The chef of this place dislikes tattoed people with beards and long hair. So basically me. Therefore, can't recommend the place.

The hotel concierge, manager, and staff went out of their way to make our honeymoon stay special. Amazing suite gifts including champagne and a personalized cake. The concierge offered very helpful advice on transit, restaurants, and sightseeing. Fantastic breakfast buffet. All the amenities you would expect in a classy hotel and more. The gorgeous view of Lake Lugano is unreal. 100% A+

Front desk staff very nice and helpful. Many nice touches like turndown service. Lake front, perfect location. Cons: No Spa, No Pool, very expensive. Bath tubs very very high, my wife has long legs and even she had a hard time getting in and out of the shower/tub. Hotel van not available for any local transport, just pick up and drop from nearby train. Van stayed parked all day and night. We paid $200 round trip from Fox town whch is only 20 minutes away. Front desk manager told me their van is not available at all, except for train station runs period. At over $700 per night, this should be corrected quickly. Hard to believe that a hotel can get a five star rating without a spa or pool. Would not happen in the USA. Sorry.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel on Lake Lugano. The staff is exceptional… actually, the staff is beyond exceptional. Every person we met addressed us by name, remembered preferences, and went out of their way to provide us with everything we could possibly want. They made us laugh and were there when we needed them but magically disappeared when we didn’t need service. The room was impeccable and very, very comfortable. I was on the beautiful balcony overlooking the lake one day while the housekeeping staff was in the room. They cleaned the room to the point I think they have a future as forensic detectives. A glass table was scrubbed and re-scrubbed and inspected until there wasn’t the slightest hint of a smudge from any angle. They are amazing. The hotel location is steps away from the gorgeous tree-lined walk along the lake and also a half-block away from the Paradiso ferry station. A short walk brings you to downtown Lugano. The location is perfect… peaceful, tranquil and simply the best. The food… oh my goodness. The restaurant and the bar serve the most wonderful food. I might never recover from the risotto we had the night before we checked out. It was too good to be true. And the fish served that evening came straight from Lake Lugano… it was spectacular. I hope we have the chance to return to this wonderful hotel someday. I miss the staff already!

Beautiful service. Food is very nice. Simone the sommelier will suggest the right wine to go with your meal. Salvatore sang to us in a serenade which was funny and classy at the same time. This place is not just a restaurant, it is a nice experience in a beautiful setting. Pricey, however Lugano in general costs a pretty penny.

This hotel was fantastic. Great bed, linens, shower. Very spacious. Good location in Lugano (short walk to city center) and spectacular views. Also very quiet and nice, strong air conditioning. But above all, the staff was delightful. They really went out of their way to make sure you felt like you were at home. They were super helpful and accommodating and truly elevated the hotel to a new level. I hope we can come back!

Stayed at this hotel as part of a June trip to Switzerland, and it is quite nice! On top of having beautiful views (ask for lake view — that's amazing, while garden view is just okay) and relatively luxurious rooms, the place is eco-friendly and owns a farm in Kenya, so giving this place your money does good for the world. Breakfast is lovely, service is nice, and while lesser compared to something like a high-end (level 9) Marriott, I give this hotel a solid rating and would say it is at least in the top 10%-15% of hotels. You won't be disappointed.

Luxury hotel near to lugano lake, they offer good live music as well as good drinks and nice atmosphere. Very classy and for me a bit to posh. During the year they organize wine tasting with very interesting wine producer from Italy and Switzerland.

The nearest five star to the shops, and they give you free public card rides (train, bus, etc. ) The rooms I the new building are good and spacious.
