Family hotel, comfortable, with a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains.
The breakfast buffet is beautiful, the staff friendly and helpful.

Exceptionally friendly staff, very clean, stylish furnishings in historic hotel / dining room, excellent breakfast buffet and delicious, innovative food in the restaurant "Taverne". Even in Corona times, everything could be enjoyed with stem and good safety concept. Thank you very much!

Great Take Away — Food prepared with so much love and freshness, not just 0815 quality, but healthy, fresh, tasty and balanced food that brings joy, almost everything packed without plastic! We were also served and advised perfectly, courteously and cordially — according to the time of course at a distance. This was just perfect and will be remembered for a long time, thank you very much!

We ordered Take-Away today. The absolute top hammer! We have received a full-fledged menu, something delicious as a take-away menu I have never seen before. This quality is super inexpensive, ecologically packaged and was also delivered quickly. I'm looking forward to the next order!

We had a very bad experience with the hotel staff, they guy at the reception was extremely rude and didn’t treat us well, this is very unlike Swiss hospitality! We will never visit this hotel again, there are many good choices near this hotel where staff are courteous and humble.

Good hotel. The rooms are renovated and very comfortable. The bathrooms were very clean and the internet was working properly. The breakfast was varied and of good quality. The service was always good and the location is central and close to the river. Recommended.

We were at this hotel for 2 of our wedding anniversaries. Both stays were excellent. Great room and great service.

Although there is no luxurious appearance, but it has a long history, for historical control is a good choice, next to the gate there are Dajing gift of the Japanese small garden, away from the main souvenir Street & station is not far, although only stay one night, but eat and live is satisfied, but stay to have psychological construction … Because the church is just behind the hotel, regular ticking bells are sure to be available (24 hours) …

Overall, our stay was great. The rooms are very nice and actually quite large for what you normally find in Switzerland! Their breakfast is wonderful, a buffet and beautiful dining areas outside and inside. Take note that they book PER PERSON. No matter the room you have chosen, it is an extra fee for each person staying there. We were confused by this and were surprised by an extra surcharge when we arrived due to the room being booked for one, rather than two. This was not the hotel's fault, just wish the policy would have been a little more clear, as this is not common in all countries. The front desk staff were friendly, but I would stop at about there. As far as assisting in plans or recommendations, they were not extremely helpful. Still a great stay and we would come back!

Good hotel, well located. Some staff were very friendly and others not as much. Strange system where the AC can only be switched on from the reception (not using the room remote)

Excellent staff, very good breakfast even for Halal travellers. Niqab and hijab friendly (like the rest of Switzerland). Rooms were very clean and nice with a mini bar and coffee station. My bathroom even had a bathtub which was perfect for soaking in after a long day of travel and exploring the city. Very convenient distance from Interlaken Ost train station (five minutes walk only). Very close to Indian/Pakistani restaurants like Shalimar. There's also a mosque nearby. Yes! In Switzerland! A little more about the staff, our receptionist was very sweet and helpful. She answered all our questions with a smile on her face and was very helpful even with telling us about train schedules.

The hotel is relatively far from the train station, and the bus doesn't come often, consider it if you have heavy luggage like ski equipment. The hotel per se is old, the room is small without minibar, A/C in our room didn't work. Overall the room is shabby. Hotel breakfast is quite good, with wide selection of both Asian and European continental breakfast. Especially nice consider food in Interlaken are extremely pricy.

The location in the middle of the beautiful old grand hotels of Interlaken is terrific! This is also a statement about the entire hotel. As an icing on the cake, it also has its own restaurant, the tavern, which offers top-level food for very fair prices for Switzerland. Everything is just right here and you quickly get away from it that it is really a pure city hotel, without fitness room, swimming pool, wellness, etc. For this you only have to go about 1km further into the Boedelibad. This looks bad from the outside, but has been completely renovated inside and fits really well. The staff was also incredibly nice and the sleep was a real dream.

Very clean and stylish hotel. Modern but still with a traditional swiss touch. The breakfast is rich and I guess would fulfill most guests wishes. The location is centrally located and easy to reach… really great!

Decent hotel but small box rooms basic service from reception staff who really were not really interested in our booking.

Clean comfortable hotel with a budget level. P. S. Budget level on 5th floor does not have lift access. Lift goes up only to the 4th floor.

Great hotel location and staff. Breakfask was included and the selection was good. Our stay would've been 5 stars if we didn't hear the noise generated by the other Asian tour groups in the hotel.

Very cozy room. Kids loved the bunk beds! The church that's directly behind the hotel can be a but noisy as its bells ring every 30 minutes or so.

Great food, friendly service. Always happy to come back for the fondue Chiniose.

4. The church next door often knocks bells at midnight, a bit disturbing.
The reactiveness is spacious, and the staff were also nice. The breakfast was also phenomenal!
However, the church near by somewhat stroke of the bell during midnight, abound was quite annoying …

Good hotel with a koi fish pond outside, situated in a good location for short walk to both sides of the lake.

Situated right in the middle of the city. You are close to everything you could possibly need. The staff are friendly and kind. The dinner is always delicious and the view of the Japanese gardens is fabulous.

A 3.5 star hotel that sells itself as a 4 star establishment. Clean rooms that are presentable, however with shower over bath, not suited to everyone. No room service, which is a surprise as they push their ground floor restaurant pretty hard (pricy to buggery! ). … Good location, kebab and pizza shop across the road within 100 meters. Also close to the station — lifts and escalators across the road towards the ferry terminal. A great hotel, however it is the little things that let it down. Staff friendly and enthusiastic, however don't expect a room before 3pm…

Lovely historic building dating supposedly from 1300. Historic guests allegedly include Lord Byron and Mendelssohn. Pretty cool, and luckily is recently renovated. For better or worse has a slightly modern feel to it. Friendly reception and reasonable room prices. Clean and tasty breakfast included!

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay. Just divine interior and fabulous customer service. We loved our stay and the meal in the restaurant was a really authentic experience… cheese fondue and delicious rosti. Very passionate Swiss staff. Great experience!

Hotel is well located, just 8 mins walk from interlaken ost. Offers good value for its price and quality of stay. It is an old historic building but the recent refurbishments made the rooms very comfortable and cosy. Service was good, food was good. Breakfast could be better but it's a decent spread.

This hotel supplied a pleasing experience — though one was disappointed to discover the Wi-Fi was not accessible from the rooms. Service and quality was exceptional. A grad hotel, regardless.
