A perfect mix of elegant and rustic, very friendly staff, so that you feel comfortable and at home. After all the positive reviews and great pictures, the bar was very high, but the reality exceeded the high expectations…

Very nice hotel and not too expensive… for Zermatt!

Amazing hotel with super friendly staff, nicely decorated and comfortable rooms with very nice amenities. They have small appartements with 3 rooms, perfect for 6 people. Would definitely recommend!

Hotel Firefly was amazing! Excellent service, lovely staff and a massive room! We stayed there for 4 nights, and enjoyed every second of it. Would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Zermatt!

This place was amazing the staff are really friendly and the rooms are really big. In the room I was staying in — which wasn’t the best one, had 3 bedrooms each with a double bed and TV. Another great thing is that this place has free breakfast which you order the evening before and pass the sheet to reception and they deliver it in the morning at your desired time between 7:00am and 12:00pm. You also get a good view on level 5 of Zermatt as shown in the photo I posted.

There is only one word SENSATIONELL.

What is really cool about this hotel are the serviced apartments. They host up to ten guests. We stayed in a three bedroom apartment for the second year. The apparent has a large living area with a fully equipped open plan kitchen. It comes with various electronic toys for kids or adults which are still kids. A fire place is also available in the appartement. Breakfast is served at the dining table at the time you ask for. You choose from a large selection the night before. The spa area is very nice as well as the gym. The pool is in my view to small to swim. The hotel is close to the base station of the lift that goes up to the Little Matterhorn. The city centre is just a 7 minutes stroll away. We will be back next year :-)

Very luxurious hotel for the price. Can highly recommend the earth suite if you're enough people. Very good spa, bar and friendly staff.

Amazing! Amazing chalets within hotel — we had a 4 bedroom chalet — with lots of space, really lots of space and an amazing view of The Matterhorn! Amazing service!

Best place ever like everrr.

A chic and fancy hotel, priced at the higher end of the spectrum. I only stayed a couple of nights during the ski season, not long after it opened, and have occasionally visited the bar subsequently. It is ruinously expensive, however, it sets an example to others in Swiss hospitality, who tend to terribly under-invest in their products. This shows what the reward for investment can be, if you do it with some flair and enthusiasm.

We stayed here for 1 night and can't wait to go back with the my daughter Tiffany for a few more nights. We need to go back since never got our Zermatt magnet. The hospitality and friendliness was beyond great. We stayed there November 11 and of course it was snowing Beatiful place and people. Maria O'Keefe-Pierce.

The bar was a very cool bar, it had billiards, and a cigar area, and a fireplace… but it was so hot inside it was uncomfortable and the drinks were very expensive. A game of billiards was 10 Frank which while I was there was just under $10 which is also outrageous for pool, I do not know however if that was one game or if it was multiple because when I didn't even attempt to play when I saw the price. I made the assumption it was for one game based on the price of the drinks. Obviously it's a ski town and a ski town is expensive and I'm sure their costs are high as it is isolated and difficult to bring in goods, but it was just unacceptable the prices. The place was meant for people who do not have to be concerned with money.

Bar 55 is just a great place. Warm welcome and perfect athmospher. The perfect place for a drink.

Wonderful hotel. The staff is always smiling. Even at some kilometres from my house, the only desire I had was to stay there.

I was in Zermatt and was at Hotel of Firefly in the WELNESS that was super! In the evening we were at the bar, the atmosphere is great and the staff were very friendly. We had a lot of fun and go quite sure again there!

I was last year for a night at the hotel Firefly, Zermatt. The rooms are amazing, very big and beautiful!
The Bar55 in the hotel is absolutely recommended.
Like to come back again next winter.
