I enjoyed my stay throughout my trip in bangkok! The receptionists were very helpful in assisting us with everything that we requested for. The best thing about the hotel is the free shuttle service to a few landmarks which makes it easier for us to travel around.

This place is clean, cozy, has friendly staff, and great food! The only down side is it is of the beaten path but for what they offer and the suitable price it is worth it. They will call a taxi for you, or you can walk to the metro or old Bangkok. The place is tucked in so you don't have to deal with a noisy highway or crowds of people. It seems to be surrounded by a safe, residential zone. This place is great!

Great. Clean, modern and good service. Been in Asia for 2 weeks and the is the cheapest and best place I have stayed. The jacuzzi is rubbish though. Overall it is CLEAN! No bugs or dirt. Bar drinks and food is good too.

Very good for the price. Great service, clean, everything looks new. Location is pretty good, not really close to the old town but just a US$4 taxi away. Paid Airport shuttle or US$16 taxi to both airports. Wifi everywhere and computers at the lobby. Rooftop restaurant and bar with outside terrace, nice view. Breakfast is good, not a ton of choices but enough and good flavour.

Nice concept having separate the bedroom and living room. Overall the room was clean and quiet. Only issue is the air conditioning unit in the living room is faulty, so we avoid staying long there. Facilities were decent, they include gym and swimming pool. Breakfast should include more local food. Overall a good place to stay for it's price.

This place has EXCELLENT value for money! They have the BEST shower and toilet facilities I've seen in hostels yet! Bed was also super comfy! I was sick during my stay and this place was what I needed to recharge. There's a computer for use and good deal for the buffer at iSanook residence. The only down thing is that there's not too much really close by and since I was sick I didn't feel like venturing too far away…

I feel the iSanook residence is overpriced for what you get. It is isolated e. G. Not near any public transportation, and the rooms are not that great. I requested a king bed and got two twins. The AC constantly shut-off by itself and never got the room that cool. We had just transferred form a 4-star hotel we paid less for, had a larger room, better amenities and easy access to major points of interest and public transit. In the future this property will not be on my go to list.

We so enjoyed our five day stay here a few weeks ago. The rooms are well equipped and clean, the restaurant/rooftop bar is convenient and very nice, and breakfast is friendly and delicious! We really appreciated the free tuctuc service as well as the proximity to hua lamphong train station and Sam Yin (spelling? ) metro stop. The pool is lovely! :) Thanks for the availability of washers and dryers and allowing us to check in early!

Tucked away a bit but once you're in, that's not a problem. Good, cosy but modern place. Staff are friendly and helpful. There's no lift so backpacks will have to be carried just that little bit further up to your room. Breakfast and meals and the bar are available at the iSanook hotel right across the road. Its on HI so if you're a member be sure to claim the 10% discount at check in. Rooms are fine, with good a/c which is important. The room we stayed in had no natural daylight coming in to it, if that's a factor for you. Good vibe so would be happy to visit again.

I wanted to stay here for a longer period of time for my internship. Sewie contacted me and helped me arrange my stay for 5 months. That was very nice because on arrival in Bangkok I immediately had accommodation. I have been super happy with my choice for isanook. Everything is very clean and nice spacious room. Isanook itself has a lot to offer in terms of facilities. The environment felt like home with lots of lovely people. Very good choice if you want to stay for a long time or short.

Best place to stay in Bangkok! I stayed there for 4 months during my exchange semester at the Chulalongkorn University. It felt like a home and I met so many amazing students from diverse backgrounds. It's hard to imagine living somewhere else so if you planing to study in Bangkok this should be your first option. The rooms and the whole complex are amazing, we had so many great nights at the rooftop terrace there. Also the staff was amazing from the lobby to the cleaning ladies up to Sewie the incredible longterm manager, who always helped us out if there was any problem. Bangkok in whole was and amazing time and Isanook was a big part of it. Shout out to all the truly amazing people who did their exchange with me.

