Great place to stay, centrally located. Room was clean, big enough for the two of us. Breakfast is great, so many options to choose from. Dinner was also delicious. So the restaurant is great. I would return here.

Good hotel in a central location. It is handy for shopping and the public transport systems. The breakfast is great. The rooms are clean with a good bathroom. The one let down are the lifts; rattly and slow with glacial door opening and closing times. Apart from that, a good hotel.

A very nice place! Verry kind and helpful staff. We were two who lived there for a weekend. The room was a bit small but very cozy, the bed was very comfortable and it was a quiet place so it was easy to sleep. The bathroom was small but functional and had a very nice shower! There was no closet in the room but there was plenty of space under the bed to put you stuff in. I was missing an little mini fridge to put my beverages in, but that's not a real problem. The free breakfast was delicious and had many different things to eat. They got a terrace if you want to eat outside in the summer.

Excellent hotel in the center of Stockholm in walking range to just about everything in town. All the personel were very kind and helpful. The room was nice, roomy and tidy. Breakfast was served rather late, but it was excellent. It was served in the lobby and even featured DIY-waffles (! ) along with everything else you'd expect to find. Very nice stay, recommended!

We were two who shared a room for a week. Great service from the bar staff and the room was always cleaned properly. The location is great too.

The room was a bit on the small side for two people, but was affordable. The free breakfast buffet was a welcome bonus. The shower was superb. The beds are comfortable and it is quiet around the hotel, allowing for easy sleep. The staff were all kind and welcoming.

Tiny, basic rooms, no wardrobe or storage at all, a few hooks on the wall, titchy tiny hand towels instead of huge bath sheets and a small duvet that didn't come near to covering the bed… and you have to pay extra for a window. Hint: don't bother, it's internal and looks onto a corridor, so people can see you in your room as they pass by. Just awful. Plus side… The breakfast was fairly accomplished…

Clean, friendly environment. Amazing breakfast that will make you feel like royalty and sad when you leave. Awesome courtyard and located literally in the middle of lots shopping & dining options. Great experience!

Rooms are small and not chic, but it's enough to Stay overnight. The Service is great and the Breakfast is very good! A lot of Choice also for Vegetarians and Allergy Sufferers and in general everything your Heart desires. It is centrally located and I would book here again.

Quiet Rooms, possibly Something small. Location perfect.

Perfectly situated, 5 minute walk from the Central train station and arlanda express (Airport train… Highly recommended. ) Close to the main shopping area. All staff were very helpful… As my flight was cancelled originally they allowed me to re book my room within 60 days. Room was small with large bathroom, but was comfy and clean. Breakfast is very good. Large selection, you'd struggle to find something you don't like. Storage lockers available.

We went for a business dinner with about 20+ people. They handled it pretty good and had a great selection of cocktails and drinks. The team working were pretty good and a great sense of humor which always make it better!

Had a very good experience at this hotel, nice large clean hotel room for me to fly around in and also the shower was nice, the whole bathroom was warm and had heating in the floor so it was nice also. The view was kind of poor but that's what you get when living in the middle of a city, saw some nice things anyway, some pigeons and some jackdaws, friendly birds in the neighborhood, awesome! I loved that there was hockey on TV almost day and night. Would get 5 of 5 stars if I would be allowed to join my manager and company in the bar/lounge to enjoy sone nuts and mingle with other guests and ALSO eat the EPIC (from what I heard) breakfast buffet, sunflower seeds, grated coconut, fruit, cheese, and a lot of other favorites of mine were served. I got some portions brought to the room but love to eat it all on spot, fresh fresh sunflower seeds, pineapple… yoghurt… mmm… Cheers anyway hotel! Nice to have lived in you!

Very nice hotel. Rooms small but very efficient and as we stayed at the hotel only to sleep, no problem with the grandeur. Breakfast at the top and for all tastes! Staff very friendly and helpful, always a hello/goodbye when you enter or leave the lobby. Hotel very well located in the city also, 5 min from the central Station or the Metro. Very good stay!

The hotel is great the staff is very friendly and helpful ready. The rooms are a little small but for home citytrip völig in order. The early piece buff is just delicious.

