We stayed here in CNY Eve. Really clean and modern! Room was large with sitting area with a couch. The staff at the front desk and room services were very friendly, helpful and professional. They even gave me and my son two lucky bags 福袋 of chocolate rat figurine and macaron. Kitchen staff members constantly monitoring breakfast items. A wonderful stay!

For the price service is erratic, hotel door broke, shower part came off, TV sound goes up and low constantly, no complimentary cocktail like other Marriott hotels etc.

Good location, nice atmosphere, not so many choices for restaurant, but all very nice, especially the swimming pool bar, in the night very beautiful and romantic.

Modern, artsy and impressive are words that can describe the W Taipei located in the Xinyi district in central Taipei. It's not so far from the landmark Taipei 101 building which can be viewed from the 31st floor restaurant. There's a very nice bar that's connected to the very nice pool area where you can experience awesome Taipei sunsets.

Everything about my stay was perfect… friendly staff, clean rooms, amenities and location. I wanted to see a concert at a small venue and the tickets were only sold at a kiosk in 7-eleven. The concierge took care of this for me. Definitely went above and beyond.

I was excited to check this hotel out, but staying there for 2 nights — I didn’t get that High end I was expecting I mean the amenities are good but maybe the operation is not that high end? I was expecting a good party too but I’m not sure if it’s the service or people there just don’t know how to party? Me and my boyfriend was sitting for about 20-30 mins waiting for our drinks and no one cares that we are empty handed until we had to follow up?! Also, Not paying attention on the cleanliness though, the walls of the corridors are full of dusts! (Forgive me if I like to touch things! ) But I love the bar on top — the ambience and the service is very good Plus, I’m just grateful that my boyfriend chose the Taipei 101 view which makes the highlight of The hotel❤️

Come to the meeting, because the air conditioning is very cold, with the waiter to 2 warm water, the service life is very smelly: "That will have to wait a long time" on the go, the result really waited 1.5 hours did not come, feel is a talk to do the waiter.

Excellent hotel with excellent service. Rooms are great, clean and roomy. The bar is amazing with great selections. Breakfast is unreal at the buffet. Pool is a must check and location is super convenient as it is close to blue line and Taipei 101.

W Taipei has the perfect location being literally on top of Taipei City Hall subway station and it's very close to Breeze shopping complex. It is also walking distance from the Songshan Creative park and many of Taiwan famous breakfast places. I stayed at the spectacular room with unobstructed view of Taipei 101. I also had the pleasure to sample the dim sum menu from the Yen restaurant, which I would highly recommend.

Loved the atmosphere, it’s classy yet super relaxed. Cocktails are expensive, but well made and, importantly tasty and good quality. Definitely recommend a visit!

Very nice and comfortable hotel. And the room also quite spacious. The staff very friendly and helpful. Very conveniently located as it is quite near the subway. For some rooms they have the perfect view of Taipei 101.

Hotel was slick and stylish. Staff was great. The room was beautiful, spacious. The bar on the top floor has spectacular view of the city and Taipei 101. But you should book a spot beforehand to make sure you get a table near the window.

They up graded my room since I’ve got status with SPG and we had a sweet view. We didn’t get a view of Taipei 101, but no biggie. I’ve stayed an quite a few W hotels and I’d say this is the nicest one I’ve encountered. The gentleman that checked me in was super helpful and hooked up me up with some other amenities. This is a great location for getting out into the night life. Update: we had breakfast and it may be the best breakfast I’ve ever had at any hotel. Ever. The options were vast and the foods were amazing. I over ate they served a truffle scrambled egg that changed my world!

The first is the lot, W Hotel is located in the elite area of Taipei-Xinyi District. Around here there are at least 10 or more department stores, can meet the picky you, in the morning you can go to pine smoke to see the exhibition, noon to visit the department store, afternoon to see a movie, in the evening can go to Xiangshan to see the night view of Taipei, what a perfect day. W Hotel walk out without a few steps is Breeze Xinyi and unified Times department store. Then again is the Blue line right next to it, a little further away to Taipei 101 can take a red line to save a lot of traffic time. Himself in the W hotel has eaten a few times, dishes can only say good, not bad food, but very creative, decoration is very big. The accommodation part and the other W hotel is very stylish and design sense, but not too pretentious, very tacky, very spacious and then the scenery is very good! The hotel was easy to accss from the airport and it closes to metro. The decor for the room was modern and chic, check in was pretty quick. Rooftop pool is too small and was not heated.

Loved staying here! The hotel has a young, design vibe. The rooms are awesome with great views of Taipei and with a great design, including an electronic toilet, a white noise machine among other things. The lighting system in the room is awesome. There is a lot of water and snacks provided which are complimentary. The staff is nice as well.

Loved the room and amenities, clean and modern per usual W standards. Hotel is located in Xinyi District, which is more business-y and with big shiny department stores, and close to the 101, but not as close to other major tourist-friendly areas. Room cleaning was great on a daily basis, check-in was professional. If you don't want to be close to the hustle and bustle, W is a great choice.

Gym is large and has heavy enough weights that a hardcore lifter or weekend cardio buff alike are all good. Location is in the middle of retail therapy — read as walking distance. … Public transport is downstairs. Can get anywhere. Poolside scene in summer would be great as there's lots of seating and a good bar. Service is what you'd expect. Meticulous and helpful! Loved it! Will be our Go-To hotel in Taipei!

Like W Hong Kong hotel. Tries a little too hard to be edgy. Bathrooms are nice with heated seats and butt washers. Didn't like switching elevators to reach rooms. TV centered on 1 bed. Only one desk chair per suite. Gym is nice; has speed and heavy bags.

The hotel was very hip and fancy. We had an upgraded room, and there is a beautiful penthouse. However, we also spent time in the common areas which had great food, courteous staff, and great accommodations. The surrounding area is also very posh with great shopping and dining, not to mention a 10 minute walk to Taipei 101. Pretty much perfect all around experience.

Super convenient location — literally a 2-3 min walk from the MRT station. Love the strategy rooms on the top floor for close knit professional gatherings. Love the vibrant personality of the ground floor. Woobar in the hotel is also one of the trendiest places to hang out in Taipei — a tad pricey but totally worth it for the atmosphere.

W housing I don't know,
But the dining section is not very good. They went to the opening once, when their orange juice was brewed with powder.

The suite was excellent and spacious with great views! It featured a stylish and bold interior that had some nice views of Taipei. The location is great and easy access to the shopping malls nearby and also attached to the street level entrance. The bar near the checkin counter gets very busy and crowded with people hanging out and enjoying the great music and drinks. The spacious and modern spa is one of the best!