The price performance is just amazing! You are very close to everything and everyone made us feel very comfortable. Very clean and the view of the rooftop is also very nice! You can eat in the restaurant or even order it to your room. Very nice and clean hotel! It was a pleasure, we would definitely stay again when we come back to Bangkok!

The hotel isanook resident in the city of Bangkok is a mid-range hotel. To get to the hotel is a little confusing for taxi drivers as it is on a street which does not allow you to see the sign or entrance to the hotel. But when you arrive the place is nice and clean with very friendly staff. The rooms have an average price of $30 and have breakfast included which is very rich and is served on the hotel terrace with wonderful views of the city. The food is very rich. The room is big and clean with minibar, coffee maker, safety box, 32-inch lcd TV with pay-tv, a desk and a very diverse menu to order room service the food is very good. In general it is a very good hotel has excellent facilities only a matter of several taxi drivers have difficulty getting to the but outside of that it is an excellent hotel of course recommend it and are in doubt I hospedare back in when you return to Bangkok.

We only spent one night here after flying into Bangkok early the night before. But we would definitely stay here next time! Set off from the busy roads, it is nice and quiet. The room is well built and appointed. High quality experience for sure!

A stayed 4 nights at this place and I just loved it. The staff is very kind and helpful. My room was quite large and very clean. 2 water bottles were provided every day. Also the towels were renewed every day. The food at the restaurant on the rooftop-terrasse was good and very cheap. I absolutely recommend this lovely hotel!

Wonderful and super organized.

Chekin was at 23.00. The girls at the reception looked very irritated. The hotel itself is pleasant. Great breakfast on the rooftop with a nice view. From the bar in the evening you could see some street show with theatrical action and folk music.

Very impressed with iSanook Residence. Well priced, rooftop hot tubs, rooftop bar and restaurant, pool, buffet breakfast, fast Wi-Fi, great rooms. But the staff make the place, friendly and extremely helpful. Service was excellent! Definitely recommend this place when travelling to Bangkok.

Overall this is a good hotel for the price. The location is a little awkward but once you get your bearings, it's ok. It's not easy for vehicles to get to though as the surrounding streets are very narrow. The room is basic but very clean. The breakfast is good enough for this type of hotel. The pool is small and very cold but it's clean and well maintained. I suppose the ultimate verdict is the fact that I would stay here again when I'm next in Bangkok.

Reasonably priced and clean hotel. Very convenient location, 15 min to the peer, 10 min to Chinatown and the subway station. If you don’t feel like walking they offer an hourly shuttle service to these destinations from where you can easily reach the main sights or the airport. Friendly staff.

Very good hostel in the center of Bangkok. A 10-minute walk from the Metro, the river and Chinatown. The small streets to access it are very nice and there are good and cheap restaurants around. The establishment is modern and recent. The dormitory beds have a reading machine and electrical outlets. The shared bathrooms are nice and clean. The Wi-Fi is working well.

Awesome vibes, good people. The common area was generally calm and people worked on laptops down there often. Decent enough location with a couple of authentic food choices within a 60 second walk.

Good clean hotel. Got a free upgrade upon arrival to a suite. Has its own private pool. The location can be hard to find for most taxi drivers. I've stayed here on two separate occasions and had to give my phone over with the satellite navigation running so they can find it. They do offer a free tuk tuk service to popular attractions nearby, however, spaces are limited and it fills up quickly so make sure you register at reception to get a space.

Located in a quiet street, this Colorfull hostel is perfect for anyone looking for an affordable stay with the combination of young, hip and modern design. The hostel itself clean, the toilet / shower area are quite big, matress perfect, not too firm. have dining area with the balcony and the mini kitchen in front of the hostel there s also a cafe with tasty coffee and pastry.

Modern style hotel, located in a resident area. Very impressive with the level of services! The manager there made you felt so welcomed and he will make sure all your needs are fulfilled. They have great facilities: swimming pool, gym, wishing machines and dryer. They offer free drop off services to some of the icon places in Bangkok but you need to book at least 4 hours ahead of time on the same day. Close to public transit.

