Very nice hotel. Rooms are very clean with comfortable bed. Room is full of amenities like locker, cafe machine, alarm clock etc. There are HDMI, usb ports on the wall. Staff is very helpful. Great location in heart of the city. Noting to complain about. Would love to stay here again.

LOVE the shower. It has the clear and foggy windows. It's a Must!

This is the best Novotel I have ever been to. Staff are always friendly, facilities are always faultlessly clean and no one ever really uses anything apart from the pool.

Nice place, ambiance with style and interesting the Duo formula of the restaurant with good dishes. Evening menu with choice of reduced food, suitable for hotel clientele, passage and short stay, not suitable for people residing in Lugano because the fourth time you always find the same dishes to order. However, quality of the kitchen and the service strongly recommended.

Beautiful house, but one unfriendly employee can let the beauty fade.

The management treats people without consideration, they try to follow the rules blind and forget about personal considerations. I hope the treatment was not for racial issue, because it seemed like it. Very disappointed!

It is worst hotel I stay so far in my life! Bad service!

Conveniently located near restaurants, pharmacy and Lugano lake. It is about 20 mins walk to the main shopping area where there are more bars and restaurants. It has a glass wall dividing the room and toilet/shower but there is a switch to block out the view. Service is standard, nothing special. Buffet breakfast includes scrambled eggs, bacon, tomato, fruit, juice, cereal, a range of pastries and bread which is substantial. Beds are comfortable, pillows are fine too. Very clean and new hotel. No view of the lake from my room. Complimentary toiletries are fair trade products which was nice.

We stayed at the Novotel/Ibis/mercury throughout Europe, London and New York. We have never received a disagreeable welcome! I sent an email of booking on Thursday evening to 2212 h, and the next day at 1330 h my e-mail had not yet been opened! I wanted a room with two twin beds over sofa bed because we travel with our little girl who just turned 16 years old and who doesn't want to sleep alone, but I was told it was impossible and I had to take two rooms, that one of the adults had to sleep with our granddaughter! I preferred to look elsewhere, disappointed with the attitude of the Novotel Lugano Paradiso!

Helpful staff. Peaceful. Lovely bar and pool. Well maintained.

At the moment, the site in the immediate vicinity, but otherwise, in every respect, highly recommended!
