The hotel is old and almost breaking apart. Plus point is location near to Interlaken OST station and breakfast. The room was ok. Our shower was leaking, phone not working and front office staff almost overworked. For the price paid our expectations were high.

The hotel did not meet our expectations compared to the high price of the hotel. No A/C system, no iron and they charge customers to much to iron just one piece of cloth. In general bad stay at this hotel and I never come back to this hotel.

The only minus point is that there is no air-conditioning. The hotel does provide table fans. The weather is very pleasant if the balcony doors are left open throughout the entire night. Very good breakfast. Perfect location wise. Close to the train station and very close to all the shopping and restraunts. A definite stay again during my next trip.

Perfect welcome. Kindly employees. Delightful breakfast. We enjoyed this stay at any moment.

A place with morbid charm and high investment needs. The Wellness Locker is not separated by gender, the place and the cupboards do not once nearly. With the two cabins, which are separated from the visitors only by transparent curtains, not even the necessary discretion is ensured. Conclusion: Not even Herbertsniveau achieved. Very functional Wellness area.
The hotel, however, scores with good food and the excellently trained staff. Conclusion: Those who do not look so closely in the equipment are certainly satisfied.

In Interlaken you enter a house in beautifully tastefully cultivated Art nouveau style, decorated with flowers in a spacious ambience. You only meet casual and friendly staff, experience food in front of the open fireplace or at the luxurious buffet and have a view of a fascinating mountain world. Four days were like a week in paradise. Thank you!

First and very nice weekend at the Lindner Grand Hotel. Great location Only small flat nobody speaks French at the reception. Very nice room. The hotel is quiet and quiet. Perfect Service at the bar. Warm and welcoming place. The evening meal was excellent. Very nice wine list.

The receptionist this afternoon, because he doesn't speak French, I tried to call him at the hotel to book a New Year's Eve meal, this person hung up on me on the phone more than 18 times… completely incomprehensible for a 5 star hotel in Switzerland… what a service…
Knowing that because of his non-service on the telephone, he made a loss of turnover of 3500 CHF, for 2 rooms to 2 nights with a meal of awakens of 4 persons…

Very nice Classic (grand) hotel. Friendly staff and very good food. Free Wi-Fi for hotel guests. Swimming Pool with steam bath (40 degrees) and sauna (90 degrees). Rooms are classically furnished but offer all comforts.

Interlaken is a wonderful place. Getting there by train in the winter was a great experience. The hotel is bike nice and cozy, just perfect.

Amazing home from home! Always brings nostalgic memories back for myself. Highly recommended beautiful village, location and all right at the foothills of the majestic Swiss Alps! Nothing you could possibly want for here… everything is at your doorstep.

An okay hotel. Stayed for 2 nights. Breakfast was good. Room service meals are tasty and was very quick. No air con. Room was quite tight. Great bathroom amenities. Plenty of halal restaurants around + laundry shop. Free parking and liked that I could park and take the car myself. Need to work on insect problem. Had one spider descending from its spiderweb.

The location is great. Walking distance from the train station, restaurants, shopping. Hotel is clean and very comfortable. I love the balcony! Breakfast and afternoon tea/coffee is good. The river at the back of the hotel is also cool where you can conveniently walk/hike.

Outdated hotel, no air conditioning. They provided us with an old fan but still too stuffy to sleep at night. Huge spider in our room and spiderwebs all over hotel. The decor and appliances in the room appear to be from the 1980s. Breakfast was horrible, a weird mix of food (spaghetti?! ) and stale pastries. We could hear the floor creaking above us every time somebody walked by. Also, there is a booth in the lobby selling activities. Although they were not pushy, it makes the hotel look cheap. Don't be fooled by the exterior. There are better options in the area, all close to one of the 2 train stations.

A magnificent building in a great setting, with efficient and friendly staff, and we enjoyed our stay, but it is not a 5* hotel. Some aspects are 4*, some 3*, and some are — sadly — 0*, so it is a sham to promote it as a 5* hotel, and the company needs to do a lot of work, to bring it up to standard. For such hotels the devil is in the detail, and in some of these, the hotel falls down. The main issues are: 1) There are insufficient staff working in the hotel, so no permanent bar staff, no proper concierge/porters, just a sales point for adventure trips. There are insufficient cleaning staff, so that sometimes rooms were not serviced by 4.30 in the afternoon. The reception staff are excellent, though not equally knowledgeable about what can be done in the area, and command of English varies — drawbacks to a hotel claiming to be 5* 2) As a consequence of this and the pressure the cleaning staff is under, or a lack of proper training, or both, the room we occupied was never properly serviced — after the first day bathroom consumables were never regularly replaced. The small 'cream' cartons supplied for the coffee maker in the bedroom were never replaced after the first day, so we bought our own small carton of milk. Some of this was spilled on the fridge floor on the second day, and the spill stayed with us for the rest of our stay. There were cobwebs in the corner of the room, which also stayed with us the whole week.

