We were welcomes by happy smiley staff, that cold towel was much needed after a dusty drive in Tarangire. This property is simple and nice. Set on top of the higher part of the river bed with a great view of the river. The food was great and the rooms have a great view, have to be escorted to and from your room due to the possibility of wild animals passing through the property quite often. While we were there a small herd of elephants decided to pass through the camp, was a nice feeling. Oh the food, I know I mentioned it but had to again hahaha. The tented camps were comfortable and homely, we had an amazing stay thank you.
My teenage sons and I loved visiting Tarangire River camp. The scenery is breathtaking and the staff are so helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it. Cliff and Lucy were wonderful hosts and he Masai escorted us ensuring our safety, it was wonderful.

Wonderfully authentic camp in a superb location. Excellent food and great staff. We arrived to lion roars and elephants walking on the river bed. Brilliant.