A normal place, clean, price-quality very good, gym small, pool, restaurant and if you want buffet breakfast for 250baths. In general very happy with everything. The treatment of the staff, cleanliness, and performance.

Awesome hostel for awesome price. Can't be beat.

Decent rooms, good beds. However, they charged 300 baht for losing the plastic keycard, so EUR 7. — for an RFID card which costs around 0.70 cents to produce. In Thailand, that difference can buy you 4 meals. That's screwing over your guests. I would not recommend staying at a place that screws over guests.

Great hotel for the price. My room was excellent and the hotel surroundings were very calming. The little cafe attached served really good sandwiches and coffee. The only downside was most taxis and Tuk Tuk struggled to find the place so give yourself plenty of time if you need to be somewhere.

I loved this hostel in Bangkok, just to be the best hostel I've ever been to. Receptionists speak English very well and are very well informed about any questions you have. The rooms are regularly long, the beds are very comfortable, has USB or light connections to charge your phone, the bathrooms are very spacious and clean (they are bathrooms that share the whole floor).

The area is not the best, it is located between tiny and narrow streets although the service is great, the facilities are really good, and staff speak really good English.

The rooms are very well the evil that we would reach at 16h to the room after being all the morning walk and was without make. The swimming pool is very nice, and the jacuzzi is not what we see already that the 2 times I went the door was closed. The attention very good.

Great place to stay! It's a wonderful gem hidden in small alleys. Great and accommodating staff, lovely rooms and amenities and delicious food! Plus, it's a good bargain. A46 and A56 rooms are highly recommended. Stayed there for 7 days and 6 nights.

I have been there for four nights, and I want to say was good place where to spend my holidays. It offers a tuk-tuk shuttle (one way) from 8-18 every hour, and also swimming pool, hydro massage on the rooftop, bar, restaurant. The staff is very helpful, suggested me the best itinerary. Only one small issue is the position, not well connected, so most of the time you need to call a taxi, to go out in the night or early morning.

Great for meeting other backpackers and great location! Staff are really friendly and fun!

Super clean and great environment. I absolutely love this hostel. I will definitely stay here again. If you walk down to the river, you can catch a boat ride to major sights like the grand palace.

Very clean nice place in a concrete jungle. Small streets will lead you to this hotel. Across the street from the residence is also a hostel. The residence is very clean and updated. The bathrooms are updated and have good water pressure. There is a small balcony in each room. If you need an iron just ask the front desk to borrow one.

DO NOT STAY HERE! I got charged for an extra night because I checked out at 3pm, and I only checked out 3 hours after checkout! What kind of customer service is that? We also checked in at 10pm. Internet never works! It's a hard place to find, no drivers know how to get here and the streets leading up to it are too narrow to drive down. I asked to speak to the manager, but he never came down to speak to me, he got his staff to talk to me instead. Very disappointing. My first stay with them was better, but will definitely not stay here again.

A modern looking cozy place which was a little bit complex to locate at first but wasn't a problem for subsequent cab trips to and fro. Hotel staff was highly helpful and knowledgeable. Room service was efficient and tidy. Room service food takes a little bit of time to prepare but the end result was satisfying. The cafe located at first floor had a variety of mouth watering sandwiches available at a great price.

Very good place with excellent location in the center of Bangkok very close to subway station sam yan, in its surroundings there are many shops of food, street and fruits, there are also centers of massage, 7-Eleven and many more attractions including the river phaya. …

Great hostel. It's quite new, cleaned and maintained to perfection. Has a hotel feel. Has laundry and kitchen facilities on-site, as well as great lounge spaces and the beds are very comfortable. Staff is friendly, and the place is very affordable. Highly recommend.

Place was clean. This was the first time I stayed at a hostel, and I felt like I was fishing for information. When I checked in they didn't tell me I needed to rent a towel, I had to ask which way to my room and then when I finally got into my room, there was someone in the bed I was assigned to. I ended up just staying in the bed below them. It wasn't the best experience but I appreciate the cleanliness of the place.