Location: Excellent. Staff: Very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. Buffet breakfast: wonderful. Grounds and common areas were very nice. The bathroom in our room had been updated and was clean and had all the necessary amenities. My only disappointment was that the wall covering in our room had many stains. The carpet, too, needed a good cleaning or replacement. We were staying in a corner junior suite with a balcony. I expected a bit more for the condition of the room. Otherwise a very good stay.

Very expensive the prices of the rooms. In need of renovation…

This hotel was extremely expensive and for the price, we were expecting more. The room was very small, the bathroom was small and the tub was dangerous to climb in and out of especially for older people. It was not what I was expecting for over $400 per night. The room lighting was very dim, difficult to see. The walls were fabric covered, and so many areas of the wall were dirty. The baseboards were dirty, and the furniture looked very basic as if one could buy it at a yard sale. It was hot and of course, there was no air conditioning. We were given a fan with a very short cord that had to be plugged in on the bedside table blowing air directly on our faces. Poor planning on electrical sockets! The TV was situated on the bedside table which made it awkward to watch. It should have been mounted on the wall in front of the bed. The Internet was not dependable, cutting out off and on. The bed linens were wonderful, clean and comfortable. The towels were large and fluffy, The shampoo offered was cheap and small tubes anyone could get at any less costly motel. Not at all like what Marriot or Wyndham or Hyatt would offer! The lobby was very pretty, the dining area was very pretty and the breakfast buffet was fabulous, offering such a huge variety! That was well done! It was a great disappointment to stay here, We traveled with our Swiss hosts and they were equally disappointed. When a person pays more than $400 a nite, it should be worth it.

We had a lovely time in Switzerland and this hotel was superb. It is close to the Interlaken Ost Station which we used most days and not far from the busy bars and restaurants but still quiet. The staff were all excellent from the reception crew, to the guys at breakfast who catered for all of our requests (omelettes and coffees) and everyone always greeted us with a smile and were all very helpful. We never used the leisure complex as we had too much to see but the we had a large room with living area and view to the front, could hear the river which I loved and we could see the railway and the road but was never disturbed. My only negative comment is that being an old building, we heard noisy families in the room above with children running and dancing which is fine normally, but in these old floors, made it very noisy and the constant banging was becoming annoying. On two occasions, I visited and asked them not to bang so much. I would advise the hotel produce a note or a sign to be left in the rooms advising of this issue so hopefully some guests would respect others peace and quiet! All in all, a lovely stay and we will return next year… Thank you to the staff.

Beautiful hotel just minutes from the Interlaken Post train station. The rooms were very large, even by American standards. There was a great breakfast buffet included as well as a wine reception on Thursday night. The staff was also super friendly and helpful.

Thank you for your husbitality and servicing us in the hotel, the arrangement was very good and we are happy for that. Next time when we visit Zurich we will come to Marriot hotel for staying. Thank you very much…

Our stay at Lindner Grand was really fantastic. Right from arranging a pick up on a cold rainy evening to helping us arrange various activity booking, the whole experience was smooth and wonderful. The check-in was pleasant, the reception staff was warm and welcoming. The rooms though well maintained and clean, could do with a bit of up-grade. Specially the walls of the room. Other than that, the breakfast was sumptuous even for a eggetarian like me, with decent options to choose from. The location is the best part of the hotel, at the centre of Interlaken, the Lindner Grand provides you convenient access to the main market and nearby areas. They also provide you with rent bicycles in case you don't feel like walking around the beautiful city.

We liked our room spacious and comfortable. Well assorted breakfast. Spa with hammam and sauna and pool. The coffee machine in the room. And the friendliness of the staff.
LEAST: bad WI — FI connections. Not worthy of a grand hotel.

We were in the advent season by 2015 (here there was afternoon fine mulled wine and pastries) for the umpteenth time at Beau Rivage. As always, we have been very satisfied: large rooms with magnificent views of the mountains (unless no fog), very courteous throughout the House employees, a very tasty and beautifully arranged dinner, the large swimming pool and the steam Grotto, as well as the time-honored House with its special charm. As a finishing touch atop the first-class breakfast buffet. If you would ask me, what was worthy of improvement: well, the buns in the morning are not really good. But we get over it like ;-) )
It may also please consider that this House for us from D. Is still really reasonably priced for the usual Swiss price level.
Certainly we will be back!

The hotel is beautiful with antiquitärem style, the picturesque room invited to dream like the rest of the hotel also. Service and food were of very high quality!

