Well located in the historic center of the city. The room is nice and clean. They have a small rooftop pool open from 8 to 21.00. Breakfast is rich. We got the room on the 4th floor with no elevator… For the rest, everything is great.

I have stayed here a couple of times and have friends who visited a few times. The service here is up to the mark. The location of the hotel is very cool, very close to all the action in Stone Town. The Manager, Ibrahim, is very helpful.

Ideally located, located right in front of the only a one minute walk from forodhani gardens, the streets of stone town, Freddie mercury house, ATM and many other tourist attractions. Extremely friendly staff. My sister had food poisoning and they heard her throwing up and she got a call from the reception right away asking if she needed something. The manager Ebraheem is extremely accommodating and makes sure your stay is perfect! He is present at the hotel everyday and is there to greet you with a smile! It felt like home to us!

I think it's very important to sort any issues promptly. The hotel is lovely. However we had a problem with our booking not going through — they promptly found us a new hotel and covered the extra expense themselves. I would recommend this hotel company.

Despite the very touristic looks, many locals hang around there as well. Arrive early (18:30) so you can see which stands have freshly made food, or leftovers from the day before.

Stunning area, especially in the evening where it is abuzz with local eating spots and great tasting street food… A must try for all.

Seafood BBQ at night. Bargain prices are fair. Stunning sea view in the evening. Full of tourists. Most of them are foreign tourists.

Quite safe, and you can enjoy the sea breeze while eating delicious food from street vendors, watching the world pass by.

Interesting place to walk around, but not a wide selection. Too many people trying to pressure me into eating at their stalls.
