Our experience @ Hotel Clarion was a weekend getaway. Not worth rs3500. Not cleanliness. Service not good. Food is not tasty. Most of them are dry. Worst hightea ever. Never recommend. Not satisfied.

Standard of food was excellent. Will lunch there again.

We had our wedding on 30 th December 2021. We should say the staff was very helpful and the service and food is excellent. Everything was superb and well arranged than we expected. Specially we should thank for Miss Nadee and Mr. Sanath for their kindness and guidence to make our event succesful. Their Uber eats cheese cake is awful. They put “clarion cheese cake” and price at LKR 1200 and only send a very small piece. Very bad wording in pick me app. Other products have “pieces” specified. Even in good places like Butter boutique we get a bigger piece for around LKR 400.
On top of that The cake tasted moldy. It was probably an expired cake. Horrible experience.

This is totally fake. The room is not clean. The room smells of dust. 🤮🤮 I asked many times for some real 4tos before check-in. But they didnt respond. Not recommended at all 👎👎👎

I would recommend Hotel Clarion for any of your events. I planned my birthday party with them. They indeed provided me with a exceptional service and a friendly atmosphere. Working with them was very easy and everything was handled very nicely and as I expected. A special thank would go to Ms Nadee for being very friendly and very corporative to handle the event very smoothly. The food was delicious too.

Had arranged a candle light dinner to one of my friend on last Sunday (20th of Oct in 2019). I asked them for several times whether it has informed to relevant sections because it should be a memorable one. Then they said that was confirmed and all are knowing that. Last Monday I asked from my friend how was their dinner which I had arranged. Then they told me what they were faced.
You have said me that you are providing a nice place near to the swimming pool and delicious food with your best service. But when they came there, even your staff did not know whether there is a candle light dinner on that day. Then your staff just arranged a place in your family restaurant.
Then I gave three phone calls to your reception officers. After the last phone call one of your Manager had called me and he told me that he will give a phone call within twenty four hours with a solution or with a positive feedback.
Since last Monday I am waiting for your phone call.
So that was the situation of your good service.

We had our son s 2 nd year birthday party at diamond ballroom in clarion hotel. Mr. Sanath gave us a excellent service with his team. We enjoyed the food and party. Food was awesome and everyone appreciate it. Thanks a lot for your service. Bravo team. Keep up the good work.

Good food and efficient staff but there's a huge tax compared to price.

Food is delicious and fairly priced. Well worth the visit than going to small restaurants around. Staff are super friendly too. Lovely atmosphere specially for families with small children. ☺️

Extreamly poor service with unpleasant staff. Really disgusting about its current situation though it had a great time till last few years.

This hotel is conveniently located but it is needs renovation which we learnt the owners are going to. I have stayed there on 3 occasions and used the swimming pool before. The staff provide very good service.

The capacity and the space of the wedding hall was not visible to the outer view of the hall from the main road. I have to mention that the outer view of the wedding hall gives a weaker impression on the whole capacity of the hall.

Attended a wedding here. First thing I had to encounter was lack of parking. Did not see the car park, but the gatekeeper mentioned it was full. But as for positives he tried his best to find a place for parking. Wedding was held at 2nd floor. Sapphire was the name of the hall, I think. I believe the venue is partitioned and given to multiple parties at once, because there were few disconnected areas to the main room where the event was happening. Food was mediocre but the service was good. Prompt filling of food items and taking the finished plates and all that.

A good place for a tourist just outside Colombo. Good facilities and location but service and food below average.

Had dinner at Tulips restaurant. Decent food. A flutist and a drummer provided calm, yet pleasing music.

I do not recommend this place to stay. We booked a luxtuary room before a week by visiting there. On the day we went there at right time but our booked room was not ready for us at that time as another couple was there. They didn't checkout yet. So the receptionist asked us to wait for an half an hour out side. You know how it is horrible. We were too much tired and with carrying bags we waited around 45 mins to get our booked room. After that we went the room but it was not cleaned and arrange for us and it was full with ciggerate smokes. So we ask them again to clean it. But at that time they said it's not possible, We have to wait until smokes disappearing. They don't have any other luxtuary rooms free too and asked us to take a normal room. We were very very disappointed and said that we are not going to stay there anymore with wasting our time. Then they refuse to give money back too eventhough the fault is with them. After an arguments paid half amount of our room charge. So don't visit there. The services are utter rubbish.