Located near the central station and a short walk from Drottninggatan, the shopping street. The room was without window but at all claustrophobic. Impeccable cleaning. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Good breakfast There is the possibility of leaving luggage in custody.

Who the hell came up with the brilliant idea to play really loud dance music between 9 and 12pm on a Thursday? Sad to say, but returning customer not coming back. Nice rooms, great breakfast and so on, but who cares if you don't know if you'll be able to sleep or not.

When they tell you the room is small, trust them — it is. But they make good use of the space. Breakfast is pretty good and so is the location. A 5 min walk from the bus/train station. A bit pricey, but so is every hotel in Sweden.

A well-placed hotel right in the heart of the city. Perfect for business trips. A breakfast buffet so good I'd pay to eat it even if I wasn't staying there.

Nice hotel in Stockholm city center. Rebuilt from old building, what is visible in corridors. But hotel is modern. Rooms are small, no wardrobe for you clothes, only hangers. One big minus is missing chair and table in the room. It is hard to work there. Breakfast like in the other Scandic hotels.

Near the Central station, well connected to public transportations. Wonderful breakfast, beautiful common areas. Smells in the no-windows floor could definitely be improved.

Very small rooms, even the upgraded rooms are very small with no pace to hang clothes, to place for shoes, your backpack, no place to read or sit. The most essential elements such as a pen or a garbage bin are missing. The rooms literally have the size of a good size bed. The service is good but this is not compensating for the very small rooms.

Visited our guest from the Philippines here and they got robbed during breakfast on their last day. Her whole big bag was just taken. They couldn't view the cctv of the hotel since it's hotel policy. The police was nowhere to be found and took a long time to be contacted. All her important belongings including passport and budget for the whole production staff (TV) and artists were stolen. In short, security in this hotel sucked big time.

Yes we just stayed and also found it odd there was no chairs etc in the room. That aside found reception staff and barman very friendly and breakfast was great. Definitely a great location and recommend!

Fresh, modern, very clean. One of the best buffet breakfast choices I've had. Great location close to train stations and a 10 minute walk to the old town. Windowless rooms downstairs were dark.

A good location, and the facilities are fine. But it is very noisy, we could not sleep without earplugs: we could hear our neighbor snore, and there is a club across the street of which you can hear the base from 22:30 until 3am. The breakfast buffet is too crowded, the coffee machine was broken for 3 days in a row, and the service could be better. Bad value for the high price.

Sweden can be expensive but there's no reason for the rooms to look like a convalescent home. These Scandic hotels need a good makeover. This was our second Scandic hotel and while the breakfast is good, the rooms are not. Weirdly, when we checked in, they told us our room was ready but it would cost us extra to check in earlier. That's really odd. Never encountered that before.

The hotel is really close to the city center of Stockholm just a few minutes walk to shopping, entertainment and night life. The hotel features a nice yard where one can eat breakfast in the morning or go for a beer or drink in the evening. Talking about the breakfast, this is one of the better places for having it. They serve everything that your mind can desire. There are hotels with even more variety regarding the food selection but for 150SEK (~15, 5€) it is hard to beat. The places has a modern feel and the interior looks new and fresh. The main thing that makes this a three star hotel is the rooms, the are pretty small but has most of what you could need. The corridors are quite narrow and the mats on the floor looks kind of "off", and does not really go well with the rest of the place. The staff was really welcoming and overall a great place to stay in Stockholm.

Rather small room but very clean with a moderate bathroom. Wide range of TV-channels. The staff were nice and the bar in the lobby had a good atmosphere. Didn't try the breakfast myself, but heard it was fresh and eco-friendly, lots of fruit.

The hotel is adjacent to the central station. Very handy if you come from the airport or you plan to move. The rooms are very very small, already in 2 is hard to get around, and half of them are without window. On the third day you start to feel the lack of air circulation and the need to understand that weather conditions are outside. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

It's clean, the rooms are small but decorated very nicely, it's near to Gamla Stan, the breakfast is included and also… It has a deli on top!

