I spent a holidays with my mum and it was so amazing! Hotel itself, bar, clear water and we were totally in love with a food! I wish I can go there next year!

Reef & beach is fantastic place when you come reef & beach resort you Will enjoy.

The price — performance — ratio is right.

Good vibe. Friendly people. Food has no spices, but it can be worked on. I see good things for this place in the future. I will visit again soon for sure!

This was a last minute add on to our overall holiday. The staff are kind and helpful and the resort is picturesque. However it is at the very far end of Jambiani and away from the other resorts and restaurants so most people here come on an all inclusive basis which is fine if you are happy to stay in the hotel for a whole week. However after a few days of the meals we got bored of the food. Some of the food is recycled and I suspect adapted for European tastes. The accomodation is clean throughout and our cottage had a lovely view of the sea. The family room actually meant the children's beds being in the kitchen facility (which our little ones thought was very funny). Rooms were cleaned daily and every evening the rooms are sprayed with repellent. There was not enough to entertain the kids as you cant just walk out of the hotel as there is nothing either way for at least a mile. Although they loved seeing the monkeys every day! The games room isnt good and not set up for children really so on the very odd rainy day there wasnt much to entertain them.

It was a good resort we chose. They had good deals on the lunch /dinner buffet and liquor. The view was good from our beach cottage. There was some work which was continuously going on which they could deal with. People wouldnt want to hear noise on a holiday! They could improvise on the rooms.

Friendly staff, good atmosphere — for those who like silence and at the same time could be very joy and fun close to bars. Amazing sunset observation. Good beach and sea view. Clean rooms. Not so much variety of the food. All inclusive option is value for money. Good cocktails.

If you are looking for the absolute silence, then this is the place! Far from everything (however, they can arrange a car to take you anywhere you want) this place is simply amazing. Small, isolated homes and a beautiful beach bar in the middle of the ocean will desconnect you from everything! Nice staf, good breakfast, great cocktails!

Me and my best friend stayed here for 1 month. Had such an amazing time, beaches and water is super clear and clean. Staff is the friendliest and most helpful people ever! Love the Masai always nice and keeping us safe. Food was also nice. Great variety of inclusive cocktails to choose from. Awesome Resort, will definitely want to come back here again!

Management is very friendly and anderstanding, the staff of the hotel have a great vibe the services are out standby the view from the room is amazing with a very nice jetty bar and there is also a very good Kiteschool call Siren Pro with very professional staff, great experience will recommend to everyone to passe a couple of nights there to enjoy the Zanzibar nature and lagoon.

Super Resort, super friendly staff.
For swimming on the beach directly at the resort you have to pay attention to ebb and flow. At low tide it is almost impossible to swim directly on the beach. But is flood, then the beaches are like in the movie… but it also has a small clean pool in the resort.
It was also possible to book excursions on site. Mostly very good prices and service. If you want to make a safari in Seoul in combination with the resort, you should book dis from home. Preferably directly with the hotel together. On site The "last minutes safari" is very expensive compared!
The rooms were corresponding to the country.

A wonderful facility to relax. Super friendly staff, everything maintained and clean, food abwechsungsreich. You learn a lot about land and people, if you like. No one is intrusive, but you can hold nice conversations with the locals. Highly recommended.

Was such an awesome holiday. Had an amazing time. Thanks to all at Reef and Beach. Was home away from home.

Unfortunately very unorganized!
A very small selection of food and a bad beach. Not suitable for children who like to play in the sea!
Changing money took 3 days.
Transfer to the airport one hour. Just like in the beautiful Town "Stone Town" which holds what it bears in the name because it Sogut as it is made of stones.
I was there in the summer of 2017 and must say that I am hard disappointed.
It was told to me one evening that my suitcases are picked up in the morning at 9:00AM from the room, the next morning I go at 9:30AM to the reception and must hear (from the same person) that this does not belong to your service.
And that is still the most pleasant.
conclusion, rather spend a little more money than having to run after everything.

This resort has a 'cruise ship' type atmosphere with a recreation director and evening shows (none of which I took advantage of as per my choosing. ) The resort environs are organized well. I always made sure to sit up-wind from all the smokers sitting around the pool. I got tired of breathing in second hand smoke and eventually gave up and just sat on the balcony of my room. Although I did like their desserts and some of their pastries, in general I found their food to be bland and unimaginative. A table with an offering of spices from Zanzibar was part of the buffet line, but I never got the idea that the chef knew how or ever used any of them in his food. A case in point were the soups offered with the meals. To me they seems like hot water with some coloring.
