always very helpful and friendly, the butlers highly trained, restaurants have very good food and service, the pool is the most comfortable and beautiful with stunning views. The location is great, since you can easily walk around or take a cab near the hotel. I went to other good hotels in Bangkok, but there is none that can beat Mandarin! The flower chandelier cannot be missed at the hotel entry. The spa was very good! If you like Thai cuisine, the Veranda Restaurant highly recommend!

Well. Nice, but the view from the 15 bat boat is better and above all more varied. The drinks prices are absurd. Smoking and e cigarette are forbidden, even outdoors. No recommendation. For the price of a drink one could eat a night in China town.

The Mandarin Oriental is famous for its service. Indeed, the staff are well trained and faultless. But the place is getting old and tired, much like most of the guests there. It has seen better days during the Great British empire circa 1910s, where I imagined this place of grandeur must be a sight to behold. Nowadays the area surrounding the hotel is marred by an explosive growth of uninspired concrete. The older folks seemed particularly attracted to this hotel nonetheless — what with the usual glowing press reports about how great this place is — but just like the small hotel lobby, the whole property seemed somewhat dated. Personally I would have spend more nights at St Regis than here. Even the garish modern chic deco of W BANGKOK is a breath of fresh air compared to the staleness that pervades M. O. Bangkok. So why the 5 stars? It's definitely not the hardware, but the excellent software. A word of caution — dress properly. There are signs stating that flip flops, shorts and backpacks are NOT welcome.

The buffets are excellent and overflowing with choice. The pool does not stink of chlorine and is of a more than pleasant temperature. The staff are nice and very helpful. You can have good quality room service! The beds are comforting and the TVs are big enough. The bathrooms are spacious and the rooms are well lit and offer a good view of the river. I would highly recommend this hotel if you can afford it!

Hotel of excellence, with a welcome and a service simply impeccable and a beautiful setting. Taxi service and shuttles on the river regular and efficient. Numerous restaurants and cafés, as well as a swimming pool and Spa.

Nothing to say, Asian luxury, excellent service, facilities up to par. It has its own boats and jetty, not only for crossing in chao phraya, also for excursions to Ayutay a and floating market of Chop buri.

Unfortunately, my favourite hotel around the world is easing a little from year to year in the attention of the staff. Still, after shopping at the Robinson Department Store, an afternoon tea on the riverside porch is always worth a visit.

Just a stunning place! Was surprised though that the still water they served in the restaurant was imported from Italy. How does their substainibility strategy looks like? Thought and hoped it would be more developed, supporting local products.

Excellent service, excellent staff. The room is very clean. The swimming pool is beautiful, too. I love their bath salt so much. We can buy from the shop in the hotel.

If you like that over the top, subservient service then you will love this place. Food is fine. View is nice.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at.

Certainly the best service I have come across in a high-end hotel. Just exceptional, always with a smile, discreet and available. Held by a french cooking is of good quality, but no more. It would merit the opening of a gastro on the other side of the River, next to the sports complex. The pool is small, but once more, the service is just amazing. The rooms are superb, with room service stunning. I will stay again in this hotel during my next visit to Bangkok.