I am really shared! Hotel located in the centre in a shopping street and very alive! Cleanliness side correct. There is no chair or closet in the room. Beware there are rooms without window and this is not marked anywhere at the time of the booking (we went by the site of the hotel) and suddenly one has the impression of being imprisoned. If you take half board, the choice of the ingredients of the breakfast is very correct. If I return to Stockholm I'll be back in this hotel but I will ensure that this is a room with a window.

Staff really gentle. The location is perfect because is near the main train station and in the center of Stockholm. You can reach each part of the city easily by walk. Breakfast is huge and everything was good. The room is fine, clean and have TV. Only a little note they could add a sound system for some music from your smartphone.

Modern Hotel. The room was veeeery small, but still practical and sufficient. Very rich Breakfast buffet and free coffee and tea bar in the Lobby. Great location, the train station is in 5 min walking distance.

Colonial Hotel has only one good thing, the breakfast… and Sometime also Wi-Fi. Our room was dirtied, the lift too. Reception close at 8 pm so you can t have any information till that time. The room was really small and with only one wardrobe.

No early check in and when we did get the room it was not cleaned well. Bathroom was left a bit dirty from previous guest. I have not gotten a solid nights sleep due to very hard bed. If you stay here ask to stay in back of the hotel… less noise from traffic so you can leave your window open. It's a nice hotel aside from the above issues.

Terrible, terrible Hotel I have ever visited! Never again! Dirty, unfriendly staff, and a small stuffy chambers (rooms) with no Windows. Never again will I trust the recessions of the Internet! It was an incredibly disappointing stay in a dingy Hotel. Solely the situation was positive! The Hotel is not a single star!

Cheap hostel. Free breakfast. No kitchen. Reception closed over-night. Basic rooms with shared bathrooms. Sometimes noisy.

Location close to central station but behind major street. Room size is good enough for taking rest and room style is contemporary. Service is great. Self checking through hotel iPad or your mobile phone app. Doorlocker support app to unlock.

Bare bones hotel experience. Perfectly fine for an overnight stay or two. Minimalist rooms that are clean and functional. Ironing board shared in upstairs room, no chair or desk in room. Very fair price for what you get.

The rooms here are small but that seems to be the norm for Scandinavia. I take this as a hint that you should be outside enjoying the city. The location here is unbeatable, there is free to-go coffee in the lobby, the breakfast was decent, and the train to the airport is actually underneath the hotel. For a super early flight this was a huge plus. The bed was comfy and the rate was reasonable. If you stay here the easiest way to get to your hotel from central station is follow signs to the Arlanda express and walk the length of the platform. At the end of the platform is stairs heading up and the hotel is the first door on the left.

Perfect location if you want to "breath the city life" with the locals. It is not in a residential nor a touristic part, but just on a main street where "daily life happens"! Perfect for a business stay or any occasion where you will use the simple, efficient room for a shower and sleep only. Dont expect service or luxury, but convenience and just enough facilities for a nice stay. Prices are reasonable for a Stockholm hotel.

If you arrive by train, the location is unbeatable, right next to the Central station. The old town is easily reached on foot, the South district are just a few minutes away with the subway. The rooms are not particularly spacious, but for a stay of a few days is sufficient. The Breakfast buffet leaves in terms of selection nothing to be desired — however, you should be oriented to the "Breakfast traffic" to the attention of the law to the often high influx of people and calls to appear as early as possible. The Hotel, the Ice is connected to the Bar — a visit is not necessarily required.

Perfect hotel if all you need is a decent bed and a very nice (rain) shower. Don't expect room service, don't expect a seating area and a desk in your room, don't expect jacuzzi's or a fitness area. But me personally never use any of those anyway. This hotel focuses on the important things for a good night's stay and most important: location location location! Walk a few meters in one direction to Vete-Katten for your perfect breakfast/brunch/lunch or fika bulle, walk a few meters in the other direction for the Drottninggatan. Also on walking distance of the central station, Hötorget and via the Drottninggatan you walk right into Gamla Stan. I stayed here for 5 nights in a row and really enjoyed it. Didn't use the bar or restaurant in the hotel, although it always looked appealing and nice.

