Super location. Great staff. It is an old building so the normal rooms are quite tiny. And with the hot summer this year (2018) the lack of air conditioning was unpleasant. It appears that the rooms are receiving upgrades and refurbishment.

A nice hotel. Close to the train station and very close to the downtown. Staff is very kind.

Never as a member of a tour group have you ever been presented with such a horrible 3-course menu in a gastronomic establishment: warm potato salad and cold meat as the main course, rubbery dessert. The room was tropically warm despite the fan, because the window could only be opened a gap wide. The beds were good. Unfortunately, there was only one tub in the bathroom. A few more shelves would not have been wrong either,

Breakfast fine and tasty but seriously: old worn out place where just every here and there a bit of cosmetics are being applied throughout the whole area.
For one night-ok.
But for more? Never. Especially the bathroom is… well, 1970 that might have been modern. (Obviously we cannot have had any of the refurbished rooms even though the room apart of the bathroom looked new. But the pics I see compared to what we then had is… let's say a big contrast. )
Eventually we aren't just yet the target group and in our 50ies might love it…

Satt I baren, bra sortiment. Många typer av öl. Bra service. Lite dåliga srips, men annars vart mten riktigt god. Nice ute servering då solen ligger kvar länge på söder sida. Trevliga bartenders och servi-triser/törer. Lagom priser. I helhet är jag riktigt nöjd.

Friendly and helpful front receptionists, the whole aesthetic of the hotel is lovely and the breakfast in the morning included with the price is probably the best I've been to in other countries whilst coming over to compete in a tournament. Would definitely reccomend this if your looking for somewhere to stay whilst visiting Jonkoping, the best time of year to visit the hotel is in December as in the evening the surrounding buildings and the whole vibe of the city is awesome and feels really christmassy and I loved the bars surrounding it, if you do go visit either the bar eith the outside fire pit or go around the corner to this polish pizzeria.

De nya rummen på våning 4 var så där. Bra säng, utsikt och en riktigt bra frukost. Men ingen golvvärme. Iskallt och drar som bara den efter golvet när man kommer ur duschen. I skåpet för automatsäkringarna surrade det extremt mycket för relät som sköter strömmen ett par minuter efter du stoppat I kortet. Inte optimalt för nyrenoverat!

The hotel was kinda dissapointing. The rooms looked sad, there was No bed spread, (really weird, I even use this at home) and the halls looked like something from a horror movie. On the other hand, the breakfast was Great and the personal in the lobby was just so so sweet. I will prob. Book a hotel with Better rooms another time.

The hotel is housed in an older, beautiful building. The hotel is really centrally located and with little luck you get a room with literally on the lake. Unfortunately, the age of the building is noticeable in the rooms and especially in the bathrooms. I'm not sure if there are more modern rooms on the lower floors, which in the third are in any case something in the years, but still maintained top. The breakfast was very good and rich in choice. Staff is helpful and very friendly.

Basic hotel. Good for business travel. Only had a radiator for heat, and no AC which is fairly standard in Sweden. Also had the horrible Sweden shower system that seems to be in all the hotels here. English pub attached to hotel has some decent food.

We had a Christmas dinner with work. Food was great and in good variety. Staff was accommodating and the place looked nice. Would definitely recommend!

Centrally located in the city, bus stop 2 minutes from the hotel, friendly staff, generous breakfast buffet.

Stayed 2 nights over a week end. Had the honour to “test” the first refurbished room (superior). Very comfy, 2 x 90 cm beds. New bedding and lovely sheets. Room towards the court yard and when windows were shut it was completely silent! Loved the colour schemes, especially the wardrobe & head board. Bathroom very luxurious with enough of shelving (I had 3 night bags + my husbands hihi) Lighting was also great. The staff at the reception plus a couple of the breakfast boys & girls were very sweet, but there could have been a few more to be able to clear the tables and to fill up with food a bit quicker. When all rooms are refurbished I would strongly recommend this hotel on a prime location in a magnificent building.

The hotel was in a refurbishment phase. The bathroom is not that good. Furthermore, one can hear clearly noises from other guests from other rooms. Not that many plugs available for laptop, mobile phone charging. On the positive side — the breakfast was good.

The hotel is well overrated!

Comfy beds. Rooms not as large as expected but have everything you need. If you have difficulty climbing into a bath for a shower ask for a room with walk in as the sides of the bath can be high. Excellent breakfast selection. Great location near the lake, would definitely use again.

A really nice hotel, which lies about 3 minutes walk from central station. The rooms were modern and had a great view. Great place for conference and meetings.