Excellent restaurant and great availability from the staff. The rooms leave a little desire. Always missing the soap and towels.

Horrible service and neglected unprofessional service. Brought in couple of overseas professionals for lunch. Restaurants are with full of fled and bad odour. They do not know how to serve a soup. Soups were spilled all over the cups. Not a professional place and not aware the meaning of professional service. Shoggy foods no taste at all.

This place can be easily accessed as it is located adjacent to the Colombo-Kandy main road. Parking facilities are available inside the premises. Food is satisfactorily good. Elevator seems bit old. Spacious halls.

One of the well known Hotel in the Kiribathgoda town. Located closed to the Kandy road just passed the clock tower in Kiribathgoda town. Internal facilities are not quite good. Taste of foods is not much high. Good place to organize some functions such as get wedding receptions, together, birthday parties, etc. In reasonable cost. Has swimming pool and friendly staff they have.

It is good place for indoor gathering or a function. They have done a great job to present the hall in gradure style. But there were some parts where continuous maintenance is needed.

One great place in Kiribathgoda… halls are little small, but place is decent compared to the town's standards…

Very good hotel in the area. Food also very good and have very good managers for your functions. It's face to the Colombo — Kandy main road and do not need to search.

Great place for a hangout. Reasonable price and very friendly staff.

Good location, in shopping district, and good facilities. But most of them including the rooms need renovation. The staff was friendly and overall we enjoyed the stay.

Worst hotel ever. Don't go there. It looks like five star but it does not. And they tell a less price when you call, but charge higher when you go there. And sanitac facility also very poor.

The best hotel in the area. The best gym and the pool. The pool maintained really well. Helpful staff. Tasty food and reasonable price. Good laundry. More parking spots needed.

Very good city hotel Good option for anyone who needs a quick accommodation close to colombo Variety of options are available mostly. For a business or corporate visit good place to stay Bar, restaurant is good, nice options Food is good but not greate but there is room for improvement.

The room we stayed was comparatively large. Classy furniture. Anyway the bathroom was quite small and was not giving a wow effect. Very helpful staff. Can be recommended.

Competitive prices for weddings and other functions. Nice and large conference / wedding halls.

Good for the location. Rooms are spacious. Food is okay, but the quantity seems to be for two. TV is very bad. Only a few Srilankan channels are there. Same was the case when I was here almost a year and a half back.

It's very nice place to have a romance dinner. Love the live music and very friendly service. Excellent.

I went for a wedding at diamond hall. Carpet was so unclean. They haven't even tried to wash it. It was my ayya's wedding and we were so embarrassed. People were complaing all the time. Wash rooms were also full of dirt. And we have given a changing room that doesn't have a wash room. And there was a washroom which opens to the diamond hall directly. It was not worth of having a wedding at hotel Clarion since it is a once in life time opportunity. Staff and food was same as other hotels. Seriously guyes maintain it. I was so disappointed and angry.

Reasonable place. Has few choices when it comes to banquet halls. Prices are in the mid range.

Nice place with homely atmosphere. People are very helpful and generous. Excellent food. Recommend for anyone who really looking for accomodat.

I went for a Lions Club function and entering the Hotel at the gate there was water and you need to jump over the water to get into the Hotel. The for ladies it was very difficult with their dresses. Informed the Manager who was with a Jacket at the Reception and I informed him just to keep a couple of planks across the water but after three hours when we were leaving no action was taken and it was the same. The food was much to be desired and to say the least not palatable at all or I should say insipid. On top of things they has another function a floor below and we couldn't hear much as the sound from the floor below was loud and penetrating to the 3rd floor it was not much fun but an annoyance.

Very over prized desserts as mention Mr. Indika before. This is well planned trap since they don't surve any soft drinks. And well below average food also.

Good hall for weddings. Parking space available. Foods are good. Hotel environment is not great.

Good hotel for wedding and other ceremonies. Food is really good. Good service. Rooms is clean. But hotel is old. Hotel surrounding is not beautiful.

Laid back and super service.

After your lunch don't order ice cream. That's a trap. If you mistakenly ordered ice cream eat and run AWAY… ONE ICE CREAM CUP OVER 300 RUPEES with out taxes. Poor maintenance. While you eating labours are working around you. Security staff are very helpful. GM also.
