A hotel in a beautiful setting, with very friendly and efficient staff under the leadership of Claudia and Gerhard, and with excellent and very well presented food!

Great experience at the Hotel Bernerhof Kandersteg! Their restaurant is also excellent.

We had dinner there this evening. What a magical send off from our stay in Switzerland! The dinner was delicious and the staff were even better! The views were spectacular!

We have had a wonderful week here. The staff are so friendly & very attentive. As for the food… absolutely beautiful. They even made my birthday extra special for me. The room was spotless with a balcony & stunning views. Could not fault anything. Will definitely be going back. Thank you all.

Comfortable, super — clean, typical Swiss excellent customer experience. Superb views. Quiet generous sized rooms with sofa and balcony looking at the mountains. Great bar service. Hooked on Aperol Spritz. We love it.

We absolutely love this Hotel which is why we keep returning. The location, the views, the food, the wonderful staff and of course Claudia and Gerhardt. The attention to detail and the warm welcome ensures a wonderful experience. It is the perfect base for hiking and so easy to get from place to place by train or bus. Kandersteg is so lovely and traditional, surrounded by mountains and away from all the hustle and bustle of larger towns. A little piece of heaven! We look forward to our return in July.

We have just had a really enjoyable 8 nights here. The location is both attractive and convenient with the options of mountain walking in the good weather and good connectivity, especially to the Rhone Valley where the weather is often different if Kandersteg is a bit damp. The hotel is immaculate with great service overseen by the almost omnipresent proprietors but delivered by a mainly young but enthusistic team. Good stuff.

It can't be better. Beautiful room, great view to the Blüemlisalp group with glaciers, waterfalls, chapel and lots of nature, delicious food and perfect service. Have felt very comfortable here, even the owners help in the service, the house cat may also be in the restaurant sometimes and individual wishes are fulfilled without any problems. The atmosphere in the house is very warm. Unconcerned to recommend it, it is worth it, the guest is really the focus here. If you like to be in the mountains, then you are in good hands here.
