Not a safe place to stay. Friends were robbed while they slept in their rooms. Hotel security was asleep poolside while robbery took place. Hotel management seemed to blame the guests, ”why didn’t anyone wake up” and “you should make sure your doors are locked”. Book elsewhere where your safety is taken seriously.

On December 7, 2020 around 4:30am I woke up briefly out of my sleep to adjust the fan that I had placed too close to the foot of my bed only to see a tall figure in the dark walking quickly past my headboard towards the door the led out the back of our family style villa shared by myself and four of my friends. Out of fear I shut my eyes and remained as still as I possibly could waiting to hear the door close or for myself to wake up from what I was trying to convince myself was a dream. I lay there in a fetal position until I heard the movement of my friend who had gotten up to use the restroom. Still afraid I might be in a “dream” state I lay quietly on the bed, but with my eyes open this time. I watched her return to bed, reach for the bedside table for her bag (that was not there), get out of bed in search of her bag which she found on the floor at the foot of her bed. She turned on her flashlight and began searching for something in her bag. I felt safe enough the. To stretch my legs on my beg which made a noise of course and she turned off her flight. I called out to her and said I was awake and the light was not bothering me. She responded by asking me if she had spent any cash at the Zanzi Star beach restaurant the night before. “No”. We were told we could place all items on your room tab and settle our bill at checkout. “My cash is missing”. At which point I knew for a fact that the shadowy figure is seen was not a dream and someone in fact had been in our room.

Small structure at the heart of the village allowing for the exchange with the local people. Place and staff are faultless, the restaurant at the height of its reputation: it is fresh and excellent. The cocktails are delicious: I recommend the Wonderland! Virginia the manager is very good advice and really very nice, it was a real pleasure to meet you

A lodge is wonderful and good place to live. Bloom and Martin are very welcoming and have made this place a small paradise on earth without forgetting the staff who is very kind and very responsive. We just want to… come BACK. Thank you for everything

One of the Best places to stay in Jambiani. There is a nice and small beach bar where you can spend your time reading and relaxing (try the brownie). Restaurant has a very nice athmosphere. Food is very nice. We had 2 dinners there and both were very delicious (seafood samosa, fish of the Day, seafood spaghetti and their speciality with raw tuna). A bit more expensive than local restaurants but worth every penny. Rooms have their own garden, bed was very comfortable and water pressure of the shower (both Hot&cold) was very good.

A lodge is pretty with nature things, in all aspect started from rooms, restaurant and bar, a quit place with nature air from the sea.

Wonderful Jambiani accommodation. We spent four nights in the beach front room and had a wonderful time. The food, drinks and service at both the beach bar and banana garden was great and kept us coming back for every meal. The lovely owners are friendly and accommodating, always making sure you have what you need. They've created a lovely boutique accommodation that we enjoyed for four nights on our honeymoon.

This is a dream place. It has everything I enjoy — — great location, simple but tasteful decoration, excellent food, and personalized service.

Authentic hotel located in the heart of a village with a beautiful and very quiet beach. Total change of scenery, contact with the local population.

In terms of catering, flavours, freshness and generosity are at the top. For us this is the best restaurant of our stay in Zanzibar. Attentive and more professional staff than around even if the local currency is Polé polé (softly). Mention for the Lagoon room, which is located directly on the beach. Thanks to Fleur

Beautiful cosy place to relax! Very Nice little lodge just 20 meters from the beach. Very lovely couple who own the place. The staff is very friendly. The room is very cosy, bed confortable. The restaurant is sooo good they propose every different things. We stay 3 wonderful nights.

Really I didn't stay at the lodge but only at the beach, but was so wonderful! I went for lunch and I falled in love, so quiet and beautiful, full of colours … and what about food and smoothes? great!

Great place to relax! The rooms are lovely, with a small sandy yard and trees which are sometimes visited by the local monkeys. The restaurant and the beach bar are friendly places, the staff and the owners (Fleur and Martin) are always lovely and have a friendly chat with everyone. The guesthouse also offers a lot of tours around the island (though if you shop around with the touts on the beach, you can save the odd shilling). The restaurant is also well-run and offers Zanzibari cuisine with a French touch, with daily specials and a compentent use of fresh local ingredients. All in all a great choice to kick back for a couple of days.

Located in the most beautiful village of Jambiani. The staff is lovely and very welcoming. The place has its own beach bar which is very fun to hang out at if you want to get your drink with a great sea view.

Flower our lovely hostess was able to make of this place a little paradise where life is good and our stay was magical. All the staff is the small care and great kindness we felt like at home and cocooning. The kitchen cleanliness, everything is of quality. Thanks to this amazing team we have been able to discover the real Zanzibar appreciate, and of course we are under the charm. Only regret is having to leave … but we hope to go back soon … in any case a day for wonderful adventures … This trip will remain my most beautiful experience
