Great family hotel, leaves nothing to be desired even in bad weather. Great wellness area with large swimming pool, spelraum for the children countless leisure activities in the immediate vicinity.

We stayed last weekend and surely coming again. Had an absolutely fabulous view of the Matterhorn from our room balcony day and night. Spacious accomodation, friendly service with an amazing panorama views all around.
Kids enjoyed every corner of it.

Horrible service. Never again.

You can see the crest of the horse in the vestibule of the hotel, but the view is not as good as the most famous picture point on the river bank. The room was a bit old, but very well maintained. The service staff are well-trained and feel at home. Dinner time is just like the usual time in a Swiss restaurant. The front desk can send postcards, but to prepare CHF, not surprisingly, the small amount usually does not accept the euro. The disadvantage is that there is a distance from the town and the station, and taxis are not cheap, but the electric cars sitting in the horse's car are also special.

OMG I just loved this place, the town of Zermatt is awesome in general. But staying at the Christiania Mountain & Spa was a highlight for sure. The staff was awesome and it's just minutes from the train station. I only wish I could have stayed longer. I'll be back for sure… :-)

Great hotel. Very clean. Great Service. Close to everything you need. Train station, high street, shops, restaurants, pubs and also plenty of hikes.

One of the best Swiss hotels ever! Swimming pool is relaxing, bed is comfortable, dining options are brilliant, staff is outstanding. Hope to return again.

The service are great and staff are genuinely kind. That was very impressive. Also breakfast was great. Spa opened till 8 pm in June, 2017. So I could enjoy Sauna after hiking two mountains. If any of you are going there in Winter, I think it's a perfect hotel to stay because of swimming pool and sauna.

I can't say enough good things about my stay at this beautiful and unique hotel. I stayed for two weeks either side of my mountain trail race event (Matterhorn Ultraks), and it was the best base to experience Zermatt. The staff treated me so well and it felt like coming home every evening I returned to my room after mountain adventures exploring the area. Traveling alone, I really appreciated the sheer comfort and friendliness of this place, and the view of the Matterhorn from the restaurant each morning while having breakfast was priceless.

I had a very nice stay. The view of the room on the Matterhorn was sensational. What I liked was the Swimming Pool.

Zermatt was breathtaking, surrounded by the Swiss Alps. The Christiania hotel is a quaint hotel, but not meant really for those with difficulty walking. The layout of the hotel and the rooms are odd (compared to the traditional hotels) and required us to do a bit of a treasure hunt to find our rooms. This required us to go up and down stairs and then up and down the lifts. As we only had one night there, can't complain about the rooms (they were big) and comfy. The morning breakfast was a bit of a mad rush with our tour group mingling with the other guests. But depending on which side of the room you get, you might just get to see the majestic Matterhorn just by opening your window. A friend took a fantastic picture of the Matterhorn at sunrise, which we missed.

Location's quite far from train station. But we can see Matterhorn scenery. It's very beautiful.