The location is almost perfect. The Arlanda Express quasi-straight to the Hotel. The entrance area of the hotel is decorated in a modern style. Here is the all day free coffee and tea are available. The room is functionally furnished and quite modern. You can sleep well in the beds and don't get much noise from the street. The bathrooms are clean but they urgently need a renovation and are not very comfortable. The toilet has the chair in the shower was wobbled broken. The Breakfast is very rich. There is something for everyone. For people with gluten intolerance, there are rice cakes and, on request, also Glutenfreis bread in different varieties. For Vegans is soy milk, is also on demand, there are plenty of Alpro soy yogurt. Fresh fruit and good eggs there are also. Nice also the Gimmick at the drinks counter. Here you can have per Tablet what juice you like.

Good lounge area and Wi-Fi is fast. They have put PowerPoints EVERYWHERE which is good. A weird cross between a hostel and a hotel.

My wife and I had a very comfortable weekend in Stockholm staying in this hotel. Small but ergonomic room which was clean. Had everything you needed including smart TV. Check in was automated but staff were around if needed. Could also use Wi-Fi to unlock room door. Very cool hotel overall.

Good hotel with charm in a good location.

Not much to say about this hotel. It was very well placed and everything was clean and well maintained. Wasn't overly fond of it compared to the other hotels we had been in during our Christmas trip but it is a solid hotel. If you need to be centrally located in Stockholm, go to the HTL Kungsgatan.

Nice hotel, perfectly located. The lobby is quite pleasant, even though it was cold (in December). The room is big enough and cozy with a TV allowing you to mirror your smart devices and nice lights. Although, we got a room in the basement and I was quite bothered by the strong smell coming from the kitchen (there is a restaurant in the lobby).

Rooms were small, but location was great at a reasonable cost. Lots of useful features, like AirPlay for iPhones, but they did not work. Gave feedback twice, but no one came to get it fixed. Toilets had a foul smell as well throughout my stay. Food at the hotel restaurant was mediocre.

Amazing Hotel. Comfortable, centric and well communicate. Very good breakfast and the check in system by computer is easy and fast. The only negative point is that the rooms haven't got a closet, but it's true that you've a good box under the bed to leave your things.

The hotel is very close to Central Station and all the main shopping areas of Stockholm. So basically you can walk everywhere and do all the things you need. The check-in system is by computer so have your confirmation number ready, you will need it. The rooms were simple with limited hanging space and the extra towel is hidden in the drawer under the bed. Staff cleaned our room everyday and one day, we even got free breakfast as the breakfast shift was over and staff just told us to take what we wanted (we didn't push it on other days). In any case, it is right next to one of the best bakeries in Stockholm so you don't need to go far if you are hungry. Everything is very modern here at this hotel but don't expect personal service, it is all very self serviced including the lockers!

This hotel is great. The rooms are very small, but they are laid out in such a way that it works fine. Although like most of Stockholm, the food at the lounge/restaurant is not cheap, it is good and the food is a great value for what you get. The included breakfast is also a great value and delicious.

The hotel is located in such a great location with easy access to major shops and public transport links. The atmosphere of hotel is appealing with modern touch. It's highly recommend.

Very nice hotel in a strategic location in the city. Close to public transportation (metro, bus, tram) or, for those who enjoy walking, a 25-minute walk from the old town or from points of interest like the Vasa Museum or ABBA Museum.

Now named Scandic Kungsgatan. Very helpful staff, tasty breakfast buffet, good Wi-Fi, comfortable rooms, and perfect located near to city center and railway station. Will definitive choose it again :)

Great hotel at a great price. Very clean and modern. Good breakfast. Very close to the old town (Gamla stan), you can go everywhere by foot from there. Only negative things: No refrigerator and no trashcan in the room (Value room).

Good hotel, great place to see everything. But for this price even when very small rooms… Nevertheless, I would recommend.

Staff: Friendly, as it should be :) Location: Can't get any better, very central - Internet: Superbad, slow as hell! Noise: You can hear the toilets flushing all night long. Conclusion Overall very prize worthy hotel, we will definitely go there again!