Good location if you want it a bit more quiet and local vibe but still close to the happening, friendly staff, extremely clean facilities, comfortable beds, nice interior, good café just outdoor the entrance, and everything for a reasonable price. Had a really good stay here. The only thing I can complain about was that it's quite much eco in the hallway.

Clean hotel with very capable staff, lovely pool area, very quiet rooms.
Location is somewhat in a residential area and it is here very authentic Thai but during the day, there is an onsite, free tuk-tuk service to the most important junctions (MRT station, taxi boat, Siam Square, etc…).
All in all VERY TO RECOMMEND. A star deduction for the not quite perfect location…

Comfort, quiet, friendly staff, good swimming pool also they have everything like two resturants and mini market but the problem is the location a bit far like 15 min walking.

Comfy, clean and reasonably priced! I know some people said it's hard to find but I had no issues finding it. You can walk there in 10-15 mins from Sam Yan station or take a tuk tuk. Or if you have internet connection uber it. It seems to be the cheapest option to go around in Bangkok.

I loved this hotel! It was clean and had a cool vibe. It was right next to an ATM and convenience store. The food at the restaurant was amazing! The only con was the location … Taxi drivers had a hard time finding it and would get lost trying to find it almost everytime.

Hotel in place apart from the noise but right in the center of everything, to catch the boats, eatacion sam yang metro, 25 minutes from china town walk, have service tuktuk free to 3 places estrategicos, breakfast quite good in comparison with other, pool, chula is the second time that we stayed at and we think to repeat.

Very good location in a very popular area of Bangkok. 3 small family restaurants nearby cheap (90 baht per dishes) and super good. Spacious, modern and very clean rooms. At the top, very friendly staff. Thanks to them I was able to find my suitcase lost by airport ;) unbeatable value! I recommend to 200%!

Hidden gem in the middle of Bangkok! The way to the hotel had me raised my eyebrow. It is small small road with old but not nice building neighborhood! However, once you get in the hotel, the feeling will be different! From my experience, staffs are nice and energetic! Place look new and well — maintained! I love how they link the buildings on the top floor. On the top floor, you will find outdoor jacuzzi on both sides, gym (on only one side, on the other side is a bar). There is a kitchen, living/game room, meeting/working room as well. Overall is just great! By the way, they do have a monthly rental rate start from 10, 500THB and upto around 35000THB (two bedroom). If you plan to stay in Bangkok for a while, this might be the place! Ps. They have a little tuktuk shuttle every hour to take you to public transportation stations (underground and skytrain). But on the way back to the hotel is on your own, unless you manage to catch the shuttle when other hotel guests got dropped off ;)

Fantastic place with friendly staff and nice rooms. Wi-Fi had a strong signal with lots of APs but was unfortunately bogged down to about 1mbps constantly.

We stayed at this hotel twice; in the beginning and end of our trip. The first hotel room was large, but had ants or other types of small bugs, while the second room was small and had a broken AC amongst other minor issues. If you're looking for a money saver, then this is the place for you. But I believe there are better deals out there. The location of the hotel isn't ideal, either. It's hidden behind tiny streets, and there isn't much in the direct vicinity.

Great and new hotel. Very well run and cleaned thoroughly every day. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment, that has a lot of space, excellent beds (not that usual in Thailand) and two bathrooms. Ideal for families with children. Pictures on the hotel website are spot on. Breakfast is not overly extended, but very good with warm choices, deliciuis fresh fruits and real espresso. Breakfast gets replenished up untill the last minute. Nice lappool to cool of after a day of sightseeing. Location is also great on the edge of Chinatown. Khao San Road is a 70 baht taxi ride away. Okay, a cabdriver from the airport might not know it yet, so print out the map beforehand. On Si Praya Road watch out for the second 7-11 on the left, 200 metres afterr the Shell station. Staff was serviceminded and nice. When our taxi arrived from the airport at 0830, they came outside and welcomed us by name and settled us in with an early checkinn and without any fuss. Just what you need after a long flight. You won't get much better value in Bangkok.

