Fabulous family run hotel, nothing is to much trouble, have stayed here on several occasions.

Returned from this lovely hotel last week.
Lovely old world charm with all modern comforts.
Excellent, delicious food choices.
All the staff were very friendly, courteous and efficient.
A perfect location for getting about with the station across the road and Lake Brienz cruises next to the hotel.
A very enjoyable experience in this lovely hotel.

We find this hotel and it's best best in Europe. We recommend do book your stay in the Hotel when you are in Interlaken for finest experience. Superb location, admirable hospitality. Loved it.

Room is excellent, location is right next Interlaken ost and port. Slightly away from market like 10 min walk. But just 2min from coop. Staff very help ful and co operative.

The town itself is interesting. Good hotels. Service at a decent level. Every year we come and want to come back again and again.

The Du Lac is a family favourite but my husband And I haven't been for a few years. On our first Here Hoffman came and welcomed us personally and two of their long standing staff remembered us. It's not the most up-to-date hotel but it feels like home. The food is amazing and the views cannot be beaten. We won't be leaving it so long before our next visit.

The staffs in hotel are very kind and the breakfast was good and fresh everyday. All the services were excellent and even very nice scenery was there when I open the window!

I hardly recommend anyone comes to Interlaken to stay in this hotel. Honestly, I've been traveling to many places recently and I have visited many hotel but I've never seen nice and helpful staff like the one in this hotel. They have very good breakfast the rooms are very clean. Keep it up Du Nord you are awesome.

On arrival I got a free Upgrade. The modern room was nicely furnished and well insulated against the noise of the Church bells. Wi-Fi in the 1. Floor was not working, could be me, but in that of 2. Stock login. Otherwise, well maintained, very friendly helpful staff and very delicious Breakfast. Top!

Worth the stay… cross the road it is Interlaken Ost train station, walk back is the lake with a ferry station, nice food good picturesque hotel… we loved it was really a pleasant stay.

We stayed for a week in June 2015. Herr Hoffmann and his wonderful staff made it a perfect holiday. The position is great for travelling around the Interlaken district, by train, boat or bus. The hotel is quiet and the food is superb. We will be back.

Bathroom size rooms and aircraft toilet size bathroom. What more can I say. We were staying on 4th floor and the whole room shakes when we even walk. The only great thing about this hotel is the location. Very conveniently located to almost all good places.

Ultimate hotel for best service. The staffs are extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are very cozy. And the river view is astonishing. Also very perfect if you need quiet place to rest, especially in the river view room since it's quite away from the city centre. Train station are just steps away from the hotel, also the boat yard for a beautiful river sightseeing. Food kiosks/ restaurant are abundant near the hotel. Tea and coffee in the restaurant are very great, the pie's also. The only drawback is, the breakfast doesn't include many hot food items. Thank you Zaki, Ian, Mr. Hoffman, and Christine for all your hospitality :) Would definitely come back, and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone :).

We (me and wife) stayed for 2 nights here which probably enjoys the best location advantage (uneducated guess) anywhere in the world — next door to the rail station as well as to the lake and lots of scenic views from the rooms. Most pleasant was the friendly staff SABRINA on my request to be alloted a smokers room arranged a smoke drawing machine in my room, later since all nearby shops were closed, I could not only bum some cigarettes from SERAFIN also in charge of the restaurant (he also fed us great food), but LUIS, made some arrangements to procure a pack of cigarettes for me at late night — all in all the attitude of EVERYBODY of the hotel staff is most friendly — all directions, tips for sightseeing etc were a breeze — just ask any of them and they would take time of to attend to you.
