Beach location, peaceful, top quality restaurant (apparently people from bigger hotels cone here). Owner, Joe is great and is Welsh yayyyy Great time if year we came in (early June) and was peaceful and still hot but nice. Lovely place. Clean rooms (by Sri lankan standards). Comfortable nights sleep. Loving it.

Great venue in a fantastic location with local staff offering a great and helpful service. Rooms are ideal providing aircon plus. Moreover, managed superbly with a lovely on site restaurant providing a wide choice menu. It also had an associated dive centre next door offering diving, snorkelling etc. A great place to chill and relax.

Very nice resort … The loungers in the shade of the trees and parasols … Super delicious breakfast variations.

Clare and Jo have created a fantastic beach "hang out", which is a great way to describe it. Eat, drink, sunbathe, swim and diving to name a few things to do whilst staying here. Food, service and ambience is brilliant. This is my second time here and no doubt they'll be more. 5 star.

Nice accommodation right at the beach in Trincomalee. Simple yet bright, purpose-built rooms with a private bathroom and an outdoor terrace. Nice restaurant on the beach, pleasant service, delicious food, good prices. I recommend!

The drainage in the room we stayed in was poor, the whole bathroom smelt awful. The staff and owners were really nice but the smell in the bathroom needs to be fixed or the room before it is rented out again.

This is great! Always a clean beach! Spacious and light rooms! Extra-positive hostess from the UK! Friendly staff! And the most delicious soup in all of Sri Lanka!

Lovely welcome in a unique place as the two women who run it and that make you feel immediately at ease at home, rooms with sea views are a real balm for the city stress. The kitchen of the restaurant lives up to the welcome view is that the five-star Golden Beach Cottages, can offer you. Jo and Claire are two extraordinary master of the house and attentive to detail and well-being of their guests. Accoglienza incantevole in un luogo straordinario come le due donne che lo gestiscono e che ti fanno sentire subito a tuo agio come a casa, le camere con vista sul mare sono un vero balsamo per la cura dello stress cittadino.