Friendly staff, spacious room and the ambience of the hotel will make every stay to the joyous event. The cream swab was then still the dinner in the historic dining room. Finally also the visit to the SPA was a success.

We stayed over Easter and would certainly recommend the hotel to others. The service was excellent, eg remembering we preferred tap water with dinner. We upgraded to a junior suite which was worth the money. The two person jacuzzi bath was fantastic.! The food was excellent in the restaurant. We needed to make our choices in the morning but this was not a problem.

1. I was given twin bed though we booked for a double bed. 2. The check in process was terrible — when I enquired about why the first class room is not allotted — the reason that came from Mr. Oliver Dominik was inaccurate and false. He said that I did not confirm the upgrade by clicking on the desired option. He was completely proven wrong when I did show him all the confirmation that I received from the hotel. 3. The way we were handled at the reception and even on giving the internet password — I really didn't have any word to describe how people such as Mr. Oliver Dominik and the other lady (I do not remember the name) can come to the front desk of hospitality sector. 4. Since the complete money was pre paid, I did not have any option but to stay with the hotel. I will NOT recommend to visit this property once again, unless I have visible proof for improvement. We have for two spent the Valentine's day weekend at the Lindner Beau Rivage and we were completely satisfied. Ranging from the friendly and helpful reception across the room to the elegant dinner everything was top. Well, if you're fussy we have noted a slightly grubby factor in the room (which had a beautiful view directly on the Aare). Don't misunderstand: the room was clean and we have against a standard double room Junior Suite get but the sofa with his spots was for a 5-star House is not exactly inviting. However, that is the only thing I would complain about. The bathroom was very generous and overall the hotel has a charm which the first-class in the Switzerland is reminiscent of the golden era. It is designed not for "modern" but rather classic style and thus retains the original authenticity of Art Nouveau.
The Spa is equipped with an indoor pool, a sauna and a steam bath. Rather a few deck chairs were available for the size of the hotel, I assume however, that it is also possible in the summer, lie down outside in the beautiful park. Also you will find a fitness room with various equipment. Is also a Clarins Beauty Center and the possibility for various massages. We have enjoyed such and were extremely pleased.
Before dinner, we have initiated on the absolutely stylish bar with a glass of Prosecco. We enjoyed the dinner in the L ' ambiance and it was an absolute pleasure.

Stayed here again for the fifth time, excellent as usual. Service from all the staff is brilliant. Highly recommend.

Rarely is it possible in a 5*place to stay, the more disappointed I was, as my expectations have not been met. The property seems since the 80s, unchanged and renovations are immune gone. The room was very spacious, however, were the wall-paper with spots covered and it was a modriger smell in the room (like old rooms just smell). The curtains were no longer with the corresponding Eyelets in the Rail is fixed and the curtain was not fully involved. The Breakfast buffet corresponds to a Hotel in a lower category, the expected Details were missing. According to my opinion; if salmon is offered, should also onions/capers/horseradish exist. The Breakfast was not bad but it lacked that certain something. A small glass of Prosecco for Breakfast with the partner was also not available… The staff was generally very friendly and accommodating, just that the Bar (21:00), vacant was, and we after 15 minutes have gone, stands out a little negative. The Wellness area invites you not to linger and is rather Practical with a Sauna and a steam bath.

Well, we came with high expectations, as it is announced as a well-off, 5 star confirmed hotel. Indeed, knowig Interlaken for years, from outside the hotel looks really impressive and has a character. It was our first time to stay in this hotel, as we have stayed before in other hotels in Interlaken. Overall, we were quite astonished how the 5 star rating confirmed in 2015, did not match the inside package, amenities, overall state of the hotel and rooms. And this despite all efforts of very nice and friendly staff. Sorry to put it bluntly but the rooms, furniture, bathrooms, walls, carpets — all need serious renovation. There is a sense of teare and wear all over the rooms — we only wonder if this is a result of the way the Chinese and other tourists use the rooms? And finally the restaurant — both breakfast and restaurant are not at the 5 stars level, unfortunately.

The room was very nice, and warm, with wonderful beds! The Breakfast was also excellent, although I'm not a early stücker am :-) The Lounge and deal with the mulled wine I found very guest friendly and has to linger! I was unfortunately only one night in the Lindner. The Hotel is very nice and the Service very good, the only sore point for me is the bit in days to come ambience of the room.

We were there last summer. A classic hotel, outside and inside very classy, no soulless construction. Spacious lobby, wide staircases. The room was newly built with a beautiful view towards the Jungfrau massif, the bathroom. An excellent breakfast buffet, we could sit outside in the Sun on the river. Very friendly and helpful staff. Dinner (3 G menu) was fine, evt. Some small portions. The waiter was very nice, we could store our bottle wine until the following evening. When a subject lost of me in the city, the front desk was very helpful and had presented even on the following day at the hotel bar him me. Chapeau! Combined with a lovely stylish House with some attractive patina. We come back safely.