During my three months of travel I stayed here about 6 different times. About 80% of the visits were absolutely wonderful. One of my last visits was very unpleasant, but I still felt that the sum of my stays were great. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The facilities are some of the cleanest I experienced in my 3+ months in southeast Asia. They basically deep clean the place daily. They have a large selection of room sizes, starting from 4 beds and going up. Most people don't want to drop the few extra bucks for the 4 bed, which usually means you get it to yourself or only one other bunkmate. They have a kitchen to store your food and balcony to hang out at. There's also a cafe downstairs that makes great coffee and serves some decent cafe food. The location is actually not bad. It's pretty much a 15 minute walk from the train station, the river taxis and the MRT (subway). While there aren't a ton of restaurants, there's enough street food, 7 Eleven's and a short walk from other areas for food. Definitely check out iSanook hostel if you're in Bangkok.

Great hotel. Rooms are clean and modern. Cheap travel into the city by taxi. Lovely restaurant and bar and staff are friendly and helpful.

Best place to stay. Large rooms, large beds, private bathroom, clean, affordable. There are a phone, a fridge, a water boiler, 2 glasses, 2 cups, a TV. Bed sheets and towels are included. Many facilities and services: kitchen, dining room, gym, 4 rooftop terraces, 2 rooftop Jacuzzis, restaurant, café, laundry with washing machines dryers, parking lot, several public bathrooms. At the desk you can book tours (but they are quite expensive). Short term residents can use a free tuk tuk service to go to nearby places (not available for long term residents). You can also ask for a taxi anytime. Staff is nice, polite and international. Common areas are cleaned everyday. Rooms are cleaned for a fee, but they also lend you the tools to do it yourself. Just across the street there is a convenience store. There is also another laundry if you need ironing. All this holds true for the main building. Across the street there are also a iSanook women only condo (lower quality but cheaper) and the brand new iSanook hostel, which looks great and is cheap. If you are a backpacker in Bangkok for a short time and you don't mind sharing the room with other people I totally suggest to go there. Just behind the corner there are several local restaurants: cheap but very good. A 7eleven is just 100m away. Another one is a little bit further in the opposite direction. The closes MRT station is Sam Yan, around 10-15 Min by walk. Residents are international, from all over the world.

Nice clean rooms and super friendly staff. Location is a bit off, but complimentary rickshaw service is pretty sweet. A bit sterile, but modern. The rooftop Jacuzzi is quite nice during the monsoon.

The staff is really young, friendly and open-minded. They will help out anyone and help you have the best time possible. They will even book cabs for lost tourists that aren't client, even on their off-days (Kay rules! ). We grabbed a few beers with them and they were great!

Highly recommended. We have a small child and we needed a place with a kitechnnete, microwave and a refrigerator for her baby food. They offered us all. The staff was friendly, the room was ultra clean and the sitting area was big enough to have guests over without the room feeling over crowded.

We found the service and location of ISanook Residence superb. The restaurant is located on the 6th floor with a great view of the surrounding buildings in Bangkok. The rooms were lovely, spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was superb and all the meals we ate there were wonderfully prepared. They also cater for long term residents at exceptionally good rates.

Best place in Bangkok! Great friendly authentic Thai neighbourhood. Excellent facilities. Great price. Wonderful management. Close walks to BTS and MRT. Lots of food options near by. Close to Chulalongkorn University, Silom, MBK, China Town. Cant wait to go back.

Excellent stay we will surely be back. Staff very pleasant and competent. We had a very nice studio.
May be too much overlooked, if possible now that we know we will ask a housing without too many screws screws. Finally the pool to relax with bath towel provision. Moreover the area is very nice it is lively but without excess we quickly found our brands, and the proximity has about 10' walk from the station of MRT Sam Yan allows to connect a large part of Bangkok.
