Good and bad. Good that the room was nice, the receptionist friendly and the parking was free, bad that the room was very, very hot without a good AC meaning a bad night's sleep, the junior suite had a balcony that was more or less shared and with a view of a construction area and the breakfast was on the expensive side for its quality.

Clean, spacious, practical. The included transit passes we're a big plus although it would have been nice if breakfast was included. Everything was very comfortable.

The room was clean and well furnished. Smiling staff, helpful and polite. Good services at fair prices. Recommended!

Nice spacious room. Good restaurant. Service OK. Perfect for professional displacement. 5 from the station. 15 min by bus from the Lake. Nothing to see or do on foot in close vicinity.

The rooms are quite nice, unfortunately much too warm, you could save Heitzkosten. In the Badeimmer the fan runs too long… unnecessary noise.
The food unfortunately too cold, and also not made by the Beßten cook. The breakfast was fine.

Hotel without much charm, but clean, well maintained and quiet (apart from the beds which allow you to trace all the night time activities of all the neighbors). Some inventors unexpected are put forward : it is, therefore, a hotel that offers a bonus a bit of culture!

Fast check-in, friendly reception staffs, large rooms with very comfortable beds, good location n close to bus stop…

Excellent room and service. After 8 years I went back, a new management and a new hotel. So much more beautiful and comfortable than before…

Very nice Hotel and in a relatively quiet location a few steps from the highway.
With a walk you reach the metro and in a quarter of an hour you reach the center of Lausanne.
Breakfast is rich in a very comfortable room.
The only note outside the choir is the touch-screen reception system that looks like a cigarette dispenser, placed in the entrance corridor. Warning how electronics end up complicated life instead of simplifying it…

Hôtel des Inventions was a good experience. The price was ok, the rooms were clean, the shower and toilette and washroom were clean and up-to-date, and each room had an inventor themed to it. Breakfast was only available for an additional cost, and the location is not the greatest; it was a little out of the way, out from central Lausanne a fair ways.

It's not close to the city center but there is a parking lot if you have a car. If you are taking the public transportation, there's a bus stop very close and they give you a card to use it for free during your stay in town. The rooms have a nice balcony and breakfast is very good. Check-in and out are made virtually so its very quick!

Hotel located in a quiet and green area of the city. Very spacious rooms.