All Paphos hotels only in restrooms near the reception. 2 rooms-3 star level. Old, stripped, dirty.
On the couch to us not once lived animal at bathroom mould, walls with traces of flood and drawings made by the children, furniture from the past, as in a sanatorium in 1993 year, door to neighbors through which carries luggage and baby food. No sound insulation.
The worst, in hotels lice or fleas. Česalos′ all.

The waiter pulled a dirty stainless plates and put me on offer change, replied that they have 200 guests and all lacking. ) ).

Rooms are way too small (Classic Room) But the location is great and resection are very helpgul always smiling and try to help in every way they can in giving you the city info and make the reservations for your trips. Overall, I would come to this hotel if the rooms are bigger.

I stayed at the Beau Rivage 10+ years ago and it was "enchanting". I loved everything. This time I booked two "First Class Double Rooms" which were described in my confirmation as "spacious rooms at the front side of the hotel offering panoramic views of the Jungfrau mountain". The only truth to this was the view. The rooms we were given upon check-in, and were claustrophobic. They had to be the smallest rooms in the entire hotel. The mini-fridge did not work well, we had only 1 tiny piece of soap per room over 3 days, the balcony floors were absolutely filthy, the showers had no grab bars and no mat in the tub to prevent slipping, the wardrobes were filled with dust and dirt when opened, etc. My stay was horrible and what I planned for a special vacation for my family was a disaster.

My family stopped over the Lindner Grand hotel Beau Rivage, and we fell in love with the building and the antique look inside. The surrounding view was also breathtaking! We had 3 rooms booked for my family, but they gave us a junior suite, which meant we could cram my family of 6 into just 2 rooms. It was a short walk to the main town with lots of shopping or just soaking in the mountain sights. It we could, we would have loved to have stayed on longer.

My wife and I lived in Lindner Grand Hotel Beau Rivage at the night of 28-29 June 2014. We really enjoy our journey in Switzerland such a lovely and beautiful country, but the attitude of a front desk waitress/operator really destroyed everything. I do not know why, because we are Chinese and we do not have white faces? If not, why she is much nicer when serving white people? You can check your CCTV in the afternoon of 28 June 2014, I think the time should be between 18:00 and 20:00. Also you can check the phone recording (we were in Room 118). I have a lot of Chinese friends who will go to Interlaken via some travel agents. If they ask me for suggestion, I really would like to recommend this hotel but I cannot be dishonest to my dear Chinese friends. Maybe this hotel is designed for white people? If so, please do make a label otherwise we do not know. The Switzerland is an fantastic country and most of the people there (Zurich, Geneve, Jungfrau) are very very nice. All the other staff who we met at this hotel are also nice except somebody. You can simply ignore my feedback, but if you like this hotel, please do not let somebody, maybe only one particular person, destroy the whole hotel’s reputation and possibly the Swiss reputation. I am really sorry to disturb you but I have to do this because I like Switzerland and I do believe Switzerland is a really nice country for Chinese people to visit. Thank you very much.

Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed by the quality of the hotel. The only element which corresponds to 5 stars is the price of the room (and we have a big experience of 5 stars! ). Tell us that it is about the charm of a viel hotel when there is of the hurdygurdy tapestry, a little functional bathroom with a single washbasin, lamps ready of falling, a dirty carpet, cobwebs on the balcony. There is a difference enter "beautiful old" and not maintained. Coming from Vevey, we were ashamed of the Swiss hotel business. This for 1'278. — CHF for 3 days it is practically about dishonesty.

Probably we had a "hotel"card-room, because we have paid the full price for it.
A fan was our air conditioning. Stains on the couch, on the wall, the table lamp and the curtains. The exhaust of the bathroom was cranky. I were never willing to pay full price even though I have about 8m 2 more than in a non-Grand Hotel for this. There are the 2 given stars for the attentive gay friendly service (older established woman with glasses and mid-length hair, thank you for your smile! ) and the comfortable bed!
Disappointing! Because I was looking forward to this 5-star.

Excellent location near the station and the best views of mountains and river. And the Staff are very helpful and nice. However for a 5 star hotel I would except to find an iron inside the room and even they do not have it in the room to provide it when needed.

Very nice hotel! Had a room with magnificent views to the height. In the rooms all available, what to expect from a hotel of this class. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Only at dinner, I would have expected a half a chicken as a main course in such a hotel. Also was not at the rice as a luggage service offered in the departure, not be measured simply in such a hotel.
